Bringing warmth and melody to the prog-trance scene ever since 'Kalopsia' came out in 2007, we find Norwegian duo The Blizzard providing Armin van Buuren one of the highlights of his A State of Trance 2012 compilation. 'Piercing The Fog' is the quieting, spellbinding new piece we're talking about!
From 'Kalopsia' to 'Iselilja' and the many successful collabs with Omnia, each musical piece that leaves the studio of Lars Nyheim and Tore Vatle Jensen has a sense of mystery and profundity. I am huge Trance fan, I always loved The Blizzard back in 2007/2008, but honestly, this is one of the best tunes I have ever heard - again I have the chance to hear these beautiful sounds, which are the reason why I fell in love with Trance over 5 years ago, almost have tears when I listen to this...
