It is so WONDERFUL to see a young family of 3 thriving in a truly traveling tiny home. I get amazed every time I see this show that how sustainable living is so good for enhancing our relationship with our loved ones. The kind of upbringing this kid is getting making me envious to be a kid again and live her life. And she would definitely grow up to be an amazing personality with a great childhood as her legacy. Love this show❤️🙏
I could see this sweet space as a weekend travel home or a home for a sabbatical year of travel. Very well designed for that, especially the deck design. I think the home is limited for long term living for a family of three, but it surely meets their needs now and is giving them an opportunity to explore the world.

It looked nice for 1-2 people But the kid looked like an afterthought with the mattress on the floor next to the bed and I would have added a lot more storage

OK I just found something that I have got to put on my tiny house... and that was that slide in deck... That has got to be one of the coolest things that I've seen. I think I can do that... I'm in a fricken wheelchair but I think I can still do that...
Yes you can! I've seen retractables like that with silicone glides that pull very smoothly. I'm 71 with an awkward leg that I challenge constantly. Think of that wheelchair as a planet in orbit, not a confinement.
Dear Bryce and Rasa, I started watching your channel last fall 2019 to combat some insomnia. LOL. It has since become one of my favorite pastimes. We humans are so clever when we use our hearts and minds together. This couple is wonderful. Live more than the dream, LIVE YOUR LIFE. God bless them. I have since segued into van life channels, VERY interesting. I am 66 and my husband is 77. I feel as though I've gone back to college. Still so much I can learn. I just retired in 2018 and have rediscovered an old passion. Van life has rekindled my gypsy spirit. We have a lovely small (1000 sq ft) sticks and bricks in Pennsylvania/USA. And now I am planning my third act. Inexpensive travel and my little home. YES with good planning it doesn't have to cost a fortune. THANK-YOU so much. I'm so pleased I subscribed last year. The Pandemic HAS made us adjust. Change is the only constant in life. That said, I'm so excited to see how things turn out.( i have also subscribed to two vanlife channnels. Who knew. Cathy! You seem so awesome, and like you must have lots of cool stories to tell. To see you rediscovering all these dreams for your retirement is BEYOND AMAZING. I'm so excited and proud for you!
Really nice family and home. Still, there are two things that came to my mind: I dont think its quite sustainable to constantly drive around in a huge pickup truck and carrying a 3 tonnes trailer. I guess from an emissions perspective its quite bad. Not meant as an accusation because the family doesnt mention this. Just a general remark because the tiny house community generally perceives itself as a form a sustaiable and eco-friendly way of life. And second: I guess it might be quite hard for her daughter to build up friendships to peers when they are in different places every few days. So it might be an interesting way of life for a short period of time, but what happens when she wants to build up her own social life apart from her parents?
I agree. How many miles a month do they travel? Those emissions would certainly cancel out being off grid. There is a sparseness that I find offputting. I couldn't look at those bare walls every night. However the lack of junk is a very good thing.
Gummmibaer - A large number of those who live fulltime in traveling tiny homes, vans, RVs and skoolies often move only every two or three weeks. Sometimes the distance is just a few miles (or in the U.S. on BLM lands, a few hundred yards). That significantly reduces emissions and the use of fossil fuels. With regards to socialization: Full-time vanlifers (includes vans, RVs, skoolies and tiny homes) have vibrant digital social networks, large in-person gatherings, sometimes travel convoy-style for a few weeks and often schedule meet-ups with two or three families. There are many UA-cam channels created by full-time traveler families and all address the issue of companionship for the children, which is actual not an issue!
Oh sheesh! Yeah, I'm sure living in a large house packed with manufactured products (that all came from emissions producing factories) driving 2 cars to work every day would be waayyyyy more eco friendly!
I always wonder in situations like this how the parents find time to be intimate with one another without awkward questions from the kid, hahah. It's important!!
I loved how Bryce tried to ask about it all subtly with "How do you find family life?" and they totally didn't answer! At least, that's how I interpreted it ;)
How do you think humans managed for thousands of years prior to the 1900s? It's been human history to sleep together in a single room for far, far longer than it has been the trend to isolate in individual spaces - and children have always been born lol
I been waiting to see how someone could design a more full time traveling tiny home while taking on the design challenge considering weight, maneuverability and ease of towing /aerodynamics.
