I recently came across the mention of this runway show on instagram, and I must say, I was expecting alot more. The way it was described I was expecting all the dresses to to be pieced together to make one dress, where parts of each dress is shown in the final piece. They basically just stacked a whole bunch of dresses on top of eachother. Not impressed in the least. Their spring 2025" art piece" show/collection is much more innovative/creative. They've definately come a long way.
Small minded people will always be stuck in a repetitive bore. Fashion is evolving get over it. There are still RTW shows but the runway is a place to express ones vision. Respect their work, they are out of the box not limited to small minded critics.
This is couture and yes sometimes couture dress can be torture they are design for artistry not necessarily for consumers to buy but on the other side the clothes are easy to wear because of the certain closure like zippers and button put in the right place were you can only slide them and zip and zip them easily as soon as you take them off
Not about that here, but it shows well that you don't need a lot of money when you have ideas, real creativity. Even if to make these garments took a good amount of money and time
15:23 Only one more minute...I can't do it. Imma get the check right when the show end and my photos are gonna blow up at vogue. Patient, patient, PATIENT
but maggie got her check! even with so many layers i think i would’ve fallen off that tiny platform! this was definitely one of the highlights of maggie’s career
i would like to ask them, "where do you get the personality of the person who actually wears your clothes" so much obsession with the garment and the construction, it looks like a museum piece rather than a fashion show... i suppose you dont go to viktor and rolf boutiques to stare at clothes... but to buy them... BUHHHHHHHHHHH
pathetic... it's like a bad movie... "why did my clothes ate me". jesus... it's boring, repetitive and i would be a sleep at the third piece... come on
Maggie Rizer, iconic performance ever!
So delightfully weird and wonderful! The last coat is actually very cool. I could see their being brought down to human proportions and being cool.
Viktor&Rolf first couture collection ,the model was Maggie Reiser
soooo different and amazing why we dont have such a good show these days?
Because it needs actual ideas, creativity and work
She probably was thinking in her head, "When the fuck can I go home? I'm burning in these mother fucking dresses."

Fact! So sick of fashion haters who don’t understand haute couture and have never asked the questions in order to find out why it exists!

I love the dainty shoes
Yay a pair that isn't meant for fire wood.
They just saved their money by not hiring more models to wear their masterpiece...
They didn't have the money back then, this was their solution..
Love it
