Tommy was with Sabaton for 7 or so years. Although he was happy enough it must have been so soul destroying to be mainly in the background, although lead guitarist. He has so much musical genius and we can all be thankful he now does his own thing. His youtube channel is a treasure trove. Let's have more, please. Team Tommy ❤

Always so much fun seeing someone hearing this for the first time! It would be cool if you'd like to react to The Light with Tommy, he wrote it when he was I think 14 and recently re-recorded it to celebrate the 20 year mark since his band Majestica (formerly ReinXeed) started out. I find that song fascinating.

Tommy not only sings writes and plays the guitar, he also plays piano/keyboard, bass, drums, flute, Banjo, accordion, ....he produces and is just an unbelievable musician. You must understand why it is called an octave challenge! Tommy Johansson starts in the key that Josh Groban ends in after his pitch! Tommy then raises his pitch an octave higher than where Josh started. If you understand this as a trained singer, you also understand how incredibly difficult it is to sing out these high notes as Tommy is able to do.

In 2000, Tommy founded the band ReinXeed. Tommy can play 12 different instruments. In all the covers Tommy does, it's him, all the instruments, computer and camera.
