I don’t care if your divested, BWL, rachet, or etc. just stay on code and be pro black women first when we come up against anything that hurts us as a whole. It’s that simple.
It is that simple when you genuinely have love for others and want women who look like you to succeed in life but you have got to understand that a significant number of bw do not like other bw. So it's really not that simple for them. They complicate things and push drama for no other reason other than because they are deeply mean spirited right down to the core and because they thrive on dysfunction and hate. Therapy needs relentless promotion in this space.
@@pagethreemodel These women will also sacrifice or feed other BW and even their daughters to the b males they worship. In terms of the 60% SA rate of b girls before 18 birthday, BW hands are not clean. There is no way that 60 out of 100 Blk girls are being violated w/o b wmn having a hand in it. Just yesterday, I was on a livestream where a woman said that her mother was aware that her BF was molexxxx her 4 yo sister and herself who was 7 yo and told her mother. Sacrificing her daughters to keep some ashy azz “pipe” in her house. Nobody h8 Blk girls than BW!
AMEN AMEN AMEN...As if black and ghetto go hand in hand1 stop that shit. level up. there are ghetto english ppl, white ppl usually called red necks etc and theres ghetto black ppl. but we are NOT ALL THE SAME. Avoid those stuck on ghetto at all costs. We deserve luxury, femininity and all that good stuff
I see why you stay to yourself and maintain your peace. I don’t understand why some BW content creators take things to the extreme and try to be the Queen 🐝 of the BWE movement? There’s room for everyone to have a voice. It’s like certain content creators want to control and dictate what others say and do on their platforms. Corrective promotion is NEEDED! I’m glad I’ve been following you for 5 years now.
True. There is no Queen here. No one is entitled to be worshipped like life revolves around them. Let people be. Creators should stop getting mad they aren't being recognized. It's UA-cam... it's for money otherwise they wouldn't monetize their channels.
Black people just can't get along in general. I notice in the BC black people are the only people that put labels of king or queen of this or that or prince and princess of this or that. BP always have to be the first of everything and feel entitled to praise and homage.🙄
EXACTLY it's room for all BW to have their spaces & platforms btw a lot of the things we discuss will sound similar if not the same because so many of our experiences are similar or the same
“You ARE Blakistan.” Facts. Excellent live Chrissie. The egos and misdirected anger is sabotaging the message. I try to focus on healing but many folks aren’t there yet.
I am so glad you made this video. I’ve had to take a step back from some divestment platforms because of this exactly. To me there was a lot of anger/resentment toward BM as well as viciousness toward BW who didn’t 100% agree. That energy doesn’t resonate with me anymore. I’d rather feel detached from these issues than have negative emotions toward them. There is room for everyone, like you said.
I was deeply into the divestment community for about a year smh it can be very toxic and low vibrational, they can come for me if they want but it’s the truth and once you start to grow (and get some damn therapy) you simply grow out of the need for that space It was beneficial to opening my eyes but you can’t seriously think listening to 4 hours of hate a week is healthy it’s NOT and they can argue with their mama 🙄🙄🗣🗣
Right I can remember feeling ok but I came across too many negative posts & my mood/energy would change very suddenly, that's SO NOT healthy to constantly be in that sort of state
Chrissie continue doing the right thing lady. There are an enormous number of young black girls who still need your guidance. There's always a storm ahead when there is a great change ahead ;). As black women, we MUST see our way out of the ghetto mentality. The haters will be there, however, continue your journey of corrective promotion for our youth. :)
Chrissie could you do a whole video dedicated to the whole "hitting the wall" thing? I'm glad you brought it up. Men even in my day to day life have tried throw that in my face as Im approaching 30. Loved the video by the way ♥️
lol just ignore them! They are immature and ignorant! I’m 34, and I love being in my 30’s! Maybe some other women that are in their 30’s can chime in, but I’m at a stage where I’m done with school for good (my highest degree is a Master of Science), I’ve solidified my career and I can sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Best of all, I’m still fine as hell and have no problem attracting men of all races. Hitting the wall is a choice for both men and women. If you don’t take care of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and financially…as a man or woman you will hit the wall. Men only shame women in their 20’s about hitting the wall to encourage you to settle for them and their nonsense and lack of resources out of fear you will not be able to get a man once you’re over 30. Imo getting married and having kids in your 20’s isn’t realistic for most people in these modern times because you aren’t wise or experienced enough to pick the right spouse. If you don’t believe me look at the divorce rate and how that breaks down. I call those ppl the married by 30, divorced by 40 club. Not shaming anyone if this is their situation, but I personally don’t date men my age that have already been married because of the baggage of kids, alimony and stunted growth. Girl live your life, set goals and make sure you achieve them and if you desire marriage, put yourself in settings to meet mentally, emotionally, physically and financially stable men and pray for discernment if you believe in God. Out of all of my friends only 1 got married in her late 20’s. The rest got married while in our 30’s. One just got engaged, she’s the same age as me. Now there’s only 2 of us that are still single and that’s by choice.
@@Nekole1 exactly! And the more confident and unbothered you act the more confused they will be and you will realize how much confidence they actually lack and that they have nothing better to talk about.
That's the most asinine thing I see on social media. Most men are not thinking this though. Also my opinion; Men look their best in their twenties to early thirties. After 34 and up many start balding, have a tummy and start having wrinkles. Not to mention e.d. I think it's crazy to say women hit the wall when many can't tell our age and will holler either way. Also if hitting the wall was real, women shouldn't be fertile still. Also, men over 30 and older who want very young women never look at the mental maturity of it. They expect a 20 year old to think like a 30 or 40 year old. Also they get annoyed when there is a lack of common interests. Truth be told, most married couples are around the same age with a 2 to 3 year difference. So those guys who spew that garbage are just haters period.
There are many BWE channels on this platform. I don’t agree with everything they say, but most have something to offer. Some content creators need to realize that there doesn’t need to be a “queen,” there’s room for everybody at the table. Let’s stop trying to destroy each other over differences in opinion. Terminating pregnancies should not be used as BC. Why lay with men you consider to be worthless in the 1st place?
