Looks like a pretty cool set! Star Trek isn't really my jam, but that model looks very clean! And some very interesting pieces. I have heard that they lost the license to Lego. Should bring some cool sets! Although, I wonder whether that was a big blow to bluebrixx. Either way, good news for Trekkies! (Do people still say that?)
@onecleverpig The designer did a nice job of getting the arrowhead shape of the front ship right. And almost no exposed studs. The rumor is LEGO is getting the license, and that could be very cool, but BlueBrixx had over 75 different Star Trek sets and the rumor is LEGO is only going to produce one. And at one time Trekkies tried to get people to call them "Trekkers" (I've heard Alex Nunes describe himself as a Trekker), but I don't care either way as both my wife and I and all of our parents are Star Trek fans. And based on the reactions I've seen to this rumor, there are a LOT of Trekkies/Trekkers out there with strong opinions about the possibility of LEGO getting this license.
