This is another, most beautiful performance, by the beautiful Russian children, of this, most moving, sad song about Russian soldiers which died in far away, foreign lands, fighting the Nazi invaders, and which, - we dream, - that they are returning to us , as the Cranes, which are coming back to us, every spring from far away places..... Every time I hear this song, - and I like to listen to it quite often, - I think about those times and events of the 2nd WW, I'm really very deeply moved, and really, close to tears - slyozy. I understand only few Russian words, but, more or less, I understand what this beautiful Russian songs, like: "Tyomnaya noch, "Eh, dorogi", "Zhuravlee" , and many others, are all bout. I wish VERY much, that this, and other of my favorite Russian songs appeared with English translation, so everyone could understand, and appreciate its beautiful meaning, apart from the beautiful melody and music.