I think its sad that bwe and divestors can't respect each other because at the heart of their message they are all trying to achieve the same thing which is for black women to have a better life. I hope they will get out of their emotions and eventually see that
Exactly is why I don’t really understand what’s the beef about . We are within the same community tryna achieve the same thing , giving similar messages to positively benefit bw. Why’s there so much competition and drama? And it’s bw in general in this bwe community not just the level ups and divestors it’s the ones that don’t identify as nothing but relate more to the bwe community as well .
@@butterflygirl01 Yes sorry I meant to say bwe not level up. See even I'm getting it wrong cause to me they all have the same root goal 😂. I've edited my comment x
I mean, what happened to just leaving people alone. If black men are mean to you, leave them alone. We don’t have to go online and call people whatever derogatory or rude term. That’s super toxic. Don’t waste your energy like that. Go let off steam in the gym or in a journal. Go pray about it. Don’t go online with your anger.
Don't forget therapy as well! I am a student and so luckily my therapy is paid for. If we can share cheaper but legitimate mental health resources, I'm sure it'll benefit someone.
I think one of the reasons SOME of these divestors are getting into it with other black women is because deep down inside they are still pick me's. They don't really want to divest. They are just trying some reverse psychology tactics in hopes that it will get black men to pay attention and come back.
I agree. Some of the stories they cover to make their point about BM are about BM celebrities I never heard of. As a black atheist, i have always felt outside of the BC so I know what feeling divested means. I often find myself thing Wow to say you are divested you know a lot of what’s going on with these men.
@@stupendousconfectionery Which is why I wrote SOME not all divestors. Good for you and the African women you know but the ones all over social media calling black men names so vile they could make the kkk blush are not really divested.
I listen to everyone just to see where everyone's head is at and I definitely found a space to be angry when I really needed to be angry. After my break up I needed an explanation as to why he would let such a good woman go 🤷🏾♀️ But now I'm out and I'm grateful that I've found other spaces to rest in my femininity. Although I don't agree with everyone on everything but I think that's important too. Everyone should be listening to a well rounded POV.
I nolonger stick around in spaces that help me ruminate on my anger & other negative emotions for very long because I've learned that the shit is extremely toxic
@@fatherbewithme I agree. When going through it,you know fresh wounds you may need to rant ,rave , drill ,etc... But there is a season.. Speaking as a BW who did experience sexual abuse from BM as a child as well as an absent father, I am still more in your wavelength. I made the choice to date an marry out and don’t have much interaction with hood elements. So all of this lashing out while entertaining to a point, quickly gets cringe. In my opinion if BW could simply withdraw support from colorist BM and stop including mixed women as black (or handing out black cards to Cardi B’s), we would be where we needed to be without all of the public displays of anger. Let our actions and wallets speak. Seriously I think a lot of these platforms know they will get views from the content they are pushing. Solving the problems really don’t require a lot of their content so they are not interested.
Many bw in the black women empowerment community say some out of line things this just doesn’t apply to bw in the community that are divested so I don’t think it’s right to place the blame on divested black women within the community. A lot of the talking points are shared amongst bw in the black women empowerment community so you can’t really blame one group of women for something. Like I’m not divested but I use a lot of their talking points because it’s common within the community or popular. I do agree that saying hateful things online about bm is furthering the hate towards us and we must realize that we are the most unprotected so a lot of things we do and say makes them even more angry towards us. I’m not saying we should be silent but hold them accountable and different ways and I agree with Chrissie on that.
You make so much sense... how are black women attracted to men that you don't like and sleep with men you don't want to have kids with? The mortality and self esteem is crazy low, even with women who seem to have esteem in these YT streets. My attraction to black men has gone to very low levels, to the point I, for the first time ever, started a job where I work with majority black men...and I don't want to deal with any of them. That was an eye opener for me. That I waited so long for my "IBM" and now I get a chance to be around them more, but I don't even want to look at them when they pass me by. It's so weird...smh.
Yes please scream it to the bw with low self esteem in the back. Like chrissie said if you are to the point of aborting a baby because it's a black male then you shouldn't have slept with a black man in the first place. It doesn't make sense
My whole thing that she was failing to understand is that BW as a COLLECTIVE, won't stop sleeping with BM bc even though we (the minority of BW) know that BM are terrible and are doing these terrible things are not sleeping with them, they (the majority) that still are, and they DO NOT think like us... they haven't let go and are still going to sleep with them bc they have very low self esteem and arnt ready to let go. That's why I said it's unrealistic to say "stop sleeping with them" .. Bc they're not at that point yet. Some are still in their Black male worship phase (a.k.a mammy phase) if it were as easy as to say "don't sleep with them" we wouldn't be having this conversation & the black community would have been fixed a long time ago. It's about changing the mindset of BW as whole so that they DO stop sleeping with them. But y’all wanna act dense 🤦🏾♀️

@@Wavypepperjack How many abortions do you need to have to stop dealing with them? You will continue to face the same issues if you keep engaging with them. You are just repeating cyns talking points. That is called trauma bonding. It's like trying to reason with women who want to stay in an abusive relationship, and still complain about the same men. Just let it go and move on. Edit: And if you are still going to do it at least practice safe sex. Educate yourselves on birth control and condoms.
