Sadly the Tejano music has slowed over the years. Houston and Galveston County still keep it alive. I'm sure there's lots of towns that do. Let me know if your town still jams Tejano..

I made a special trip to San Antonio for Tejano Music Festival April 21-28 and was lucky (ok I planned) on seeing Elida and Michael at Cattleman's. To those of you who have not seen these two perform, you take the first opportunity. They were outstanding! Loved both of them and when they did their duet...omg I just wanted to fall over. They are awesome! Congratulations you two and I look forward to you coming to my town in Central Washington State soon so I could see you all over again!
