- This song was suggested to me by Gianluca (Deisinoful) and I thank him because I loved to learn it, even if I do not speak Italian and that (once again :) I do not have the voice adequate ... so,you will suffer with me, in the highs! I also shortened the last words because I was mistaken all the time ...
Elisa Toffoli, Italian singer with a splendid voice, wrote the lyrics of this song thinking of her childhood friend, who died of leukemia. The music was composed by Ennio Morricone, famous composer (among others) of music of Western realized by Sergio Leone. This song is also heard in the film "Django Unchained" by Quentin Tarantino.

J'ai aussi abrégé les derniers mots car je me trompais tout le temps...

When I gave you the link it was a little more than a joke based on the Elisa-Elisa thing, and wasn't sure you had the stamina to sing through the full song in a language that isn't yours, so chapeau for the feat in the first place.
The most noteworthy thing is your Italian... I'm surprised, here and there your vowels betray a foreign accent (you tend to close them), but in the 90% of the time I could easily believe you are Italian, and never you say something that to Italian ears would sound outlandish, nor I could possibly spot in you the French origins. Certainly you have a talent for diction I totally lack.
The song is fantastic, in my opinion, Morriconeworthy, and you have offered the tribute of a beautiful cover. I dind't suffer earing, as you feared, since the natural timbre of your voice is particularly fit for the ethereal touch that was already in the original.
Very good picking, much envied by me who can only strum when singing.

Perhaps one could take this beautiful expression in Italian, as the basis of a universal language, assisted by this explicit gestural all Italian too..... a kind of concentrated Esperanto.....it would suffice to use a certain tone or another to nuance our state of mind and make ourselves understood from our interlocutor, whatever his
nationality.....it would simplify international relations so much ...