The tiny house looks really cool and I love the design.❤ I admire them for being able to live in such a small space with a kid. I hope they will see as much beautiful places as possible.🤗

David you do know New Zealand is the closest country in the world to Antarctica right? Which also means that moving north would put them closer to the equator... 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I grew up in a tiny house, my neighbors tiny house was beautifully squeezed on top of ours and there were people squashed to left and right of us. It's called the Projects! The government encouraged us to embrace the tiny house movement! So tranquil and wonderful.
If you grow up in the Projects, at some point you have to stop being a victim, stop blaming the government for providing you with housing, and pursue life elsewhere. Getting a job is the first start.
This is a beautiful tiny home, I love the simplicity of it. No junk sitting around, just clean and simple, yet has everything they need except maybe laundry. The toilet tucking away is pure genius. Love that this family doesn't have to climb a ladder to get into their loft bedroom. It's great seeing a whole family living so simple, just goes to show what you can do. Such a wonderful and cool family and I'm totally in awe of them.
It’s a good adventure for all of you. Your daughter is small so she’ll remember this better if you take lots of pics and go over them a often to reinforce the memories. I was surprised by how little is remembered when your 3. But revisiting in pics is really helpful..
Loved this uncluttered Tiny House. Nice to see they live well and also minimally. They can sleep, shower, poo and cook. Besides they have the entire country as a garden. Great couple with a pretty kid. Wish them all the best.
This video filled me with so much warmth. The design of this house is genius, I’ve seen people tuck a toilet in a cupboard before but not in this way. I loved the toilet roll holder on the inside of the door too! I love that they’ve captured just what you need inside your home to be comfortable, and the rest is down to where they go.
Although I love watching these tiny house videos and I fantasize about doing it myself one day, I can see there would be a lot of problems living like this, with kids. Eventually that girl is going to hit her teens and things would get very crowded and awkward. I have 3 kids so the tiny house thing is off the cards for me but when everyone is grown up and moved out, I would like to do this.
You are absolutely right, middle to old age is when going tiny makes perfect sense. Sell off everything & go tiny. With kids it will always be a challenge especially with their education & also privacy issues.
I love this Channel! I had never heard of tiny houses on wheels until about 6 months ago when I found this and I watch this channel every week now and I've never been but New Zealand looks beautiful. Thanks!
Thanks again Bryce and Rasa...what a cute tiny house and what a lovely family...Tilly looks so happy and what child wouldn't want to have a new playground each time they travel to a new place...also she gets to camp out on the floor each night 😍...such a lovely house I especially love the lounge/bedroom area that large window over the bar...the deck is amazing but for me the best thing is the toilet which slides away...thanks again stay safe xo 💜
Love this episode! Really great seeing new surprises, to be that tiny and be completely off grid I can tell where the money went. It is amazing engineering gotta give mad respect to the builder. I wish he was also interviewed to ask the challenges of something like this, couldn’t have been easy.
Love this house and this family! This channel is just the best. It’s always been a warm light in dark times for me and I’m so appreciative of the work you guys do!
😊😊👍 Enjoying and realising (during this quarantine) that how little resources we actually need for a perfectly normal life. That's why I have started to think tiny house living is very much possible without much sacrificing.
I love this home SO much, but even more, I love that this couple have made their family a priority; minimising their belongings and working hours so they can maximise time together ❤
I'm in a 10x11 foot room I've outfitted to do minimal cooking and my artwork, daybed sofa, miniherb garden windowbox, and making it work. My neighborhood has three park areas all safely walkable for excersize. And, in lockdown about the only thing I truly miss are my pub-draft treats, but I usually do alternating dry/draft weeks anyway, so it's not been hard. I might not be on wheels but may as well be!
Bryce I can't describe how much I love this show! There are other shows that are jumping on the tiny house bandwagon that lack the quality that you bring to your videos. I'm so glad that you do what you do.
