Reasoning behind kaku 2k and no who's who is because kaku 5 drop does the same without discarding a card. The kaku 2k has some very neat scenarios that help you keep consistency with the minusing when you need it in crucial situations.
I was literally at locals earlier and realized that I had Jack on board and spandine in hand, and if I only had a 2k kaku in trash I would have been able to remove at a critical point in the match against Blackbeard. Lowkey think I lost due to not having that kaku considering I hit Kaido after but just lost due to tempo
Even though I can't argue with it's success, this Shanks List just feels like brute forcing the game in the worst way possible. With the searcher list there is at least a modicum of strategy with what mid game cards I choose with my searches. This just feels like being a sitting duck, throwing out 2k counters until the cows come home, waiting until my top end wins me the game.
I’ve been incredibly confused by something I only just realized watching this tournament yesterday. Just so you know, the card you’ve been referring to for a while now as “Liberation” is actually Black Hole. Liberation is a completely separate card from OP10 with similar looking art.
Liberation was the original fan translation for the OP09 so a lot of people who tested OP09 early call it that. The official op09 card is black hole, the official op10 card is liberation. I’ll be updating my deck builder with the better images soon to help alleviate this. The text on the site is always 100% correct though.
@@TheEgman Ahhh okay gotcha, I wasn’t sure what the reasoning was actually originally lmao. I speak Japanese and both cards are pronounced exactly like the English words (ie. Something like Burack Horu, Ribereishun) so I thought this was an oversight. There must have been a mixup in fan translations at some point then. I appreciate the clarity on how that ended up being the case!
Why did he try to play lafitte rested from a search? And then he used fullead and out cards in trash instead of bottom deck. Maybe he was just nervous from stream?

I've been trying, he's just not good enough. Pluffy is simply way better having 5 life with inbuilt ramp. Yellow is a hard colour to beat, if Betty even mid rolls they can destroy you so early that your late game is almost non-existent. I know People say it's bad into blackbeard but im currently 6-1 into it and 5-2 into shank's and 2-3 into doffy
Decks' just inconsistent. VERY inconsistent. The consistent list loses hard to Doffy, the inconsistent list loses to .... itself, a lot of the time. You're just forced to play an absurd amount of bricks, sadly. Or, as I said, you play the fun list and lose 99% of Doffy games.
