Thank you for being faithful. If it is ok, I will be forwarding these to my Church’s Prayer Team and a study I am guiding. It is past the time for followers of Jesus to act as though we do not understand prayer. It is time to do it! In doing so we become more like Our Lord!
This guy speaks to many of the questions and doubts i have. I need someone to help me understand all this. For instance, what does faith feel like? How do you know you're not just going through the motions?
That’s a great question, perhaps the only short answer that I can think of (for what is worth) is to say that it’s found through God’s Word shared in community with others who are seeking to know Him more. I think our contemporary Church has lost the art of discipleship, where a few people can sit down over a coffee, to read and reflect on God’s Word and consider what it means. Faith comes by hearing the Word, and then in living it out in the midst of others so that you can see and experience it in action.
This is such a remarkable message on prayer!😊
Giving appreciation to God .. . So God please give me that desire to appreciate and love You

In this circumstance faith would be having the certainty in your heart that God is real and hearing your prayer