Hello 👋,I love all the content of ur video, since I subscribe this living in a tiny house it’s really unstoppable tempting to watch all your videos 😂,but anyway it’s a good 💡and amazing family’s out there in New Zealand, stay safe everyone ❤️
I really wish to live in a tiny house some day! Your videos have inspired me to think of tiny living as an option! My only trouble is is that I live in Ontario and by what I’ve seen, we aren’t so tiny house friendly 😔
Life Goals! To travel To be with family all the time To be able to work from home And to have a wardrobe that can fit in a drawer! As of now I can fit all our clothes and files in 8 under the bed storage containers. Time to reduce again. Too many t-shirts that I don't use and black dresses.
Love the house, love the channel, and the well-structured videos, all of them - but, shaking hands and not wearing masks looks so pre-corona. We should all trys and get used to the Asian greeting with hands put together in front of the chest and a little bow, for example.
It is pre-corona. He mentioned a couple (maybe three) weeks ago that they had some houses already filmed that still needed editing. None of these episodes was filmed the same week that we see them. Editing takes time and all their videos are well edited.
🥰🥰🥰 I ADORE this tiny house! I love how open it feels, with the large windows and the minimal storage. I totally understand the need for storage, but so many tiny house feel closed in, packed to the gills with storage. I’m impressed that three people live here with this storage. Thank you for sharing your home! And thanks for asking about the sustainability piece. Like you said, it really is about a lifestyle. I love seeing tiny homes, but I love learning about the lifestyle just as much, how different people make it work and how they live. Another great video.
I feel it’s good to build a tiny house on wheel in a place where nature comforts you everytime you are outside of your home and that’s the best of New Zealand’s landscape.❤️ from the 🇵🇭
Your recent episodes are a breath of fresh air, from a different world, where people had freedom to travel and spend time outdoors. It also kind of makes me want to cry.
For $70K you could have bought an amazing caravan with loads of storage space, bigger fridge, larger kitchen etc. I've lived in a 21ft caravan and could not imagine living in this 16 ft space. To each his own, but this just would not be workable for me. (Where do they eat in winter? What kind of heating do they have?)
Are you talking about a wobbly caravan that rocks when the wind blows? Or has to be heated at sunset because the skin is poorly insulated? One of those caravans with the tiny shower? With a door that a grown man can kick in? Been there, done that. I'd stay in a tiny home any day.
Wow, such lovely home and family! I wouldn't want to live in in full time but it seems perfect for travel. Great video as always, just what we need now. So calm and amazing.

If you grow up in the Projects, at some point you have to stop being a victim, stop blaming the government for providing you with housing, and pursue life elsewhere. Getting a job is the first start.
amazing T house 😍
And for a child that is already adventurous, I see great things for her ahead...awesome tiny, awesome family...!
Milkweed Dreams that’s what I was thinking, she would have so much fun traveling around, it would be great to get out and explore
That slide out deck is awesome. I've never seen that before.
May be in the minority but I’m not a fan of this tiny home, especially for a child. Just seems cold and empty to me. That’s just my opinion.
I love how simple this tiny home is. An awning maybe a good addition for their deck. Lovely family.
They don't have laundry in the tiny home, but do visit laundromats often!
Another great episode!
Tilly is a blessed kid to be growing up with such a loving and adventurous family.
The composting toilet you can hide is such a great idea...If you can't separate it from the room where you take a shower. At least.
The stove is my favourite feature, it actually has a cover over the panels which is genius omg!
It’s a good adventure for all of you. Your daughter is small so she’ll remember this better if you take lots of pics and go over them a often to reinforce the memories. I was surprised by how little is remembered when your 3. But revisiting in pics is really helpful..
Happiness is inversely proportional to size of the house.
Loved this uncluttered Tiny House.
Nice to see they live well and also
minimally. They can sleep, shower,
poo and cook. Besides they have
the entire country as a garden.
With kids it will always be a challenge especially with their education & also privacy issues.
wont be doing much traveling at the moment :(
Nope, but there will be travel again in the future!
I love this Channel! I had never heard of tiny houses on wheels until about 6 months ago when I found this and I watch this channel every week now and I've never been but New Zealand looks beautiful. Thanks!
Thanks so much and thanks for watching our videos!
