Ok... brief lore lesson. Technically, Halazia is not part of the The World arc, it is a spin off set in the same universe with a different perspective and at a different time. Guerrilla and Bouncy directly follow on another, hence both albums start with "The World" while Halazia's album was "Spin-off: The Witness". Think of the mv's less as a trilogy (there WILL be a third one and most likely an Epilogue, before we move on to the next set) but more of an Arc, or a chapter of a book. All of Ateez's music videos are connected in some way. You were talking about wanting to see the scarecrow to come to life, it actually represents the "Black Pirates," or as we commonly call them "Halateez." Halateez first appear in the music videos HalaHala (hence the name) and Say My Name which are a part of Ateez second album. They show up in various music videos and even appear in live stages for special occasions. Halateez are the doppelgangers of Ateez. Ateez's storyline thus far takes place in two universes, Universe A (The home of Ateez) and Universe Z (The home of HalaTeez). The different album Arcs represent different points in the story line. The Treasure Arc (The first Arc of Ateez) represents the meeting of Ateez and Halateez. The Fever Arc takes place in Universe A and gives the beginning of Ateez (it is the prequel to the Treasure Arc), and The World Arc is taking place in Universe Z and Ateez is taking over for the black pirates. To understand the World Arc better you should check out certain trailers in videos that fill in some blanks of what is going on: (I am actually skipping a lot here, but these mv's probably help the most) (Treasure Arc) Say My Name MV Halahala MV Answer MV (The Fever Arc, but something makes an appearance, movement and spin off refer to things here)) ATEEZ(에이티즈) ZERO : FEVER Part.1 'Diary Film' Official Video Fireworks (I'm the one) MV Deja Vu MV (Spin-off) ATEEZ(에이티즈) - SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS Prologue Halazia MV goes here ATEEZ(에이티즈) - SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS Epilogue (The World Arc) 07.29 WAKE UP, THE WORLD ATEEZ(에이티즈) THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT Official Trailer 1 ATEEZ(에이티즈) THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT Official Trailer 2 ATEEZ(에이티즈) - 'Guerrilla' Official MV Teaser 1 Guerrilla MV goes here =====>Spin off (Halazia) was released here but isnt directly connected to the world songs, just same universe diff timeline
They are in a universe where emotions are squashed, and they are using their music to break free // This song is so emotional and elicits so much feeling and excitement watching them. ATEEZ puts everything into their performances, and it shows. Hope you check out some MONSTA X -- their music is so good and like little movies (Love Killa, Gambler) -- Also check out Alligator and Rush Hour by them and Beautiful Liar -- they have 2 of the best rappers in KPOP in I.M. & JooHoney. Not totally sure of the order for ATTEEZ but Hala Hala, Say My Name & Guerrilla are before this.
For some added context, the reactor Jordan Orme is a video editor reactor and he does a really good show explaining the storyline when be does his reaction if you wanna check him out. He always notices things I miss.
Okay so firstly I want to say thank you so much for reacting to our boys, secondly about the order of the music videos, because they haven’t released all of the storyline yet it’s hard to know what order they go in so far, Ateez have a gigantic storyline that is very interesting, if you’re interested in learning more about the storyline I recommend watching the trailers for the music vids as well since they include extra context such as the world ep 1 trailers that were released a few days before guerrilla was dropped, as well as their diary fever film (the diary film is much more important for understanding the storyline) I’d love to see your reactions to entire albums because their b sides are my fav 🤍
Thank you for reacting to ATEEZ. Okay technically the order is Guerrilla, Bouncy, and HALAZIA. Granted HALAZIA is on the Spin Off: From the Witness album, which is not part of the World Series, where Guerrilla and Bouncy serve as title tracks for episode 1: Movement and episode 2: outlaw respectively. If you are really interested in learning about the lore and these chapters of the story then I recommend doing an album listen to their albums The World Ep.1: Movement and The World Ep.2: Outlaw; as the albums together tell a full story. ATEEZ also released the following trailer before dropping the Guerrilla MV: ua-cam.com/video/MXlPrPBylB4/v-deo.html Then dropped this trailer before Bouncy: ua-cam.com/video/moU0czf12rI/v-deo.html Finally they released both a Prologue (ua-cam.com/video/hiNMuSOFDZY/v-deo.html) video for the HALAZIA MV and an Epilogue video (ua-cam.com/video/AtcvzYO5D6o/v-deo.html) ATEEZ lore runs deep technically they have been telling a story since their very first MV and it extends far past these videos; but I think checking out these videos and their two most recent Korean albums then at the very least you have more context around these three MVs that you watched.
