OMG finally I find people that agree, I come back to this song and pretty much die every time that comes up. I feel that it should be an iconic iland moment, and in my own mind it is.
Jay is a good team leader. He is the core. He led the grounders in their "fire" performance, got scolded by Rain, accepted their challenge as a leader, and made their team win against the other team. In "Dive Into You" he led again, he made those physically weak to capture the hard steps and challenged the strong team. His determination as a leader, I am very lucky to witness it. I love Jay so much.
Yeah, I thought he was going to be the leader of EN- bcs like when he’s determined he really slays and everything goes smooth. Like he would be a very very good leader. Jungwon is also good as leader tho, due to the fact he knows his members and it’s caring, severe when it requires but also very reliable and responsible, suits him well too 💙

don't get me wrong, flicker team was legendary but dive into you is more my style. jay's leadership and determination was incredible and i can tell everyone did their best. it's so unfair how the producers ignored hanbin and gave taki and daniel completely negative feedback when they actually improved a lot. their bias towards flicker team makes me think they're the final line-up...

Jay’s charisma and personality is just sooo hard to deny! He deserves to debut. Also, Hanbin impressed me a lot. I haven't been that into him on Part 1. I was mostly focus on Sunoo and Daniel because I was so frustrated how they got high scores yet kept being voted out to the ground on Part 1. Maybe it was because he was a crew leader, Hanbin looked so comfortable when performing and you can see he enjoys it. And when Sunoo said that we'll see a different side of him here, he's sooo right! I know that others may not appreciate or see it, but I'm really impressed on how Sunoo can act on stage. He have that flexibility to control his expressions to fit the song. And I like how this team studied the lyrics too so they can understand it and give a good performance. Jay is really a good leader. Sunoo's and Hanbin's voice sounded stable here (for me). I don't understand why the producers didn't comment on their vocals? Here I think Hanbin and Sunoo did good on the vocals and I'm disappointed that the producers kinda value facial expressions more important than vocals? I mean, expressions can be studied and improved. But vocals? It's hard. I just want to hear some vocal advices/comments from the producers so that the trainees can improve too. And why there isn't a feedback for Hanbin?
I thought it's coz they can learn vocal from vocal coach that's why the producers didn't comment about it much, meanwhile they need to learn how to find the right facial expression by themself

REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR 💯 JAY - He has that leader energy, he concerns and cares about everyone. Remember he massaged those people who are in need, he told and listened to everyone's opinion, he advises and teaches people in need. He studied this song first and gave each other a part where suits them and he was the last one to choose a part. He CONCERNS his team more than him! - He even taught 6 people in their last task when others were busy working on themselves instead. He never puts himself first eventho he is in a competition. He cares about the team first. 😭 He also know english so he can be the representative speaker. - He can dance, sing and rap!! It is an all rounder material 💯 He challenged himself to so many parts even it was humiliated for him to make sure he shows his talent. To add more, his visual is undeniable too. But too bad, people don't acknowledge him! - The morning fairy, the cooker of the group (only him and daniel can cook on iland team before so he is a must), the massager, all in mom of the group material. How lovely he is. He can do anything 😍 Evwn though he looks tough outside, he is warm hearted, positive minded, so soft and sooooo kind. Honestly I really feel like people don’t realize how much potential Jay has because whenever he gets knocked down he comes back 10x better and proves everyone why he is here and in the debut line up I am going to keep supporting him until I can’t

A lot may disagree but I've put my eyes on Jay since he lead grounders for the Fire test, and until now I still believe that he can be a good leader. He has a charisma that makes even underrated teams into dark horses with strong stage presence. And even if they didn't get a hundred percent satisfying feedbacks from the pds, I think Jay has once again prove his capacity. Didn't mean to compare or anything, but I suddenly remember BTS' earlier days, when they haven't come out as nearly perfect performers as they are now, but RM lead them where they are now bc he always believe and push the members beyond their limits. Jay has that kind of spirits and strong mindset, and even if he doesn't stand out much compared to the others, but given the time I'm sure he'll grow a lot more. As Bang PD said, potention is important than skills and personally I think Jay has that. Can’t understand why the producers didn’t compliment them more. All of them did an amazing job especially Jay, Niki, Sunoo, and Hanbin. Also, I’m really proud of Daniel. He’s improving a lot! Taki might need to practice more but compared to Fake Love he’s doing better.
jay did such a good job in leading this team so that everyone could emphasize their best sides and he really made sure everyone stood out in their own way, that's a part of why i love this performance and it's one of my favorites from i-land. the producers really overlooked this performance. in an actual k-pop group i would say individuality is really important for people to stick around cheering for a group and that's exactly what they showed here. they killed it.
out of the 11 members, jay's personality wins for me. he got his ways to mix his anger with comedy showing his passion. i like this guy. very talented dancing, singing, rapping, and not to forget his leading skills. i hope he makes it till the end.