I think it's because Black women really wish or want to see their own likeness outside of them. Black women want to see that "likeness" validated, which through "creation" or (procreation) can and does happen-not exactly guaranteed, but typically speaking its: have sex, both an unambiguous black woman and man, have one or many unambiguous black fetuses in how they "come out." The issue I think it's an subconscious burden on black women as the reproductive capable ones to actually "further" the race that will have our "looks" / phenotype. The thing is, I'm not so sure any Black women necessarily signed up for the harsh realities that come with, the appeared resistance for our "look" to be acceptable or to be a set of physics attributes to not continuously be considered ugly or carry little social currency. With any of the BWE branches of movement, and all that happens with how some small or large quantities of BM's perceive Black women, some are starting to say to themselves that there's only one life, and the burden of spending it with a black man who may not EVER see true VALUE in a black woman, who isn't his "mother" technically-the one who gave him life, but rather romantically, is far TOO great. With that new mindset for those Black women, there may perhaps be guilt to "divest" but it's still a conscious decision I think some are making because that's good for the goose just may be good for the gander: if BM don't seem to be carrying around a particular "guilt trip" if you will, of their sons or daughters looking absolutely NOTHING like them (because they are with non-Black partner(s) and the genetics that come with that), then why should Black Women be holding onto a particular guilt trip of not being "race loyal" or being bothered about not carrying the phenotype of an unambiguous black child(ren)? At this point, it just may be a future of mixed, as in biracial or multiracial children. If both Black men and women take the approach to continue biological divestment from each other, to mate with another race, that may be the future, the racism will be a little diluted-perhaps that's the rise of the white nationalism we are seeing, the deep seated fear of not being genetically expressed as Caucasian anymore, but only "blended." That fear causes a lot of issues on the surface, the TIKI torches of the protests on the college campus in Virginia come to mind, the white men chanted "they will not replace us." It is fear of the deepest kind-being erased/effaced. However, Black men (a lot) don't see that worried about that, they want what they want. When Black women ALSO give themselves permission to want what they want, outside of EXPECTATIONS and what they have been socially CONDITIONED to, there will be a freedom in that. Apparently, that's the freedom Black men have been experiencing. CHOOSING freely. Without societal ties, burden, expectations, issues, and it must be bliss. I think that Black women should free themselves then of what may be, if they don't lay down with Black men, particularly if they want them to "struggle" and show signs of just wanting them pregnancy after pregnancy, to further their bloodline, but could care less about the Black WOMAN in actuality. It's one of the deepest form of opportunism I could think of, just have a black man use a woman's uterus to procreate, but with no real regard for HER WHOLENESS. We are more than the sum of our vaginas. It's almost like the man is essentializing her/ her womb, and that's it. What's upstairs, marrying that, claiming that, even the "baby mama" culture, I think, has ties to this. It's a culture spurned off of a driven male ego's desire to see itself, but not with emotional maturity. It just wants to reproduce, but not actually take care or time to be a patriarch and actually MANAGE sexual surges, urges, and ability to impregnante-RESPONSIBLY. That's why the woman has to choose herself first. When she does, and doesn't give passage/entry to such a corroded mindset from any Black man that does this- that expose/reveals itself, usually WELL BEFORE sexual encounters, then she'll be better off. There are always signs of this mindset, for which poor treatment will surely follow. That's why I think self esteem, and self awareness/mastery matters so much.
Some black women take the idea of "winning" too far. You can have your own space and identity without demanding that literally everyone follow suit. Black women can't be mad at stereotypes and require every black woman to stay in a certain lane at the same time. I, for example, consider myself to be divested and I'm married with a child. So while 100% of Chrissie's content might not be for me, I 100% support the platform and how she's educating so many black women.
I’ve heard you say it before, but listening to this has me thinking about the possible repercussions of some of the hateful rhetoric from some of these BW content creators, as they become more extreme. I’ve been in interracial relationships for like the past 14 years (first with my ex, and now 10 years with my husband). I’ve never identified as a “swirler” despite that lol, nor do I claim to be divested. And I’ve never run into issues over my relationship while out and about, but with more craziness out here I worry a little that might change. I’ve been listening to your content for the past few years now, which led me to other BW content, and that led me to seeing these current internet/UA-cam wars between BW/BM, and it’s a lot of yikes… I understand that what I’m seeing from BW is a reaction to years and years of bs from our male counterparts, and the anger is understandable. But I don’t like antiblack shit like calling other Black people apes - like, did that suddenly only become an insult for the men? Do we think racist folks won’t throw terms like that at ALL of us? 🤔 I think we’ve pointed out for some time now how bad a look it is for BM to shit on BW when they date out, so do the “divested” think they’re going to look any better to the nonBM they get with while calling BM apes? I feel like anyone that wouldn’t raise an eyebrow to that is questionable, and could easily turn around and call them the same. And some of them seem to have realized BM worship is bad…but then turn around and do it to other men simply based on race. I started listening to certain BW creators just because I was interested in seeing what they were saying. But I had to chill out on multiple channels because I realized taking in so many hours of negative content wasn’t good for me. I had to go back to my happy place with art and crafting videos lol.
I don’t agree with a lot for the names some of these divesters are saying. But let’s not act like black men haven’t and still aren’t calling black women worst. Also not every divester are like the extremists
@@Lovebrix99 I’m not acting like anything. I didn’t say BM don’t say equally ugly or worse things, but this convo isn’t about what they say. All this mess is a reaction to years of their bs. I’m just saying as a Black person, I’m not with calling other Black folks (men or women) primates lol. And I also didn’t say those who talk this way represent all divesters. But I don’t think adding a “not all” disclaimer is needed because that’s a given. The statement is about the people it applies to.
I like this comment. I say this because I am an aro-ace, black woman. Meaning, naturally... I have no sexual appetite for anybody and no natural desire for romantic intimacy. A few colleagues suggested for me to watch videos from some BWE youtubers. So, naturally, I was put off by some of these BWE youtubers that mainly focused on romance and men. I was turned off by casual bigotry that I would occasionally hear. And I came to the conclusion that some women spoke as if they hated black women as well.
Listen, all I got is that Chrissie, you said all the talking points, as articulate as could be made. I really admire how you keep things compartmentalized when doing the lives, because you seem to have some rules/guidelines that you don't waiver from, (example not being in the practice of mentioning names of other channel hosts) and even when some of these topics are emotive, really seem to be able to harness the logic, and not have the emotion take center stage. I know that it has been said (astrologically speaking) Cancers are moody, emotional beings, but how you manage or seem to master your emotions, really translates across on this platform. It's the one main reason I've observed has its own staying power, because it's been a Master Class objective for me in life: how to master emotions. The notion of "triggers" and how that brings out the worst or the most emotionally mismanaged in the human condition and strategy on how to combat these things/which do have their links to inflammaton in the body, is HUGE. Inflammatory comments and inflammatory environments really feed an inner loop, that plays itself out for who has them said to them and who lives in them. I think your content, more importantly how you've SHAPED your channel really serves the purpose of educating and sharing strategy that NEUTRALIZES these inflamed hot spots in your audience. Addressing these issues helps me face MYSELF, not just the world and what may be my place in it. Discussing these issues on platforms isn't easy to do, I can only imagine. However, the critical thinker in you seems to do it with the greatest of ease. I think you bring up certain points that I haven't heard said or combined the way you have spoken on them, and that speaks to how some issues do "flow" into others.
