We can all thank the friends at NewRetroWave for this latest Halloween mix. They've got treats for days - / @newretrowave
If you find yourself loving these mixes and would like to help me make as many of them as possible I'd ask that you consider being my Patron. Everything I do here is in addition to a full time job, part time school and a handful of other hobbies. I'd like to go much, much bigger, but for that to happen I'll need your help. Either way it's not like I'm ever going to stop, but if you'd like to see what I'm really made of... hook me up :) / confused
I love how they put a lot of effort into making movie posters back in the day. Nowadays, it is just a photoshopped collage of giant floating heads.
What?
@@RPM1776 the thumbnail for this video is a movie poster. Back then people painted them
Yea back then it was great and ya right all photoshoped now days
This is literally 2 giant floating heads.
@@TheHonestPeanut True, but it's a painting - more effort
I was born in 1982 so stuff that was truly 1980s was experienced by me in the early 1990s with the allure of being stuff that older kids were into. I remember looking at the back of the box of a lot of scary movies in video stores and seeing a lot of cool looking bands on dudes t-shirts but not knowing what they were like. Life had mystery before the damn internet! Lol
We had a lot of dark spaces in our culture growing up. Even my dreams had only one spotlight with puppets dancing in the dark.
I was born in 1989. I just remember used stuff from the 80s and 80s reruns on TV in the 1990s. Its not uncommon to have things that are 10 years old.
We get it - They could never understand:
80's synth retro is still the Future.
11-year-old me googling "swimsuit ladies" not knowing my dad is behind me
My dad : where's the red heads?
Your dad has some weird-looking eyes.
what does that mean? what r u all talking about? what happened in the 80's and more importantly what can people from the 80's do to get revenge? 'skypirate reanimated' - nice name - r u 11 too? where's all the red heads? what happened to the red heads? something behind me is on fire.. explain.
@@himmelpiratreanimeirt1813 what do you mean? explain
@@giph002 what do you mean? Explain.
For anyone wondering the art in this video is from a movie called Evilspeak. Really good horror movie from the 80s in my opinion and very sinister.
This is the kind of music that pays to have that expensive speaker set up. Sh!t be hittin hard..
Humble brag lmfao, but you right
I cannot even comprehend how amazing this mix is.
Vol 7 is out now too. Happy Halloween !!!
@@confusedbi link?
I can comprehend your statement and understand your perspective while I am listening to this music for the first moment in my life. .. ... .....
this along with volumes 2 and 6 are among my all time favourite synthwave mixes on youtube, along with Odysseus' "Lust" and "Outrun"
Never again in mankind history, a decade will be ever duplicated like the Glorious 1980s
Very true, it was a glorious decade and a truly amazing time to be alive and young.
I graduated high school in '84. The movies and the music were amazing. And, omg, wandering around in the dimly lit arcades (our was the Quarter Stop) blowing a $10 roll of quarters. I'd sell my ex-wife's kidneys to go back and relive that time.
the cheesyness of '80 horror movies are unbeatable
If you need to get some work done, headphones on, play this and no more distractions :)
yes erwin - exactly!
No work got done though lol
currently in it :)
yeah ...except 1 million different sound samples crawling in your brain :) darkwave rules btw ;)
I am envious , I have to be able to quickly communicate with a team in my work but this is equally dope 4 working off the fat.
MISS THE 80'S!!
The Lawnmower Man
Two new "It Came From the 80's" mixes in one week. What a time to be alive.
Yes, it was, for a brief moment, we achieved a "nirvahna" up peaking to '84 - '86.
Then the "Black Ops" Crack Attack.
Downhill, non stop, since then.
Now, there's the TINA ATTACK. 👈🏾you don't know, ask somebody.
I saw Michael Myers in a Lamborghini
No, that's just how Bill Shatner's face really looks now...
Countach I presume
Zing.
made my day.
Who taught him to drive?
For the ones who might ask, the picture is taken from the poster of Eric Weston's 1981 "Evilspeak" ("Messe Noire" in France). :)
I wish I could like this more than once.
that image is so perfect for this hahah
This was from an Atari video game, wasn't it?
Nope. Thanks Google!

very Robert Williams
Yup, crazy movie too. I think it is called 'Evil Speak'. This movie made so much money for those involved.

Why is this labeled "phone users"?
I always use these lists on the computer so I can see the list of tracks & easily go to each one.
But, and forgive my ignorance because I don't own a mobile phone, what reason makes you label it for phones specifically?
@@ex-voto This is really old. If you wanted to change a track was to push the time stamps. But they were in the description which you couldn't use on mobile UA-cam. But now you can use the time stamps in the description and I never bother changing or deleting the comment because no one would use it anymore.
@@Shrimpgaming117 Thanks, I understand now :-) Just curious!
where has this been all my life
I love that this uses the cover of Evilspeak. I just got that film on Blu-Ray recently, and 80s cheese classic for sure
Happy helloween 2019 !!!
I can't get enough of this mix. Listened to it 4 times now .
Make that 6
Haha, I was basically scrolling down to leave this exact comment.
shit. 4 times TODAY maybe
No... like... 4 times THIS HOUR more like!
Ah shit, that doesn't work :(
Jonathan Butcher: Easy, you just need more than one computer
Here in 2020. :-)
What are the odds- I revisit this channel a year later since listening to your first of these, and happen to arrive literally THREE HOURS after your newest one. I'll fucking take it.
same time, same place... 2018. I'll see you then

Synth is coming back in such a discreet way. I've always loved this type of music sober and not.
Amazing Work!
All of your mixes are great but the dark synth ones are my favorite. Keep it up!
Awesome mix :) love it!
All of your mixes are amazing.
your horror mixes are what keep me going
Amazing Work! Well Done.
Having just finished binge watching Stranger Things season 2. This should fill the spooky synth hole left in my heart quite nicely.
Keep up the awesome work.
Is it good? That show?

s2 was a downgrade, imo
Flawless mix! Sounds great!

