I do think people should probably not keep making creepypasta’s about the windigo and similar First Nations mythology, but I appreciate that this one addressing the oppression they face
I just wish they would stick to accurate wendigo folklore. Hollywood really has ruined that lore.

Reminds me of sitting with my papaw, listening to stories of when he was younger. Miss that old man and wish I could of heard the stories he hinted at when drunk but wouldn't talk about
That's awesome me too. I can remember back to setting in the Fire watch Tower with my Papaw. Listening to him talk about a wildlife burning over top him and his men. Buried in a rock cliff. Lol it scared his lungs breathing that hot air as the fire burnt around them. Him with a Basic full flavor cigarette hanging out his lips. Dang I miss the Good ol Days. Thanks for the trip down memory lane
Even better yet. Him talking about the Strange things that would go bump in the Night. He said he was working a fireline one evening. When they stumbled on a rock circle with a good size oak tree in the middle. Said it had pieces of bone hanging from the tree limbs. Even had a bad smell to it. Even over top of the smoke and burning brush.
Said he didn't have time to look more in to it. Tho for the rest of the nite. Every man was looking over his shoulder lol. I miss that old man

My only issue with this is the inaccuracies in the description of the wendigo. They don't have antlers, and they aren't shape-shifters. They're gaunt, gray, emaciated humanoids. They're born of cannibalism and have an insatiable hunger for human. The more they eat, the bigger they grow. This is all information i was told by my buddy, who is Cree. According to him, the best depiction of them in modern-day media is from Until Dawn.

This made a great first story of the work day! I was convinced that it was going to be a skin walker but I'm equally happy that it was a Wendigo! it just makes the story that much darker knowing that the evil spirit we call a Wendigo was brought about by something just as evil if not more seeing as the person had the choice to eat human flesh or not and chose to. The Wendigo is just doing what's natural.... well unnatural to it.
Enjoying the uncle Henry stories..makes me think of my grandfather,he had some stories.

Called it was a Wendigo with the antlers and Native Americans, but the Wendigo we know is Hollywood's version and the real Wendigo is completely different. Skinny, pale white, sharp teeth and claws. Wndigos are spirits that ha e an endless hunger and possess people

hy guys! i am looking for help from the creepypasta community, i have repeatedly tried asking around but i either get no responses from anyone or no one seems to know what i am talking about....it actually feels like a creepypasta in of itself in a way lol
so i had my list of creepypasta readers, however, one day, one in particular just sorta disappeared without a trace! it's actually been so long i can't really remember the name, and i just keep asking around to see if anyone recognizes who i am talking about so i'll tell you what i remember.
intro: the intro was a CGI first person perspective through a camera lense as it looked through some creepy woods, it comes to a run down house as a zombie shambles out and attacks the camera
the guy was probably most well known for this personal zombie story he had been telling that was possibly the most gruesome, violent, disturbing but enthralling i have ever heard that had a main story and a bunch of in universe stand alone stories of just random horrific events as society collapsed, and then the main story sorta branched between 2 separate characters...
the overall story revolved around survivors that needed to send some people out to find supplies, and so the leader took a man named (i think went by) blue jay and a young girl who's parents stayed behind due to the mother being heavily pregnant...there were 2 different types of infected, the zombies and the crazies that basically made you wish to get ripped apart by a horde of zombies if they caught you...anyway, they end up getting attacked and seperated, blue jay finds the girl and ends up reconnecting with the leader but he is bitten and knows he will turn, he planned on kneecapping him and leaving him to be killed by the crazies but he turned too quickly and became a crazy himself! jay manages to hide the girl under a car and hides himself in a dumpster but basically has to listen as the other survivors back at their hiding place call in to see whats up and the leader ends up tracing it back to their group and violently kills everyone while he wants blue jay to show himself to "save them" before killing them while he stays hidden....from there jay ends up leaving his spot eventually and gets taken in by people he thinks are saving him at first but are actually crazy survivors and his story was left on a cliff hanger....meanwhile the girl wakes up and stumbles around from her hiding spot and through her part in the story they set up that the virus seems to have mutated and created a new kind of infected that was a super predator that almost gets her but she is last minute saved by other survivors as well...
and then? poof! the channel and all his work just gone from youtube...i assume his channel was deleted...but if anyone knows why i would just like the closure...or if anyone knows if he's set up somewhere else? i'd love to see how his story has continued to evolve!