@55:00 point you’re not lying. I watched the drama unfold. I watched that certain person pull old videos to play victim but never showed what she said and did to other BW. She continues to fake forgive then throw shade when she feels some kind of way or when her fake classy high key messy followers create drama. She definitely made it seem like you were attacking her, for no reason. Just to blow smoke. Her and her god, I remember her god went off on her because she allowed someone on the panel that “came” for her 🤦🏽♀️. I couldn’t believe my ears older BW carrying on like that, that claim their not that kind of BW. I also agree if you have to abort don’t lay with them. Stop having their children by not giving them access. No access no babies. BM penis is not that good to risk so much and again BBC is a myth I’ve been running into non black men that could open up a butcher shop with all the meat they had. Of course BW are going to make excuse to why they should sleep with them and get abortions as a “don’t police other BW” but some shit is just not smart to do. I know I’m not risking my health just to be able to continue to lay with BM. Sex is not more important than my health. To each it’s own but yeah not thank you.
@1:02:25 You're shocked about that comment. Yes, she's SERIOUS! Nobody is ready for that conversation. I've had this conversation with a coworker and friend. Women get abortion like its a form of birth control. I always ask them... Why are you bussin it wide open with no protection for someone you don't like anyway 🤔🙃🥴 the conditioning is real and scary in the BC.
I made this point in a comment section a few days ago and I had another woman tell me that taking preventative measures to avoid pregnancy is not intelligent and all the name calling started. I can't believe people are actually this ridiculous!
@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 Oh believe it. No accountability for her body at all. Why do you think they say abort blk males so easily. I 100% agree with Chrissie on this regarding not sleeping with them. I personally don’t want to have BM’s babies period, however I just can’t wrap my head around even sleeping with them if that’s how I feel. Yea I don’t get it either.
I don't know why I am so invested in American politics 🙈 but I watch a lot of Chrissie videos. I'm South African and I am not even dark in complexion. I have learned quite a lot on this channel. I know that skin bleaching is an issue, a global issue but I didn't know the word colourism and I didn't know it can be studied like this. I have been watching this channel for years now. 😊
@@Thankgot Yes, we need someone who will analyse South African society and give us some ideas on how to make changes. Obviously countries are different, our problems may differ but boy do we have serious problems too.
Wow, this was much needed. I find myself listening to black women who have all different stances. Femininity, divestment, healing, corrective promotion, femicide, hypergamy, feminism and even some channels where black women are just expressing their anger at black men and I find all of them valid. They are all helpful to me and it’s unfortunate fussing and internal fighting is happening.
I got banned from CG for posting her hypocrisy and questioning her rationale of still sleeping 🛌 with the very men she despises 💁🏽 It caused a lot of unwanted debate and she took down the video …. Then you got another one who is running around being emotional criticizing others about their language, yet you can see them calling BM dusty and going on other channels commenting negatively yet claiming to be positive. It’s crazy 😜
One of her former hanger ons - the very erratic one with 'sphere' at the end of her name, advocated for bw to get hysterectomies so they can keep sleeping with bm if they do wish, without getting pregnant. She said this on one of Iron Bang's lives. Imagine a young and impressionable woman listening to that? These women are sick.
I’m 25 and have never slept with anyone, but my comment is for the well being of Black women in general. Aborting male babies is definitely too extreme. I’ve been saying “just don’t sleep with them”. Why put yourself through something that will impact you physically and psychologically. And plus that can take a toll on your fertility if you do it numerous times. I know someone as well who had so many abortions that she has a 99% chance of NOT getting pregnant. These were her exact words. My own cousin had 1 abortion and she couldn’t have a baby naturally after that. At 40 she did in-vitro and now has a beautiful baby boy. I have 3 nephews and another one on the way (2 each from my brother and sister who are both happily married) and I can NEVER imagine either of them being aborted for the sake of “bringing down the crime in the community”. It’s not realistic. Please!! Have respect for your body!! Treat it like it’s a valuable gem!! At the end of the day that’s your baby. You will eventually have this motherly instinct to separate your baby (unborn or born) from grown men who are not even related to you. That’s your flesh and blood...
@Exposing Blackistan That is how I see it but alot of the BWE is about divestment. I don't like how small disagreements lead to attacks. I see too much of it among this blk women crowd in america. It is cultural.
I have been watching you for a few years. As a black woman and a fan, You are amazing for creating this platform for us. Unfortunately, black women will never come together at least in my lifetime. I would focus on the young girls. Black people have ruined all things in their own community excluding the societal barriers and oppression. Martin, Malcolm, I reflect on history, our own people were on the inside to tear us down. I have given up 95% on our women. I have 5 % hope because of my family and black women like you and non-black women that get it and support us. The fact that you have to explain in this life people are still against you. It's exhausting. I could not do this. BW won't come together in my opinion at this time. I focus on the youth. I Give love to all the BW that get it. If you don't, you are most likely part of the problem.
@@melinatedvessel6840 I’m not sure what the original poster meant by nbw allies, but I have seen BW repel and turn away individual nbw who want to support us. There are also very public examples of BW shooting down nb ppl (men and women) who spooke up for us, but we’re attacked by BW themselves. In the last 2-3 weeks I was having a polite exchange with a b male on another sister’s channel who supported divestment for some of us. A BW attacked me for responding to his polite and supportive comments. I’m realizing that nbw allies are probably going to be on an individual basis for me personally-or nbw who want to support me as an individual. Also, I have seen BW also sour other BW who wanted to help BW, but bec of BW themselves, have really either severely narrowed who has access to them and what they offer or threw up their hands and stopped trying to help BW altogether. Yesterday, I was on a livestream with a b wmn who was relating receiving a barrage of email from a b wmn demanding that “if you really want to “help” BW, you would make your info/class available on UA-cam for free.” Sis is pissed and is raising her price for the class. BW get mad about paying BW for beneficial info, but will put $$ on that baker’s books when he in jail or pay hundreds of thousands of $ to attach an Asian woman’s hair to her head but mad this sister is offering something valuable that we can’t get anywhere else-for a price. I’m realizing that divestment means leaving BW behind.
