At one of my high school class reunions, the reunion committee sent out a questionnaire for favorite tunes from our era ( the 60s) because they were hiring a band that specialized in oldies. When it got down to the Beatles, I answered that I had two -- In My Life and This Boy. It just so happened that one of my classmates played bass in the band. After their break, he pointed to me and nodded and they played both of them. Thanks for your dedication to the 60s, Ladies.

I've heard the studio recorded version you did years ago when you were given a guitar as a present. That version was absolutely incredible! So when I saw the UA-cam notification of you doing it 'live' at the Cavern Club, I was very eager to hear how you'd do it live! The answer is you blew my mind with how awesome the performance was. The harmonies; the tone and expression. Wonderful singing. A Splendacious performance!! ⭐⭐⭐

The passion and longing they have injected into their wonderful version this song just makes your heart melt... So beautiful in every way. Oh to have seen them in person! A fantastic album. 🙂
Charming cover, as always! You capture the melancholy beauty of the song and make it feel complete though you're only doing 2 parts compared to the Beatles' original 3 part harmony. The added solo has a wonderful guitar tone, and what a nice harmony to close out the song. Bravo once again!
Hello my MLT! And everyone in the club! As most would know, I had my Brother react to the unboxing studio recording of this clasic. I do things that bring back memories I have had. When I hear this song, I think of me at 5,6,and 7. In the Waukegan, IL area, where I was born in the bars. Yes, my mother at that time was a functional Alcoholic single from my abusive natural father working as a police/fire dispatcher and danced to Jazz in a Burlesque show. Back then, I had an extreme speech impediment and was pigeon toed. An odd duck for sure. I would get my Shirley Temple drink and play the Juke box till I ran out of dimes. Then, I'd walk around the bar talking to adults getting more dimes. Lol The best speech therapy I ever had. This song performed my my MLT just puts me back in that space. In the bars. Loved this performance too. I have played the Carvern Club lives going down the road for a long time. It never grows old. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. Stay Groovy! 🍻🤘❤️
