What size NBA swingman jersey should you buy

Im 6 feet tall , 205 lbs. I get large. Xl fits ok, but i go with large.

I’m between M and L, and I understand what you mean. The M is a little to tight on the chest but I still prefer the M over the L because than it is to lose.