I listened to what you saying about the abortion part on live. Another UA-camr said the same thing. Abortion is harsh on the body and it does affect future pregnancies. I'm glad it was said again if you know this person is no good don't sleep with them.
I made this point in a comment section and got cursed at, name called, and dismissed. It's the damn truth though. If we have a choice on who we lay up with, why not choose the best options? We have more control over our destiny than we realize.
I’m only 30 minutes into this live and I love how eloquently you articulate everything Chrissie. Being a Libra I’m all about being balanced. I had to stop following and listening to a lot of divestment content creators because it was starting to feel extreme. I understand being angry at BM but the constant hate was just off putting. Cause at the end of the day where is the solution if all you’re doing is complaining about men you’re not attracted to, don’t care about, and hate. There is so much more to life than this space. And the bashing of BW with BM is off putting as well. I always appreciate your views chrissie. It’s refreshing for sure and I do agree this type of content is putting a target on BW backs.
I agree. BW should be on code. Every BW is not on the same level of awareness and who and what they’re truly looking for. Some come on yt angry and need those spaces to let the steam out, which honestly speaking is good. I couldn’t imagine a woman that’s still angry coming in this space with the anger. Water look for its own level. Hopefully they learn and move forward if not they’re in the right space for the mindset they’re in. I think there’s room for everyone of y’all. I listen to different BW channels for different content. I couldn’t image every channel I go to the women are saying ALL the same things, no variety. My thing about BW is you have to use your discernment on what you take in, which is clear most don’t have. I agree and disagree with some things that’s said on different platforms but what I don’t do is complain about it or bring smoke to those women. I move on, to content that’s more suited for me and where I am in my journey. I really don’t like this “pay homage” and policing of other BW spaces by certain messy individuals who claim they’re not being messy all the while being messy. Claiming they’re for BW yet are the first to kick up drama over not getting a shout out or recognition. There’s nothing that’s being said that hasn’t been said before yet I never hear those ladies being shouted out. In the end your vibe attracts your tribe and if what’s being delivered isn’t for you go to where it is and leave others be. It’s hard supporting different BW when all BW want to do is fight. In videos, in comment sections, just everywhere. We as women need to learn to agree to disagree. All this beefing is getting old. Every other week there’s some new beef about nothing if you ask me.
Excellent live. BW need to make up their minds. Either you gonna divest or keep it moving. With regards to the while abort black babies movement, totally agree! Why go through something as traumatic as an abortion by continually sleeping with BM if you don’t like them? 🙄 Make it make sense!
Excellent commentary!!! You have been saying a lot of this for a while but many of us are so broken that we can’t receive the message . Also, there is a lot of jealousy amongst black women. Many just want to dominate the space. Like you said, everyone cannot provide everything that someone needs. That is why diversity of messages is a good thing. If someone’s message doesn’t gel with your, you can disagree without being disrespectful. We haven’t learned that lesson. Based on our programming (how we are raised and indoctrinated), I not very hopeful that we will. Keep doing what you doing.
This was good. I agree with all of it. We know the lowest class platform too lol. But all these spaces are necessary. Just keep differentiating yourself and you'll be straight, and so will everyone else. The divestor space is harsh and ugly. But that's what exposing the truth is - IF you want real change and awakening. And we can all see their savage approach IS effective at calling at the toxicity that needs to be cleansed. The last part on dating- Older men stay invested in me because of my intellectual prowess. They are happy to call me back because they also can learn from me in addition to the fun and flirty time we have together. They have too much class to get invested in anyone who they can't be proud to be introduced to their classy families. They are not playing. I go for the business class or white collar professional.
@@simonelauren6604 exactly. Like wtf? "Stay investing in me" With bw, there are a whole bunch of euphemisms to go around the fact that men ARE NOT MARRYING BW. Sleeping with you or using up your youth until you're not needed any longer is not a flex.
@@leilanirose3274 exactly I’m 19 and the oldest I would date is 3 years above & even then it feels weird because I’m a freshman so anyone 3 years plus is a senior or over
@@LorenCognita age has nothing to do with it. Whilst I’m 19, I’m a first year law student in London, specialising in corporate law and interning at Pfizer. I get to see directly how people’s lives have been affected by the pandemic & naturally as a law student I get to learn about all the issues in life. So no age has nothing to do with it. Look at Rednecks and dusties all of them are pushing 40 and sharing one brain cell amongst each other.
Thank for addressing the abort blk boy propaganda. It’s very much manufactured outrage. What man from any creed, would beg a woman to have his child that he does not want to raise? I don’t understand how this would make blk men mad. It sounds like a personal problem (she finds dusties attractive but problematic af and doesn’t want kids) and this is trying to be marketed as a collective problem.
Yes I agree Chrissie. Everyone should be able to do your own thing without being policed. You're all adults. I'm gonna do what I feel is best for me and my imagine and don't give a damn about anyone's opinion. And everyone should do the same IMO.
When Chrissie was talking about her stepfather, it reminded me of something a character in the movie cadillac records said to Leonard Chess. The character was the father of the girl Leonard Chess(soon to be owner of cadillac records) wanted to marry. But since Leonard didn't own a record company or any other business at the time, the girl's father was basically like, why should I let her marry you...do you think I worked this hard for her to marry a man that has less than me. He pretty much said he (Leonard Chess) wasn't good enough for her at the time, and that he wanted to be with a man who had more than he had...a well off man. This is what most men who actually love their daughters want for them.
