Karel Fortyn, 1959-2011

Last October I had the pleasure of spending the day with Karel Fortyn at the Seaway Serpentarium in Welland, Ontario. He was a pioneer in the Canadian herpetoculture community, and will be deeply missed. This is a little clip in which he describes escaping from Czechoslovakia to Canada with his reptiles in tow.
