- Times where Jimin and Jungkook broke gender stereotypes ⚥
------ This video was edited back on October 2020, so it's fair to say I've missed a few things that happened since then, sorry 😢 but let me name a few significant things that come to mind after that: the most important one being the beautiful black swan duo performance, them wearing increasingly higher heels as of late, and an apartment/house reportedly being bought in a known LGBTQ+ place, among others small things. Let me know if there's something else major you feel I've left out :)
***Just to be clear, I'm not trying to label jikook as LGBTQ+ or bigender / genderless / non-binary, rather I'm simply showing their apparent support to it, through what it might seem like small gestures, but to a person that is part of these communities (such as myself) it can be very comforting to know, I hope this video has comforted you as well ♥

When jimin was talking about how desperate he was to appear manly during the beginning of their career, i actually can remember all those moments where he used to be so eager to seem manly. I'm so glad he figured out he doesn't have to be "manly" like and just be himself. Ugh i love jimin TT
The thing is he still is naturally manly (not "macho"), like his oh so sexy walk, without forcing it..He still loves all his martial arts, sports, stunts, hip-hop>as well as contemporary dance/ballet + is very smart, not just cute-sey, etc..He's ALWAYS been amazing with all the amazing different sides of him, he just needed to realize/accept it..He is gorgeous inside + out💜💜

Prince once was asked why he wears the heels, ruffles and makeup. He said "because the women like it." He was right HE looked dang good in all that! So does Jimin! You can put anything on these guys and they will kill it! Jimin even once said he feels cute in womens clothes. I just love them all. People should just wear what they want.

I’ve always loved that part. He’s so emotionally intelligent and self aware. For him to come to a place where he’s being his true self and is comfortable regardless of societal pressures is such a beautiful thing

In the natural world it is usually the male of the species that is the most colorful. Why shouldn't a man wear makeup and clothes that make him feel sensual? Women have been wearing men's clothes forever and no one fusses. Whats wrong with a man wanting softer fabrics against his skin.Whether it's denim and cotton or silk and satin. If it feels good on the body....wear it.

knowing that my idols support my community is so sweet and comforting: them supporting lgbtq by recommending artists or wearing pride clothes, breaking gender roles and stereotypes, accepting themselves and showing love to us makes me really happy.

Jimin is the reason I love bts now!! I known their group since there debut bcoz of jimin abs got viral on twitter.. but I was not interested anymore to know who's that boy who showed his ABS on their debut.. or even bother their group name.. fast forward December 2020 at the lowest point of my life I got time to know them and watch them.. I got inspired by JIMIN!! He's being neutral gender fascinates me that he can be feminine and masculine at the same time.. the way he becomes feminine is not a gayest feminine it's a real girl feminine and I never seen it to the other men like that.. whatever happens I will be one of the person to protect this guy!!

as a person who supports lgbtq+ community and also is a tomboy (genderless clothes), i feel so comforted knowing that my favorite artists also actively supports all of this 🥺 i can relate to jimin because i used to try so hard to be more feminine and delicate, either than being myself, so happy i got to be more confident with myself!!

I love them so much! Fashion is art, make-up is art and art is genderless. So many people I showed BTS to were like "They look like women" (especially Jimin) as if being feminine is a negative thing. Also, no they don't. I never questioned any of their genders, despite them wearing feminine clothing or make-up, because I think fashion and looks shouldn't be linked to a gender. Jimin doesn't look like a woman (or a man), he looks like Jimin. And he's beautiful. I don't know why some people are so uncomfortable with others loving and feeling themselves and expressing themselves through art.
I was once asked if I ever thought of wanting to be a man because I shopped cardigans in the men's section. No, I never did - these cardigans are just a lot more comfortable than "women's" cardigans. Honestly, who the hell cares if the piece of fabric you're wearing was sold in the men's section or women's section? It's just that - a piece if cloth.

This has to be one of them most balanced view of Jikook I have seen other than the ones they published themselves. It provokes thought and gives a sense of how people can feel when they are labelled and criticised for the choices they make and what this does to them regardless of who they are and what they do.What I particularly love about these guys is how they are using the world stage on which they stand to support people and change the world in which we all live. I think we could all be so much braver.Its also clear how much better they are especially Jimin that he now feels he can be himself. Army's have stood behind BTS maybe its time to help them change the world.