@@ElegantPaws01 yes, exactly. People act like it's gold digging, but in actuality, it's just common sense. Parents used to tell their children I want you to do better than me, which also at times meant getting with well off people.....i.e. no one broke. Ya know, there has even been research done which shows that if parents live in poverty, most likely their children will grow up to live in poverty too. However, if parents are wealthy or just middle class, their children grow up to live in those things as well. This is why the wealthy & well off don't want their children getting with broke or broke minded people. Its not good for the family or their legacy.
I’m glad you addressed some of the ways other bw in this space shun other bw for not being radical. I have bm children and have gotten shamed in this bwe space over that. Some of these women are really just as psycho as KS followers.
I thought I was bugging, or being sensitive… I’m a new member in a Divested group on facebook. I explained under a post about how my great uncle who raised me is really a big contribution to me being divested. He put me on game to black men, and encouraged me to date out. My comment got reported or something because it ended up being deleted. I could tell by the language the other women in the group use toward black men, that the admin (there’s only 1 for a group of over 600 women) that the admin had to had to deleted it. Any of us that mention having good black male role models they say our ‘unicorns’ (lol) don’t speak for the collective. Not like we said it did, though…
"We're women. You're a man we're not. We have to worry about being women." Girl I laughed soooooooo hard when you responded to the female identified man @ 48:00! "I said what I said." Girl lol I loved it
The anger exhibited by some bwe creators is dangerous. Nobody will worship you. Life does not revolve around 1 person's rules. Let others be. That's life.
It's a POWER thing. It's also something (power) that's addictive. These algorithms set in this platform and many, will easily make some even more susceptible to not giving into what POWER can make someone feel like, heading a channel where there's constant updating on how many followers "subscribers" one has. This terminology instead of even calling us "engagers" gives off giving ego trips to many vloggers. In the case of one that was sued, it shows that the higher one (a content creator) ascends with "subscribers", the more difficult it can be to not start sliding off the ethics ladder, not get entitled, or expect worshipping from the audience that tunes in for commentary, gossip, or strategy.
Excellent show Chrissie well I’m middle-aged I was there when the OG BWE/divestment movement started on Facebook and the blogs I came through in 2009 I had a platform for seven years called Black Women With Other Brothers I was like OG Pink ColorTherapy queen from 2012 to 2019 on FB If you could imagine I have tons of stories Unfortunately there are some Authoritarians and Queen bee’s A couple of the same old characters still being dramatic I eat the meat and I spit out the bones Like I said I’m an old head on the scene and there’s just a bit too much anger being too freely expressed and too much vulgarity but I’m back on the scene presenting my new take on things.
I don’t agree with everything you said, but this video needed to be done. BWE content isn’t a hierarchy system. That mindset is scary and is triggering for those of us who’ve lived that “One way is the right way” life. PTSD is real and our spaces should be safe havens and not spaces to make us do exactly what BM spaces want us to do. WE ARE NOT A MONOLITH, so stop trying to make us one. From this day forth please remember that two different things can exist in the same space when there’s a common goal. The common goal is Black Women choosing themselves first in all things WITHOUT feeling sorry for it. If you call it divesting, fine. If you call it self-love, that’s also fine. But cut the crap and focus on your content. If you loose followers, take it that you’ve done your job. Allow that bw the sister to find her way, otherwise you’re no different than some of the abuse we’ve survived.
That's why I support black women....unity is necessary... I watched BW hate on Oprah and Gail over Kobe and Michael Jackson...men who wouldn't even allow you in a black party
Thankful you've graced us with your presence 😂 I full heartedly agree with everything you said. Looking forward to seeing more of your video's ❤ Greetings from 🇳🇱 The Netherlands
Thank you Chrissie! You're doing for Black women what more Black men need to do to themselves. Check the foolishness of your peers. We don't need to project our hurt/triggers onto black men just to make ourselves feel better...but we CAN point out the trash traits among them and encourage our sisters to level up & avoid them at all costs. I understand & support not putting all your eggs in one basket but the current divestment community is very much INVESTED. It's a smart move to distance yourself.
I'm not trying to tell you what type of content to create but I would LOVE for you to create a video about how a lot of mixed &/or Lighter skin black women typically don't care when BM are abusive towards dark skin black girls & women BUT they want empathy & sympathy from dark skin BW when a BM sh!ts on them, beats them df down or down right k!lls them and how it's OK for mixed &/or light skinned BW to mock dark skinned black females pain especially in regards to domestic violence
I’m only a few minutes into this, but I feel that there is something I need to comment on. So I am in fact a white guy who stumbled onto “BWE” stuff back during the original 2020 lockdown thanks to the almighty algorithm. It has been very illuminating to hear from people like Chrissie talk about things that I had no prior knowledge of, but I must say that the divestment people do tend to make me uneasy. I understand the frustration, but the dehumanizing name-calling of black men that comes across like the female equivalent of “red pill rage” and the simultaneous worship of non-black men is rather off-putting. Like I personally do work hard and try my best to be a good person, but at the end of the day I am just a man like any other and I am not deserving of worship for my skin tone, my work ethic, or any other reason and I would as such feel very uncomfortable to be with someone who expresses in person the things divesters say online. And the degrading name-calling is unpleasant for obvious reasons even if I understand what motivates it. If needed, these people should definitely seek out therapy to help them figure things out and they should definitely not look to relationships with non-black men as a way to try to fix their problems because that will only lead to disappointment and pain for both parties.
@@LorenCognita Yeah I understand what causes it; I just hope that they don’t get themselves hurt on their way through that stage by thinking that any other men are a magical cure thus setting themselves up for more abuse but in a different color.
I am late to these three (3) videos abt the ridiculousness happening in BWE/DIV wing. At this point, I don't identify as a divester even though my partner is a non BM. Just bc I 'date out' doesn't mean I don't GAF abt BW's image. If Chappelle, Kanye (two extremely divested men) etc. talk their sht imma talk mine.