If you’re still reacting to kpop, I recommend crazy form by ateez. It’s a continuation of bouncy. If you also haven’t heard LALALALA by stray kids I recommend that song AND they have a rock version of the same song that’s very high on my list for that album
ATEEZ's storyline involves 2 universes: A and Z. In universe A they're a modern take on pirates (treasure-seekers). In universe Z, their alter-egos, the Halateez (often portrayed in black clothes and fedoras), live in a dystopian world where they are fighting against their government which has banned all forms of art and anything that invokes emotion because they know emotionless people are easier to control. They travel between universes with a special hourglass called the Cromer. Here's a list of the videos I recommend for the three songs you've watched including storyline vids in order of their release: The World EP 1: Movement ATEEZ The World Movement Trailer 1 ua-cam.com/video/O7Tc4sW2gho/v-deo.html ATEEZ The World Movement Trailer 2 ua-cam.com/video/MXlPrPBylB4/v-deo.html Guerrilla MV ua-cam.com/video/2HcVZm_4qAI/v-deo.html Spin-off From the Witness Halazia Prologue ua-cam.com/video/hiNMuSOFDZY/v-deo.html Halazia MV ua-cam.com/video/SszP3hlQ55Y/v-deo.html Halazia Epilogue ua-cam.com/video/AtcvzYO5D6o/v-deo.html The World EP 2: Outlaw Trailer ua-cam.com/video/moU0czf12rI/v-deo.html&feature=share7 Bouncy (K-Hot Chilli Peppers) MV ua-cam.com/video/U0G5OA6ZH5w/v-deo.html&feature=share7
I’m a few days late but you just came across my recommended. I see ATEEZ, I watch 😂 (it’s pronounced A-tease or like A to Z) So here’s the thing.. ATEEZ’s storyline/lore is super in depth, super deep, and super confusing. It spans 4 years so far and it’s almost impossible to know which actual order to watch their videos in to get a chronological order of the storyline progressing. We can only make our best guesses. I saw one of the commenters doing their best and they did a pretty good job. They left out quite a few music videos, including ATEEZ’s performances on the show Kingdom. Every single video they have released is part of the storyline. It basically boils down to this - ATEEZ were time traveling pirates (Treasure albums) who were visited by their doppelgängers from another universe to help free their world from the oppressive government (Fever albums). ATEEZ says “hell yeah”. Together ATEEZ and their doppelgängers come up with a plan and start putting it into action (The World albums). The most important piece to the puzzle of their story is the hourglass that you see in their videos. They call it a “chromer” and it’s what let’s them travel between their world to their doppelgängers world. …more in reply
To recap - they start out as time traveling pirates, to dimensional traveling pirates, to straight up outlaw’s on the run. You talked about their sound a lot. You noticed all the different genres in one song and that’s pretty much what they’re known for. They take inspiration from every form of music from all around the world then make it their own. It ranges from hardcore (Guerrilla) to slow jams (STAR 1117) and literally everything in between. They have a few songs that are more k-poppy (Eternal Sunshine, Wave, THANXX). But for the most part they don’t actually fit the kpop standard and because they’re different they’ve had a hard time breaking into the mainstream of the industry. They’re hardcore performers! You should really, really watch some of their live performances. Their energy and dance is next level. The live performances of Guerrilla and Wonderland are insane.
Now that I’ve said all that, as fans of rock/metal/emo, check out Xdinary Heroes. Specifically “Happy Death Day” and “Haircut”. They’re a k-rock band and incredibly talented!
If you liked ATEEZ's songs, listen to Dreamcatcher's songs as well. ATEEZ and Dreamcatcher share composers. If you are interested, I recommend Dreamcatcher's SCREAM.
It's like Marvel, you gotta watch after the credit! Love your reaction!❤
Even if you are a rap fan, you can appreciate the amazing vocals of our boys! We have the best vocalist in the KPOP industry!
I’m here for all ATEEZ reactions! They tick all my boxes! No matter what KPOP group I hear, I always go back to ATEEZ. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I recommend reacting to dreamcatcher, they are pioneers in mixing rock/metal with kpop...curiously the same producers as ateez are theirs.