I love this video. I find so much comfort in the fact that jimin can now be who he is authentically and is no longer trying so hard to be "manly" not that there is anything wrong with being manly or wanting to appear manly. I just remember feeling so sympathic with how hard he was trying back then but I am so happy now that he can be himself and be the happiest version of himself. Jimin inspired me to be myself too and not try so hard to be something that isn't who I am. Without this kind of support and influence in my life i don't know if i would have ever truly embraced or come to the realization i had in 2020 about myself and i wouldn't be the happiest I've been in a long time. Thank you jimin for being you and inspiring me to be me too. I'm m so proud him and I wish him all the happiness as well as the rest of bts💜💜💜

Beautiful video. It is a comfort that Jimin has found self love and comfort in his own skin. I hope he found that he is not alone in his reality of seeing himself “different” from the masculine expectation. I love how he and Jk have come together as a team to represent other points of view even if they themselves are not part of LGBTQ community. Through fashion, style, and advocacy they are lending a positive voice to a new generation.
My belief is someone made a rule about what clothes & accessories a male or female wear, and we follow the rules. It is very limiting to not wear what identify what we truly feel inside of ourselves. Clothes are expressions of who we are. Not someone else want us to be!

I was indiferent to lgbt, but JIKOOK made me turn around, now I see them so normal, no difference between hetereo, or maybe yes, the diference isbthat teir love is so unique, so, so, I dont even find the words to describe it, I never thought I will think this way and respect their relashionship and envy this beutiful love. I know this is a Jikook video and I love them to death but Yoongi is also a huge LGBTQ+ advocate. He has also said that what he looks for in a future partner is not gender but personality.
I always find it interesting that when we see Jikook moments and Yoongi is there he gives almost no reaction. Taehyung is a Jikook instigator, Hobi is a cheerleader, Jin often does the Jin-down (if there is ever a moment he will almost always look down at the floor-not saying he’s not ok with it but it’s probably an unconscious reaction) and Namjoon keeps everything from getting out of control.

I believe the hyungs love them both and probably had a hard time accepting their baby being pursued by Jimin at first. It could have ruined the whole group if things went wrong. Jimin was 19 and JK 17 so still not of age. I think they probably told Jimin “you can have anyone in this world, just not Jk”. But the heart doesn’t play fair or by anyone’s rules. Jimin over time has shown Jk the utmost of love and respect. They grew as performers, friends, family. JK said himself that he watches Jimin and learns from him. He would die rather than cause grief or harm to JK. Now that they are older, JK appears to be the dominant and I read someone called Jimin a “power bottom”. Their dynamic is enviable. What dreams are made of. Even if it turns out to be all an act, they have shown others how it can be done.

I love this video! But I do have one correction as I study Latin- an adj being feminine is not necessarily mean referring to a female, in language it’s more of a way of classifying words. It still means temptation and can definitely refer to a female temptress however! Just wanted to clear it up slightly. This is a wonderful video, keep up the great work and have a great day!

It is always important to love yourself first. And accept others second without judgment. Everyone is created equal, there should be no biases based on race, religion, gender or sensuality. BTS is a great example of being non judgmental and loving others as you want them to love you. However you don't know how you want to be loved unless you love yourself first, so we are back at the start. Love Yourself first so you can be non judgmental to others and inspire love from your neighbors. Which in turn will return love to you for your kindness.

This was a great video! While I am not from the LGBTQ+ community, they live deeply within my heart. I have numerous family and friends who do belong to the community and I do feel for what they must endure from ignorant, narrow-minded humans. I didn't know Jungkookie wears women's perfume though. I did however not get how JK wearing hanbok had anything to do with breaking gender stereotypes though and I think the music audio was a bit high so it was hard to hear the voices, I just wanted to point that out if you do an updated version.

I really like that you put in the video that you're not trying to label them. Even I who always been open with not being straight don't like it when others put labels on me when it comes to sexuality and gender, if they know I'm not straight it's ok to say that but labeling it as anything I rather they leave up to me and JK and JM we don't know anthing about what they are, want and feel comfortable with so I think it's better to stick with facts and leave defining it up to them.
