It really is a work of art and beautiful workmanship! Remove the Halfords, boy racer bonnet and boot, colour match them and that thing would look perfect!
What did it cost to build , and how many man hours went into it , was it a new shell or from a very good road car of the late seventies, it certainly looks impressive, it would break my heart to see it thumped after the time and effort went into building it . 😊
Assuming you live in the UK and can just pick it all up: The engine with supporting stuff is 25k (they quote around 20 for engine, then theres fueling, ecu, tuning), Samsonas transmission probably another 7, Atlas rear axle 4-7 from Grp4 Fabrications (depends how far you go). New shell is 25, rollcage 2-3 (xrayed tig welds etc), suspension 4-7k (depends how far you go). Then there's seats, wiring, lights, wheels, fire suppression, paint, intercom etc, not to mention the tools to do it all. Could grab a rusty shell and do your own rust repairs (no point using a nice vintage shell) to save 10k, but at this point you're already loaded and beyond mad so it doesn't even matter anymore. At full blast by yourself with your own tools maybe 1000hrs spread over a couple of years and 100k ($/£/Euros) give or take, if you want someone else to do it for you add 25k, maybe a bit more. Ofc I'm roughstimating. Either way, like you said, this is an impressive car 😊
Love the car but HATE them with those disabled hand controls that seem to be popular nowadays. If you can't drive a 3-pedal manual with an H-pattern 'box quickly, then don't bother doing motorsport!
That's a thing of beauty the set up is top notch it's still manually gear changed ie by pulling or pushing the gear stick so what exactly is wrong with it? Is your bugatti manual
Sequentials are for wallet racers. Period. If you don’t have the talent or fine motor skills to drive a proper rally car then stick to sim racing. Absolute wet dream on wheels
@@aaronmcconnell9369 That's the stupidest thing i heard. So basically ALL rally drivers from the last, let's say 15 years, are wallet racers? Loeb, Ogier and the lot?

That’s carbon fibre 😂😂
Its a purpose built rally car with carbon fibre panels.
At around £150000 i doubt a boy racer could afford to run it.
@@Mrjd-du1ql Maybe so, it still spoils the look of the car. What are the two laughy things at the end of your comment for?

@@EVILUTION9 A few more words and you would have formed a sentence. Well done, you are getting there.
Stunning, defo needs a bit of mud up the side of it though! 😁

@@ToreDL87 thanks for that low-down , it’s well worth it , as they say rallying is better than sex 😃.
At least £150k.

dream car!

You do realise that motorsport is about coming first right? Sequentials are quicker, that's all that counts. Weekend fun car, manual all the way.
Thats the rally spec sequential setup.
Its not an historic class car for amateurs.
