How well can it be sculpted? What happens when it's freeze-dried and then rehydrated? How much will it expand in a vacuum? Can you use it like a skipping-rope if you have enough? What does it taste like with all the flavors mixed together? (at least all you can get a hold of anyway) and so on...

You can “set” the dye using a mild acid, like vinegar. That’s how Easter egg dye kits work, and how you dye natural fibers.
