The saturn on Mariposa's pajamas is the exact same as in Star (alternate universe version in Ludo's episode with the magic bell) cheekmarks.

Meteora doesn't remember anything, this is more like the aggressive version of Avatar The Last Airbender's "some friendships transcend lifetimes" or Adventure Time's thing where Finn and Jake's past lives always teamed up.

I feel like they are emphasising on Eclipsa’s spell just to foreshadow that it may be used to defeat Mina, since she is pretty much indestructible...
Theory: Mewmins need to use the wand or a alternative source of magic in order to “jump start” their magic. Those with “pure” butterfly blood can only learn via the wand as well.
This isn't really a theory but proven canon. I'll add that most everyone can magic with the wand
Always thought that was the case with mewmins and possible humans, but their is one exception, Meteora the only one who never held the wand but was able to use magic.

@@mikhailthegreatestdragon3627 Like you said in a early comment most everyone can use magic with the wands, we see this with Ludo and Marco, and we know all the queens of mewni use the wand, and some of them learn how to use magic without the wands, but the difference in Meterora is she learn to use magic without it. star on the other hands did use the wand, a lot, basically on a daily bases. so i don't think we can compare Star to Meterora.
@@moutray77 The thing with Meteora is that she is not a normal being. She is a hybrid between Mewman and Monster. That and with Glossarycks training, she might have an easier time dipping down and using magic on her own. We have also seen her use magic before she became a baby (her souls sucking laser which she also uses when she is a baby against Toffee).
Mariposa has a name meaning "Butterfly" because Marco's parents named her after Star. That's all there is to it.
As for how the babies got through the portal, Meteora can climb up walls. She could've simply climbed into Mariposa's crib, and Mariposa rode on her back while they went through the portal.

I noticed that too! It might be a small thing, but it is very similar to Star’s - even when she walks it flows behind her like young Moon’s hair and Star’s.

The elf dude's design reminds me a lot of Ail and Ann from Season 2 of Sailor Moon
I caught the mariposa thing right away, and I immediately thought my theory about the Diaz family somehow being related to the Butterfly family might have some merit. And considering that Marco and Star make the promise that both girls will still grow up together establishes that the continued contact between the two families is assured. So even if Marco returns to Earth for good, he will still have that connection to Mewnie and to Star through that promise.

The fact that Mariposa and Meteroa (sorry for my bad spelling) are friends is just quite interesting to me and kind of cute in a way. She deserves a friend for all the crap she went through as a kid. No wonder she turned out evil before. I would to if I told something that I can't help made me an awful person.
Meteora and Mariposa are more than just friends or best friends, they're actually sisters even tho not biologically related.
I want to know why the person that came from the neverzone always go back to their right time of age, but their clothes always change, ang it seems that items from the neverzone that came from earth or other dimension doesnt get affected at all. For example, the penguin that mariposa has, when shes a earth its still clean, but in the neverzone it turned old, and then when they go back to earth, all theyre clothing, matureness has gone back to the original time except the penguin.
I feel like this was intentioned and they can use the neverzone for the upcoming rival, they can train their for like a 10 years and go back, and its only maybe 1 minute

I personally feel like Hekapoo intentionally left the portal open, we all feel that Hekapoo was the one who had the most involvement with getting rid of Meteora the first time and, still being pissed off over Eclipsa and her family being accepted, planned to get rid of the heir to the throne
The only reason I can think of as to why Mariposa was also taken by Hekapoo is because she knew she had a limited window to snatch Meteora and that if any of the babies started crying, then Marco & Star would’ve bursted in to see what was happening, and this took Mariposa because she was just beginning to get upset over the sight of Meteora being taken.
It makes a lot of sense considering what happened in today’s episode, and how she is technically the worst outta the remaining MHC with her being the most pissed about the beans being spilled and the whole monster-butterfly family being let free and excepted(plus there’s the fact that, Hekapoo is shown to be the most involved out of the MHC to get rid of Meteora).
I just can’t wait for her to get her comeuppance cause everyone tends to look over the fact of how horrible she is just cause she’s still friends with Marco(like seriously, wtf are they still friends? You’d think Star would rip him a new one over that), when she gets punished for what she’s done it’s gonna be harsh and brutal and I can’t wait

New theory: MARIPOSA IS PRINCESS QUAZAR
think Mariposa can learn magic even when she is 100% human, she just need the wand like Marco.
Try this scenario: The Solarian Warriors are attacking the monster temple. Marco snatches up the babies and jumps through a portal to safety. Some of the warriors follow (maybe Marco encourages them by shouting something like, "You'll never win while Meteora is still heir!") only to be confronted by Abs Marco, Hit Girl Mariposa and butterfly form Meteora. After cleaning up the trash, Meteora and Mariposa emulate Omnitraxis to support the others at the monster temple, Meteora uses the All Seeing Eye spell to see where to open portals and then Mariposa throws stuff through the portals.

Everyone just be growing up in the other dimension then there is just Star.
I mean, it could be possible that Father Time, OR Omnitraxus *It was said in the book that he WANTED fighting between Mewmans and Monsters* could change the time zones of Meteora and Mariposa to help in a future situation. Ergo, switch them from Normal Time Zone, to Neverzone Time Zone. Making them older. Heck, if clocks in the river of time could turn Star into an old lady there could be a similar feature somewhere else. Like an amulet, or matching necklaces.

Hey TheNextBigThing, i have a little theory about Mariposa. So, Mariposas' baby clothes have the symbol of Princess Quasar has on her cheeks in "Princess Quasar Caterpillar" So i either wanna say this a little throwback or that Quasar is Mariposa but in a different time. Also Mariposa and Quasar do look the same.. So who knows?
The Planet on Mariposa's Pyjama also looks like Quasar's cheek marks

I don't think marco walking up first is miraculous. He's probably dealt with poison before and has a stronger resistance to it than star. Why they brought him however, is some plot bs.

A seriously critical point: Heckapoo is more than anything the magical councils guardian of portals.. She's more than a stickler for portal abuse or negligent use.. And she just "forgets" a portal that DIRECTLY affects Meteora to Heckapoos dimension? Nope. Ain't buying that. It was intentional and malicious. An elaborate plan by Rombulus to get Eclipsa recrystalized? Nope, someone smarter came up with that. Mina Loveberry suddenly a brilliant strategist and tactician? Nope, once again someone else pulling the strings.
The final boss is someone who goes back before Solaria, has survived unscathed and unsuspected up to this point and has had a hand and/or presence in all of the critical history.
In the book, you'll find Heckapoo always at those critical points. She has infinite time to scheme in her dimension, she can be many places at the same time.
Just sayin'.
