Another thumbs up from a tough guy to satisfy. Not many live up to the hype in the comments but this film did not disappoint. Strong, smart script, good plot, believable and interesting story line. Fantastic acting by both leads. Definitely worth the watch! On to the next!
Billy Zane is such an underrated actor. I love the cinematography and country sceneries of this film!
People ask me why I watch free movies on UA-cam instead of Netflix? Simply, the movies I watch need to have a plot with professional actors with no need for complicated, expensive sets that tell a story.
Older movies are better than a lot of new ones. Better endings better acting and storylines. I'm with you ❤️

Terrific story, the music is also inspiring and religious. It conveys the message that rehabilitating an individual is needed to be accepted, to feel at home and to find love. Seems simple but more than often it works well.

To make a good movie just keep it simple, works every time. Nicely done little flick better than all that crash bang whallop that Hollywood tries to force feed us with.

And to live alone there must have brought some real challenges. No surprise meeting the convict was a memorable part of her life.

A tantalizing array of intensity and softness with beautiful photography and staging. One of the best movies I've watched. The ad interruption was a bit much. That's a side issue but it makes sense to entertain for a good cause too.

Thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Glad to see Muse Watson from my little town of Alexandria, Louisiana in it. He later went to much bigger fame on NCIS. Billy and Kelly and Roscoe were outstanding.

God that was a good movie. I was hoping Billy would get away. He had to leave but damn, those two got along so well. That was the sad part, I mean him having to leave. Still a happy ending though. They left this one open. There could be a sequel maybe. 😂❤

I lived 2 doors down from Kelly in Key West. Her restaurant had the best coconut breaded fried shrimp ever. Billy Zane really should have been a much bigger star. Wonder if he got Weinsteined, too.
I hope not. I like to dislike him in Titanic. He should have been nominated in that movie. He knows how to play good and bad villain roles. God Bless.

I Never heard this movie before I found it. I saw because Billy Zane is one of my great Favourite. Kell McGilli already less. I loved this movie & downloaded to my B. Z. collection.. It's already 15th.B.Z.film what I have/Cleopatra, Titanic, Dead Calm,, Posse, Phantom etc/And I love Him as Singer, too.. He has "good enough" singin'Voice....