Ever heard, when you meet a man, get his views on KS or manosphere talking points? That tells you what kind of man he is. Or, when a person can't stop talking about his ex, run! They're not over them. It's the same when women can't stop berating BM (obsessive) or women who are always spewing out negativity. Some content creators are down right angry, and so are their followers. If you hang around them long enough, you'll be "A Negative Nancy" too. It's not about being angry or venting. We all do. It's normal to vent when someone pi** es you off. But the negative persona LIVES this: They're generally against positive things or things getting better; the need to control others; the inability to stay in their own lane, jealousy/envy, hatred; always some mess going on, always drama or friction with someone; a narcissist. Last, but not least - PROJECTION= They accuse you of doing what they're doing. They believe it's totally justified to be this way because it's somebody else's fault. You can find this in BW/BM content creators, followers - anybody! Though you may sometimes be a target, don't introvert on it, it's not really about you. It's better to expect this nonsense than to be surprised by it. It's less disturbing when you know what kind of person you're looking at.
Lmaooo this is mad funny chrissie went in - glad you ar done helping people that dont want to be help. We cant save everyone. The ignorant black women - let them be. I think should start a new channel - this is a losing battle- help young girls in other ways.
For Chrissie and anyone who wants an interesting read: The Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson, is a book that really is VERY interesting, it seems to be a whole way to complement healing and really learning what the "password" is to us as a comprehensive system of thoughts, messages, genetic expressions, conditions, emotions, triggers, etc. This BOOK is a gift, will transform and spiritually fortify the reader. Your experiences are real, the traumas are real, the celebrations are real, and they encode, or manifest in the body in different ways. The book unpacks how that may happen and really opens solutions up. Please look it up, wanted to share.
I don't know why folks can't see that a lot of these women just want bm. Who has time to create 5 hour lives about bm if one is swirling so successfully with "snow kings." And why doesn't anyone talk about the fact that these ladies are simply switching their male worship from bm to wm? Why ARE wm even being praised ...for anything? Wm have built the WORLD for Ww and they don't say a PEEP. Maybe bw need to sit back, be humble, and learn from other groups of women. Doing it ALL WRONG. Not even Asian women are being this thirsty. Maybe we should clue in to realize that the less attention you give men, the more they ACTUALLY WANT YOU. Bw do TOO DAMN MUCH! Every concept doesn't have to be run into the ground.
You were my first introduction to BWE (my sister introduced you to me years ago). I appreciate you Chrissie and how you cut thru the disingenuousness on these UA-cam Streets. Keep being you. Much love 💕!
I totally relate with you Chrissie, you had you step-dad teaching you to date hypergamous I have my father as an example to date hypergamous. Even when he was not with my mother anymore he still paid all of her bills and gave her the house he build for us.
I don’t agree with everything you say I definitely can’t get on my public platform and say abort black make babies but listen I SEE AND HEAR YALL 💯 Continue to be levelheaded❤️
I usually don't comment but I've been here a very long time and the person playing your old recording definitely had revisionist history. I saw that whole thing go down. She was absolutely the ringleader of the trauma porn that's entered these spaces.
I just wish both spaces could stop with the name calling and actually try help and educate black people. Accs.. like this, Paris, kevin samuels, Oshae, etc. helped me understand certain things that I didn’t understand.
Honestly, I listen to BWE content because I don’t watch tv and it help time go by. I didn’t know the community was such a shit show all around. Other than that, this stuff is just stuff on the internet. Obviously I take from some of it, but overall it’s just stuff. I listen to all sides. Although lurking on some bm channels just to hear what they’re talking and most -if not all are just full it.
ElegantPaws01: I thought I was the only ONE! Or is it that they tried it w/o the birth control/contraceptives and now it's an addiction...I don't get it.
Also Chrissie I have to say that while I am not a dark skin BW, I soooo appreciate your intellect and your motivation behind what you do . I think there is room for everyone in the space but I must say that I totally agree with everything you said here . There is a lot of hypocrisy going on and I will share this … and it’s my opinion… on the smoke 💨 vid that was taken down … a certain very feminine demure BW called in asking why the host still sleeps 🛌 with BM and all hell broke loose . All 3 women hanged up on this caller in the most disgusting way. Now I then commented as well as others and we were blocked … now the interesting 🤔 part is that the caller has a very distinctive voice, I won’t name but I noticed there after that a certain content creator started crying and ranting about the toxic side of the divestment movement.. I found her approach a bit passive aggressive but I do listen to some of her commentary… I think the lines are so blurred now that we as BW just have to be sensible and chew the meat and spit out the bones 🦴
I don’t care if your divested, BWL, rachet, or etc. just stay on code and be pro black women first when we come up against anything that hurts us as a whole. It’s that simple.
This one 💯
BW themselves hurt us as a whole more than anyone else.

That part! 💯
Same. I gave it a week, learned what I needed to learn, and moved on from it.
Right I can remember feeling ok but I came across too many negative posts & my mood/energy would change very suddenly, that's SO NOT healthy to constantly be in that sort of state

Thank you, Chrissie for a good live. May not agree with some stuff you said but thanks for honesty and seeing the bs, calling it out.😘🤗
Chrissie could you do a whole video dedicated to the whole "hitting the wall" thing?

I think it's very abusive when these men say that crap I'm tired of hearing it
That's the most asinine thing I see on social media.

Agreed 💯. It was on point.
I agree. IDC how you justify it. It makes no sense. I think that talking point is only used to trigger BM.

What is "BWE"?
Never mind. I'm listening to the video and she just said what it stood for @6:50.
Exactly 💯 ignore them.

Exactly. We need to move in silence anyways. Unless they come over here with their mess, we shouldn’t be saying anything to them.
I really enjoyed this live. Somehow it made me release tension and anger that I didn't know I was holding onto since seeing some recent videos online.
I think one of the reasons SOME of these divestors are getting into it with other black women is because deep down inside they are still pick me's. They don't really want to divest. They are just trying some reverse psychology tactics in hopes that it will get black men to pay attention and come back.
Those aren't real divested women lol
I agree. Some of the stories they cover to make their point about BM are about BM celebrities I never heard of. As a black atheist, i have always felt outside of the BC so I know what feeling divested means. I often find myself thing Wow to say you are divested you know a lot of what’s going on with these men.

Maybe there in their season,I guess, lol...
@@melinatedvessel6840 I agree. Eat the meat and spit out the bones. I don’t know why that’s so hard to do. I hate all this in beefing.
