Heart At Work: Specialty Pharmacist Kendra nurtures patients and their loved ones

As a Specialty Pharmacist in Washington, D.C., #TeamCVS colleague Kendra Merida Pineda provides medication to patients with complex, rare and sometimes devastating conditions. Beyond supporting patients, pharmacists like Kendra go the extra mile to support patients’ families and caregivers, too, who often take on taxing roles to care for their loved ones. That’s why when the health of her patient’s husband was deteriorating because of his caregiver role, Kendra coordinated meals and home care services to help ease the burden.
