Ravens might have had the #1 defense, but kc was #2. They only allowed an average of 7 points in the second half all season. They are that good. Giving Mahomes and Reid a defense like that is honestly unfair. The Ravens #1 defense did its job in the second half as well, but mahomes and company had already done the damage at that point.

Roughing the passer can be anything above the shoulder up by the helmet, the qb throwing the ball after 15 secs and gets hit, or hitting the qbs legs.
There are several reasons why the Ravens are not able to win the big ones.
The Ravens are an undiciplined team (needless penalties), they have a quarterback who makes poor decisions at critical times (sacks and untimely passes), Jackson seems to always be looking for the “big” play instead of taking what the defense gives him, and they have a head coach who has trouble playing against better coaches. One thing that would really help is if they would move Jackson to a wide receiver position and bring in a quarterback with a little more experience in winning. This might allow them to move to the next level.
While the Chiefs didn't play their best, they did win. The definition of a really good team: Even when they play poorly, they still figure out a way to win the important games.
By the way, Lamar and Patrick have been in the league the same number of years. Lamar's playoff record is now 2-4. After another Super Bowl win, Patrick's playoff record is 15-3. I think that's case closed on who the real MVP is.
I hope the Ravens have a good season again next year. But if they don’t make some serious personnel moves, they will find themselves in the exact same predicament.

Actually, literally, objectively, THE WORST HOLDING CALL I HAVE EVER SEEN IN 33 YEARS OF WATCHING FOOTBALL. Its SO BAD that I can ALMOST buy that these games are being rigged in such a way to make the game interesting. This game should have been 30 - 10, but the NFL decided they want to make it look close.
Roquan did that on purpose to make it 1rst & 10 instead of 1st & 5 so it’s harder to get a first down so they can keep time on the clock. Don’t understand why it was unnecessary roughness… should’ve been offsides and a 5 yard penalty but it was actually super smart.
They could have also called the defender for a face mask . Instead of roughing the passer.
