with out a question best comment Bobby made was when Ric Flair low blow Davey Boy in the ring and Gorilla said to Bobby " did you see what he just did " and Bobby said " wow man would do anything to win, I would do that to my grandmother if I had to "and Gorilla " will you stop !!!"
The amount of talent on this show is ridiculous! Flair, Macho, (prime heel) Jake the Snake 🐍, ‘Taker, Piper, Hogan, Sid, Million $ Man, young HBK, Bulldog, Bret Hart, Road Warriors, Kerry Von Erich, The Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter, Snuka, Boss Man, Mr. Perfect, Haku, Duggan, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Martel, Tito Santana, the Bushwackers, IRS, Warlord, Barbarian, The Nasty Boys, Owen & Anvil, Volkoff, Hercules, Earthquake & Typhoon, Mountie, Brooklyn Brawler, Virgil… and you got Bobby Heenan, Gorilla Monsoon, Fuji, Mean Gene, Jimmy Hart, Jamison and the Genius… best roster ever.
Hands down my all time favor Royal rumble because of the late great Bobby "the brain" Heenan. Absolute fucking legend and there'll never b another like him. Truly grateful I could enjoy all the crazy/funny stuff he do. Thank u so much Brain, RIP.
Still my favorite Rumble. I remember watching it live! It was intense due to Henan's commentary. So the undercard wasn't the greatest, the Rumble was stellar and it takes up most of the show so ok by me.
Bruce pritchards readout of the wrestlers involved in the rumble was incredible! Nearly burst by the time he growls “its time to rumble! ITS TIME FOR THE ROYAL RUMMMMMMBLLLEEEEE!!!”
I abso-f******-lutely love this whole Something To Wrestle AND Something Else To Wrestle show. My drives to the gas station, work, and anywhere else i can plug my Aux cable into my CD Player, consists of me listening to this or watching every mile i drive. Thanks Bruce and Conrad for an awesome show. Its a big part of my entertainment and its worth every second.
I love this shit man! You guys are awesome....fan for 25+ years of this business ( yes the actual details and aspect of the wrestling industry) keep it up
We used to joke about Jack Tunney, he looked exactly like my dad. During PPv's he used to go to his gfs house, so we used to joke that he was jumping on a plane to the PPV
@JASON CUTSHAW why? Men arnt allowed to have GF? Are you ihto men? Whatever's your taste ..no need to knock it.. Dude said he was a kid at that time... And jack tunney was funny to me as well CONSIDERING i was a kid and had no idea the real prez was the announcer Vince mcmahon..... Im curius as to who jack tunney actually was lol
PRiiMO VALENTiiNO I think he was a wrestling promoter from Montreal who worked with vince’s father and looked presidential!! I heard that on the wrestlemania 6 show!!
Greatest Rumble match of all time IMO...at the time it was so cool to see Flair make a real mark on WWF history. Great show guys...thanks for posting this early for us.
I have watched the ‘92 Rumble more times than I can count. Too watch it synced up with Conrad & Bruce’s commentary was an absolute treat. Amazing stuff. 😂
SETW - Wednesday Conrad on Jim Ross Report - Wednesday STW (BONUS SHOW!!) - Thursday STW (Friday Noon's Main Event) - Friday I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
Wacko Jacko says the guy who created a fake Michael Jackson profile because you're confidence is so low that you can't even comment using your real name? You're a mug.
Hey Daniel Kane saw you comment on other videos, then spot you whilst listening to this. You come across as a good guy from what I've seen previously. These STWs are great to listen to, Bruce was there through some of the greatest times. I
In my opinion 2001 was the best royal rumble . Hope one of these days you guys rewatch the whole ppv and do a show on it. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks for the year or two of entertainment And hope for more to come
My All-Time favorite moment in wrestling was Flair winning the title… Woooo!!! Hogan losing, combined with the best Rumble match ever and Flair becoming the Champ-Champ… at 13 years old, my birthday was just a couple weeks before… ordering this ppv was one of my presents 🎁 and Flair’s performance was truly icing on the cake 🎂
I absolutely love these old shows when there's nothing else on you tube I go back and listen to this classic show all the time also they're prime time wrestling epidsoe
I recently watched this on the network. One of my favourite Rumbles of all time and yes it is because of Bobby Heenan's commentary. The ending still doesn't make sense to me. Everyone else who got eliminated made their way to the back. Hogan had to stick around and even try to eliminate Sid. Seemed like an entitled brat to me by this point.