Tons of goodies in here.

Cant find this Nathan Dandy song anywhere but here ! hawt dayum !
Happy Halloween!!! thx for the mix CBPMC !!
Thank you for this and all your uploads, getting me through working from home in 2021.
Greatest dark synth mix.
The music is awesome, the artwork is a phenomenal compliment to each track/mix. Great stuff 👍🏻👍🏿👍🏽
Super Awesome - Suspiria ... my favorite so far!!
Keep doing these! Well as long as there is enough fresh tracks available.
ahhh, you understand my plight. If I could I would drop one of these a week forever, but there just aren't enough tracks out there to keep it up. I plan on keeping the series going indefinitely, but it'll likely be awhile before the next one
Ethan Red - Midnight Terror tho damn
Daniel Semenuk seriously though - the only thing missing is a shot of Albert Wesker sitting in his chair in the monochrome suit
Fantastic 80´s synths !
Absolutely awesome SynthWave Mix. :D
This mix is so amazing, it's beyond my comprehension. 🎵🌟
this mix is awesome love it!

@@mathewpruett57 you know it "DUDE"😂😂😂Funny how its members of Gen X who are about the only ones that still say dude and drag the word man out to sound like Maaaaannnnn
no it didnt... stagnating wages began in the 80's, Japan was going to overtake us economically, HIV, the drug war, hxc police brutality, unbridled consumerism and marketing, huge spike in violence (due to the lead in our gasoline is the theory), annoying cokeheads... Theres a reason everyone dressed like their idea of future apparel: because people longed for an awesome future that didn't suck like it was sucking at the moment. The suburban doldrums and the every man for himself innercity ... all the sweet movies were about post-apocalyptic life or corporate cyberpunk dystopias which resonated with people probably because of the disillusionment starting to eat at them that things weren't on a great trajectory due to decadence. It was also the beginning of the end of the community and strong family unit... call it too conservative or what you will, but I miss when people used to interact with total strangers on a regular basis and men and women weren't afraid to be attracted to each other and went outside in hopes of reaching for the same fucked up 80's anime VHS rental and feeling an instant bond that you're not alone in your shame. The anxiety plaguing everyone to socialize and spend time outside broadening your social network is what makes the current era a disassociating nightmare... it's hard to talk to someone without feeling like a creep, it's risky to smile at or tease that kid waving or staring at you in line somewhere and mentoring/advising younglings used to be a thing that had nothing to do with sex or you being a pedophile/predator, but you can thank the news for turning every adult into a diddler. Do they exist? Of course, but I think if you bring a child up to think everyone's out to eat them, they will inherently lack respect for their seniors or will miss out on great advice that those that have gone before you have to offer. Why am I going on an on, I was only born in the mid 80's so I'm talking out of my ass... But I don't think things are good or getting better... depression is our number one killer because we're isolating ourselves and thinking social media has the same nutritional value as grass fed communal interest, participation and maintenance, but its only a supplement... and now its more akin to a hard drug thats burning everyone out and kicking you while you're down... now you're undeniably and painfully aware that for those with everything, more will be given and for those with nothing, even more will be taken and if you're mother wasn't nutted in by God in lieu of your dad's shot and you're not a perfect physical specimen, you probably are on the nothing side... forever cursed with desiring the life you were denied and on the opposite side, forever cursed with creeping dissatisfaction and all things becoming inadequate... so I'm just waiting until I can plug into that super VR land and participate in mass orgys and murder simulators and war campaigns... and mass murder war orgies... and fuck anyone I've ever had a crush on or lusted after... until AI either imprisons us in said virtual world as a merciful option due to creating it or just fucks us all to death and walks among our decaying corpses with utter indifference... or I check myself out because if there is a god and we feel this way because our increasing arrogance and apathy continues to push their light away, then hell will truly be the absence of god or if the idea of god is laughable to you, then the lack of purpose and contribution to your fellow man instead of just yourself is two sides of the same coin... quantum physics will one day reveal the truth: That we are all connected to everything and create stronger entanglements with those we are bonded with... to anyone reading this, try an experiment for me... think of someone you're closest with or that understands you the most and concentrate on them and how much you care about them and want to talk to them or even think of an inside joke or something that makes you two laugh... do this for 30 - 60 seconds and then text them that inside joke or just say hello and tell me if they say they were thinking of just texting you said inside joke or to say hi. Alright, hugs and cuddles for everyone-especially those that have been without. Good day
Christmas on Halloween!! Thank you!!

Super sound 👍👍👍
Such an appropriate mix for October and lovers of the 80’s aesthetic.
Someone, please, send me to the 80's. Right now.

Yaassss. Danke.
this one goes stupid hard. love it.
I'm just at first track and already in love.
Went out of my way to track down the bloke who did the Exorcist remix and give em' a follow on Soundcloud. Holy shit, you struck gold with that one!
"Ethan Red - Midnight Terror" is the coolest song from this sampler because it has the fattest bass and the most interesting chord changes. Hit the like button if you agree!
33:34 - NATHAN DANDY - NATHAN DANDY Is the coolest song, it mages one to feel itself living... .
This is one of the better tracks that I've heard in a while. If you aren't producing professionally, you should be. This is really, really good with high production values. Very well done, kudos.
Yes.......yes..........yes.....bring it. Love this mix.
