You sound exactly like me working on a car and i'm almost 50. I get so damn frustrated with all the various MM sizes or SAE sockets and so forth..like who created the tool madness that cost a small fortune, they should just sell specific mechanic sets like for Toyota or Chevy. Anyway my rack n pinion got rebuilt & replaced and now on to the two hoses. My high pressure is defintely leaking badly but im gonna do the low hose as well at the same time. I was loosing a reservoiur per 7-days with the rack leak and every 3-days with the high pressure hose as it was way worse. the low hose seems to have the least issues but your video shows the details so Thx, I probably cuss alot more than you but thats ok its for good reason working on these cars with zero to no hand space & specialty tools.
@DonnyBuilds currently working on it. How did you screw the bottom one in? Did you firmly hold it in and then screw or screw. It's leaking from the top where it inserts to the steering knuckle. What would cause that?
@@bsmooth_8yea the bottom one took me forever to get in flush I held it with one hand and threaded it with my other hand also using a wrench until it sat sort of flush, they just get old and the seals wear out so the hoses start leaking