Sorry about that ❤️
Agreed
100% agree especially with BW urge to place women that don’t look like them above themselves And as the face of blackness! Not ok!

If both Black men and women take the approach to continue biological divestment from each other, to mate with another race, that may be the future, the racism will be a little diluted-perhaps that's the rise of the white nationalism we are seeing, the deep seated fear of not being genetically expressed as Caucasian anymore, but only "blended."
That fear causes a lot of issues on the surface, the TIKI torches of the protests on the college campus in Virginia come to mind, the white men chanted "they will not replace us." It is fear of the deepest kind-being erased/effaced.
I think we’ve pointed out for some time now how bad a look it is for BM to shit on BW when they date out, so do the “divested” think they’re going to look any better to the nonBM they get with while calling BM apes?
Same here
Listen, all I got is that Chrissie, you said all the talking points, as articulate as could be made.

Hey sista I love Chrissie too. Wish we had this kind of content in SA
Yes growth is needed. There is too much attacking when one BW does like another. Alot of name calling, and judgement.
For some I think it's the "buzzword", not an action yet.
@Exposing Blackistan who's PM, just curious?
What nonblk women,the "allies"?
Yesterday, I was on a livestream with a b wmn who was relating receiving a barrage of email from a b wmn demanding that “if you really want to “help” BW, you would make your info/class available on UA-cam for free.”
Sis is pissed and is raising her price for the class.

Qualifying a mate is so important, it matters so much across so many planesssss
I made this point in a comment section and got cursed at, name called, and dismissed. It's the damn truth though. If we have a choice on who we lay up with, why not choose the best options? We have more control over our destiny than we realize.
@@doll.ov.poetrii4682 So true. We do have more control over our lives/destiny. For some reason, it's like people don't want to accept this.
I love Chrissie so much! The fairest content out there.
Excellent live.
BW need to make up their minds. Either you gonna divest or keep it moving.
With regards to the while abort black babies movement, totally agree! Why go through something as traumatic as an abortion by continually sleeping with BM if you don’t like them? 🙄 Make it make sense!
Chrissie is such a balanced voice
Her analyses are killer

Rewatching the live now ❤️love your channel so much !
The last part on dating-
Older men stay invested in me because of my intellectual prowess. They are happy to call me back because they also can learn from me in addition to the fun and flirty time we have together.
It is also how generational wealth is created. It is how all dynasties begin.

I’m a new member in a Divested group on facebook.
Truth
Everybody can get that smoke from Chrissie! Love my girl for being honest and consistent!!
Excellent show Chrissie
well I’m middle-aged I was there when the OG BWE/divestment movement started on Facebook and the blogs I came through in 2009
I had a platform for seven years called Black Women With Other Brothers I was like OG Pink ColorTherapy queen from 2012 to 2019 on FB
If you could imagine I have tons of stories
Unfortunately there are some Authoritarians and Queen bee’s A couple of the same old characters still being dramatic
I eat the meat and I spit out the bones
Like I said I’m an old head on the scene and there’s just a bit too much anger being too freely expressed and too much vulgarity but I’m back on the scene presenting my new take on things.
Since when Michael and Kobe are colorist? Because they're married to non bw?
Thankful you've graced us with your presence 😂
I full heartedly agree with everything you said. Looking forward to seeing more of your video's ❤
Greetings from 🇳🇱 The Netherlands
Get your name and your pictures off of your troll account like me LOL 😂 Chrissie taught me that lol
The voice of reason.
@@RampagingChipmunk Yes exactly
@@LorenCognita well said
You are a black male troll 😭😂😂. Go away.
I stopped reading at "worshiped for my skin tone " 😭😂😂😂😂
This is the truth! As BW we need to stay on code. Everyone in the community (BW) needs to move in unison for people to feel our force as a community.
I just wished black women stayed on code with each other, this is so disappointing
If only BM were as quick to check each other, as BW were to check another BW.
You said it all !!!!❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for speaking out Chrissie.
So true
Lol Chrisse came with the real 😂 it needed to be said.
Lmaooo this is mad funny chrissie went in - glad you ar done helping people that dont want to be help. We cant save everyone. The ignorant black women - let them be. I think should start a new channel - this is a losing battle- help young girls in other ways.
It's always "black-white-black-white".... God! Just move on with your lives people. Jesus!!
Catching the replay
Image is so important
She ain’t lying at @12:00 they are teaming up lol
You were my first introduction to BWE (my sister introduced you to me years ago). I appreciate you Chrissie and how you cut thru the disingenuousness on these UA-cam Streets. Keep being you. Much love 💕!
I totally relate with you Chrissie, you had you step-dad teaching you to date hypergamous I have my father as an example to date hypergamous. Even when he was not with my mother anymore he still paid all of her bills and gave her the house he build for us.
Love this live!!!
Again Thank you Chrissie !!!
I don’t agree with everything you say I definitely can’t get on my public platform and say abort black make babies but listen I SEE AND HEAR YALL 💯 Continue to be levelheaded❤️
@31:55 straight up 💯 I've learned a lot in a short period of time while in this sector of UA-cam... smh
BM come together to go against BW they need to come together and get some resources.
On point as usual 27:15
Honestly, I listen to BWE content because I don’t watch tv and it help time go by. I didn’t know the community was such a shit show all around. Other than that, this stuff is just stuff on the internet. Obviously I take from some of it, but overall it’s just stuff. I listen to all sides. Although lurking on some bm channels just to hear what they’re talking and most -if not all are just full it.
yo this live was funny af❗️😩
I'm here for you my queens 👸🏽 💖
#johnnyx100
Keep it real is code for=keep it low brow.
Has anyone heard of birth control? Since you feel the need to scratch the itch? I don't understand.
ElegantPaws01: I thought I was the only ONE! Or is it that they tried it w/o the birth control/contraceptives and now it's an addiction...I don't get it.
DIvestment it means you can divest into other women too. Lets not just restrict ourselves to the opposite sex. No? We have too much love to give.
Speak the truth!!!
Yes set standards...let's move on from the lost. ..I'm for taking the power over our images... and being examples for all beautiful dsw.