Buddy Rogers held both the NWA and WWWF titles. In fact, one of the reasons why Capital Wrestling became the World Wide Wrestling Federation was that Rogers jobbed out the NWA belt to Lou Thesz.
One of the best rumbles and thank you for the bonus show! Why is it that Bret looking to take a better opportunity with WCW is such a bad thing? Wouldn't anyone with any job be open to better financial opportunities? Somehow because of this Bret deserved Montreal? Frustrating that you correlate these two.
Gene smokes cigarettes too...if you find the WWF OUTAKES on UA-cam from 1984...They show Gene taking a quick few puffs from a smoke lol so who the hell was smoking...I dont think be wanted the smoke to show on the Flair Promo because it was LIVE
Born and raised in Buffalo New York die hard wwf fan i attended wrestlemania 6 in Toronto which is only a hour drive from Buffalo it was a experience i will never forget especially being 12 years old. Learning albany was getting the royal rumble which i thought was a strange location i begged my father to take me but we could not do. I remember watching this on the channel with it being blurred out with the lines preventing viewing but we could atleast hear the commentary 😅
Alan Cashman Whatchu think of Mayfield going first? I’m an OU alumni so I think it’s cool, but idk how well Baker’s game translates to the NFL and I think Cleveland is a shit place to land.
Don't think he was the guy to take at #1. Rosen is QB I liked most in this draft. I think Mayfield has the raw talent but he worries me between the ears. Has to make good decisions and not be a distraction. No doubt about his desire to compete. I like his talent but not a guy I would have taken with 1st overall pick.
Alan Cashman I think the stuff about his immaturity is overblown. I don’t personally know him, but I have friends that do. Everyone says he’s a good guy. He’s just a fiery dude. But he’s not the Johnny Manziel type that is going to get wild at a strip club and snort cocaine off of the asses of high priced escorts. He’s going to get in controversial spats now and again, but he’s a likeable guy. His teammates and coaches loved him. Im not sure the same couldve been said for Manziel.
I agree but media makes it a big deal when something happens and then it affects team because they have to answer questions about antics continuously. Really, worst thing he's done was the drunken incident with cops. Happened to a lot of college kids and grown ass adults for that matter. The on the field stuff has been a result of him being ultra competitive and as long as he can stop the gestures on field, he will be fine. Doesn't bother me but media eats that crap up. No doubt about his dedication compared to Manziel. Manziel should not even be mentioned with Mayfield when it comes to being a teammate and a competitor. I'd take Mayfield all day over Manziel.
sorry to random reply when your not even talking to me lol but i must say as a bills fan i was actually hoping we could get mayfield if we trade up i thought . than he goes number 1. i was surprised as hell. i think most people were. i thought cleveland would pick rosen, or allen. im happy bills got josh allen at 7th tho.
57:13 They did a segment of the Snake Pit when Roberts was a heel and he put the DDT on Hogan and the crowd cheered Roberts and they went in another direction
had to laugh out loud when Bruce said "Ray Candy was a nice guy. I don't know New Jack, but he's probably a nice guy" ... then I imagine a guy throwing a dude off a scaffold nearly killing
Thumbs up right from the start! CLASSIC Jim Johnston synth Rumble theme, first used on Summer slam 88 iirc....can I get a like if others think they should bring back the classic Mania, summerslam, series and Rumble themes?
Man oh man...Hearing Bruce describe the whole FLAIR HOGAN situation...and Conrad going over the house show results..I like hearing that and the attendance for shows..all of a sudden...THE BUSHWACKERS WIN...........I FORGOT THE MATCH WAS GOING ON WHILE THEY TALKED HOGAN FLAIR LMAO wow what a long match for those teams lol and to still have the cheesy shin kick at the end lol
As great as Flair is in the Rumble, NO ONE is better on this show than Bobby Heenan
Hey stupid! get me something to drink!! and in the back interview he says I never had a doubt in mind lmao
This was absolutely the height of his announcing career and the best show ever of him & Gorilla
with out a question
best comment Bobby made was when Ric Flair low blow Davey Boy in the ring and Gorilla said to Bobby " did you see what he just did " and Bobby said " wow man would do anything to win, I would do that to my grandmother if I had to "and Gorilla " will you stop !!!"
much agreed...heenan was the man!!!
it's a kilt not a skirt
Best rumbles ever 89. 90 . 92 . 1998 . 2000 .
4:35 to get to the countdown to press play