Living Big In A Tiny House I can’t stop watching😆
my no 1 favourite country in the world, and that's from an Aussie (Big Islander, lol)
Qué casa más bella y funcional! Realmente, dan ganas de vivir en ella. Gracias por compartir! Saludos desde México! 🇲🇽❤️
It’s awesome how they’re able to live a fully nomadic lifestyle. Wish this lovely family safe travels!
How do you do the dirty when you daughter is on the floor next to you every single night?!
Silent sex....
Love this! I think it’s an amazing lifestyle that they’ve created for themselves. Kudos to them for taking the punt and bucking the norm!
Hey Bryce! Absolutely love Love LOVE your videos! You gave me my tiny house dream! Thank you so much! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! So glad you're enjoying the videos.
😊😊👍 Enjoying and realising (during this quarantine) that how little resources we actually need for a perfectly normal life. That's why I have started to think tiny house living is very much possible without much sacrificing.
Don't remember seeing a sliding toilet before! What a brilliant idea!
Very inspiring Bryce, another wonderful Vlog thanks Tony
I love this home SO much, but even more, I love that this couple have made their family a priority; minimising their belongings and working hours so they can maximise time together ❤
Nice but It would suck to have to quarantine in this with 2 other people lol
They could make it somewhere off grid where they can enjoy outside and still be isolated.
They're with family in a house at the moment. It's not impossible - I'm doing it now with my husband in a studio apartment!
Always your videos inspiration of my chabel
Oh, jadi dapet referensi nya dari sini ya bang
What a sweet family and an amazing childhood they are providing for their daughter. Bravo!!
These guys are amazing. I love their videos. They inspire me to continue doing home tours.
This tiny house is amazing ❤❤❤❤. Greetings coming from Suriname 🇸🇷 in South America
I love the time they're able to give to their daughter, their family and all the adventures they can experience Together!!!
Aha! Tilly, you've got a nice book there. Ten Chirpy Chicks ^_^
I like it 👍...needs a rolling a awning for the deck.
I'm a huge fan of yours, i enjoy your videos tremendously. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. This is a beautiful tiny house
I like the look of this tiny. NZ is the perfect place to travel on the road. The little girl is so lucky :)
Pretty awesome! Great job guys!
Life Goals!
To travel
To be with family all the time
To be able to work from home
And to have a wardrobe that can fit in a drawer!
I'm just dropping from one 'wow' into another. I love the aesthetic of this house. That kitchen! ❤️
Every one of your episodes is a mini vacation for me! Thank you. Amazing. ❤️
That's a very nice travel size tiny house !
That sliding away toilet is a brilliant idea, it saves up so much spaces by not having a toilet just sitting there and taking up space.
I simply don't understand how they going to educate the child... School? If they going around like this...
Prema Nair Homeschool is an option perhaps.
Hi Karen, maybe....
@@wabuu7013 Yes, I personally feel it's unfair for the child...
How's the laundry done?
Laundrettes
super cool channel i am Sub to you cheers :D more tiny houses Yes
I feel it’s good to build a tiny house on wheel in a place where nature comforts you everytime you are outside of your home and that’s the best of New Zealand’s landscape.❤️ from the 🇵🇭
this is super minimal but everything needed . the slideaway porch is an awesome idea . NZ has some of the Best lite Tinys in the world 🖤🤙🏾
1:30. " Amy-Lee". * looks up Amy Lee. finds the one from Evanescence band. " crap" xD Jk. Thanks for the video.
It's so nice as a way of living, but I Always wish to see the whole house before going to the details or chatting About it.😑
Cool house CJ is a baller. Designed his life, living it now.
I just need this lifestyle..great job in your home. And the best your beautiful daughter seems very happy!
Yoyoyo I been watching these videos for 4 hours straight (with snacks)
Your recent episodes are a breath of fresh air, from a different world, where people had freedom to travel and spend time outdoors. It also kind of makes me want to cry.
Very inspiring! Great to see Wairarapa builder Tiny by Taylor featured on your channel.
A beautiful family - beautiful home amazing freedom! I loved that they realised there is so much to experience in your own country! 🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕
Tilly is so lucky, hope this helps her grow up to have good mental health
How do you write an address while filling out a form?
This is too small for when your daughter grows. NO privacy!
its for adventure not for future plan.
I literally tear up in every episode cuz the message is so beautiful