This was the best Royal Rumble in my book.
It's great but I really love 2001
@@Stevenirons2001 is easily the best Rumble PPV.
Hell yeah!! The GOAT of royal rumbles
3 episodes in one week...you guys have spoiled us fans. Keep up the great work!
Kerry Von Erich walking to the ring while Ric was waiting for him was Gold
The greatest Rumble of all time! Thanks guys for the show

The intro with Bruce doing Vince announcing the wrestlers is pure gold.
Superb. I actually laughed at Bruce when he did the impressions
My favorite Royal Rumble. Thank you guys.
I love this shit man! You guys are awesome....fan for 25+ years of this business ( yes the actual details and aspect of the wrestling industry) keep it up
My favorite rumble. Watched this with my friends so much back in the day. This brings back good memories as a kid.
You guy's are better than thee entire WWE promotion.
i piss myself every time Bruce does Stu and says " that big rhino"
That big bastard.
I really enjoy Bruce’s Bulldog impression, one of his underrated ones in my opinion
This is like SOMETHING TO WRESTLE CHRISTMAS!
Listening to Bruce while they are going thru the promos before the Royal Rumble match is classic!
Travis Dickerson agree
THE HULKSTER MUST POSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep...Sid 😂😂😂
This show is definitely underrated.
GOD BLESS You
My favorite Royal Rumble. The talent in the ring, the back and forth between Gorilla and Heenan my gosh it doesn't get any better.
Will you stop !!!!! 😂
I love you guys! It's great to go back to my child hood watching the wwf!!! Doot doot ! Keep up the good work guys ROLL TIDE!
Rumble 2001 fully packed of star power
The British Bulldog impression from Bruce was funny😁
This is the best cover you guys have put up so far.

Love the show! Been watching WWF since 85. Hope to see you guys at the CAC 2020 in Las Vegas
BRUCE: "I don't know New Jack, I'm Sure he's a nice Guy"
Conrad: *crickets* *crickets*
Chris Angelucci I think he was trying to be sarcastic
And I was trying to keep my laughter silent since I am listening at work.
HA!! Same
I love those awkward pauses Hahahaha
With A Tear In My Eye Wooo !!
Wooooo!
Woooo!
WOOOO!! We love you Ric!!
Awesome promo by Ric, Perfect & The Brain :-)
This ain't flair country anymore it's flair nation
You guys do make people smile. I love this show and thank you for it. I put my cigarette out.
“Hey I’m the repo man...and I’m going to steal your shit” 😂☠️
The line from Heenan on the Barber Shop was "Ooh I knew he was gonna do that. He don't need Janetty!"
The best line.....Janetty just threw himself through that window to escape Shawn Michaels!
So. Many. Impressions. COMEDY GOLD!!
Saw this on the NETWORK and came to UA-cam to subscribe great content
Conrad thank you for making me love wrestling again ... and FDM
Ox Baker used to come into the VA where I worked up until his death. Used to cut promos on some of the guys who knew him as a wrestler.
It’s not fair to Flair!
I have watched the ‘92 Rumble more times than I can count. Too watch it synced up with Conrad & Bruce’s commentary was an absolute treat. Amazing stuff. 😂

I did too!! Entering in at number 3 lol 😆😂😅
Unbelievable Royal Rumble 👏
Have they done Summerslam 91 & 92 yet?
Why do you think they call him The Barbarian, he’s not a hairdresser on his day off you know!?

"I don't know New Jack, but I'm sure he's a nice guy too."
*pause for 5-7 seconds*
best thumbnail you guys have had yet, huge pop for that.
Travis W ya man it really ties the vid together
Fuckin love that davey boy impression
56:54-No! Jake the Snake was over as fck on his own.
Jake and Hogan never wrestled because McMahon knew the fans would cheer Jake and boo Hogan!
Bobby's commentary from WM8 was just as good in my opinion.
I always loved that theme, from the time it was originally used for the first time at SummerSlam 88.
You are correct about that. I like it too!
Totally agree. It always reminds me of summerslam 89, the first show I watched.
Who knows how many bags virgil has gone through in the back
What an intro omg Bruce that was awesome.
The new foundation could have been something good I think, but their gear fucked it all up..gosh darn pal.
Loved both shows on the network. Glad to get this too thank you keep up the great work

The shock stick noise omg.
Lol, love it.
Can you do Summerslam 1989 with both Bruce and Tony? I would love too hear their opinions!!
The Bushwackers and Jamison had a rivalry with the Beverly Brothers and the Genius
I always thought Gene improvised “put that cigarette out!” to make it seem like there were actually more “press” there to cover this esteemed moment.
Gene smokes cigarettes too...if you find the WWF OUTAKES on UA-cam from 1984...They show Gene taking a quick few puffs from a smoke lol so who the hell was smoking...I dont think be wanted the smoke to show on the Flair Promo because it was LIVE

I noticed that too! 😂
WOW...Bruce looks like a cross between Michael Hayes and AJ Styles in that picture. The artist deserves a phenominal "A-DOOT DOOT DOOT"!!!!
I would rather have seen Paul Diamond & Pat Tanaka as BADD COMPANY in WWF instead of The Orient Express.
You wouldn't have enjoyed seeing them being jobbed out. Better off having them as The Orient Express.
Bobby Heenan was on point the whole night, but the Bushwackers vs. Beverly Brothers' match had me in stitches.

I'm surprised they didn't mention Roddy Piper's promo on the Mountie before the match, comedy gold.