Mnet didn't even give effort to showcase Hanbin's high note which I found bothersome because that was his chance to show his vocals but of course, Mnet had to ruin his chance. This song doesn’t get enough hype in my opinion like don’t get me wrong Flicker was great but like this song is way overlooked. I always kinda preferred Dive Into You and Jay really stood out. It was honestly one of his best performances in Iland and it showed his strong leadership skills. Mnet played him with their editing I always felt they emphasized his fails/embarrassing moments more than his achievements and skills. Jay has always been an amazing performer and I hope more people start recognizing him for that rather than feeding into mnets editing and only acknowledging him for his embarrassing moments cuz it’s kinda sad to see him avoid Iland and asking people not to watch it because of those moments. This performance showed a lot about Jay and I hope we get to see Enhypen do a similar concept to this song.

Judges complaining about how they’re not a team. The system only allowed Heesung to pick his members, and who was left should group themselves. It’s not fair to judge this team with chemistry when they had no choice. Luckily, Jay stepped up and made it work. But producers still didn’t give him the highest rank although he clearly deserves it the most.

I watch the judges when flicker is up they applause at the beginning🤣when dive is up they applause at the end🤣it feels like they already made up their mind. This team is literally powerful. Like their energy is outstanding. I, honestly, don't understand why does the producers think that the teamwork "wasn't even there". This performance made much more impact than the Flicker team. I mean I love the Flicker team too, but this performance has so much strength and each of the individual has their own style to the music and I seriously love it. Their vocals are stable and it keeps improving every time, like please, it's amazing on how they done that. It literally pains me on how the producers don't appreciate and see how much passion and hard-work they had put in.

Honestly, i like this performance better than the other one. Jay is an amazing leader, like really amazing. Sunoo and Hanbin's vocals are from other world. Taki and Daniel improved a lot, really a lot. Niki is amazing just for existing, his dancing skills are superior. I feel bad that the judges only gave them criticism and leave Hanbin out of screen in his parts, like wtf was that? He deserves better. There was only one compliment and was abt Niki dancing skills, they only critized the others and made them feel bad abt their abilities, like why the fuck didn't they compliment the vocals? Sunoo reached those high notes and they were just: your face didn't match. I feel so mad but i'll support the babies whatever be the result. Edit: OMG, this received more attention than i was expecting. I don't have an specific bias, i really want the eleven of them to debut and i want Geonu back, but it can't be. I loved the other performance too but this one have a lot more of emotion so i liked it better. I just want the producers to treat them equally.

Jay's leadership qualities are amazing, he literally lead the fire unit that blew up the stage and this which is just simply on another level, their stage presence is just amazing. Jay's leadership skills and stage presence can NEVER be overlooked. He helps and lets every member in his team shine and show their best whilst being in sync with every other member, and leads the most amazing stages!

Dive Into You team deserved better! They didn’t feel like a team?? They were the only ones acting like a real team! They worked together, improved together, and ROCKED IT TOGETHER. Hanbin was always mistreated in this show. but in today's episode, when he finally could have left an impact on the producers, the cameraman never focused on him and, even in the entire episode in general, he never got his deserved screen time. Like, what can we do to make you recognize his talent mnet? this is to say the least unfair. The thing i don'y understand the most about the team comment is that its so ironic. Getting 5 members who fit the concept and making it work , is like you already are 5 steps ahead, an overwhelming privilege where no one will look too out of place , maybe they might not make it work but there isn't a clear minus. Dive into you team on the other hand had people who fit the concept extremely well and others who were some what new to this , however their strong group dynamics pulled off the performance , in a way that they made the concept theirs, even if it wasn't to the best , which in my opinion id 10 times harder and shows how they were able to cover their flaws and emphasis their strength's. JAY IS AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC LEADER !!!!
Plus they literally had no conflict! They had so much fun ppracticing and doing pushups together and they had a group hug immediately after this performance. Did the producers forget this test was abt chemistry?

okay yes i'm an engene and jay biased, but i didn't watch i-land when it came out (i was still traumatized with survival show haha). but, i finally watch it, since few weeks ago and all i wanna say is "He is Jay, he is my bias, and i'm proud of it". He's such a hardworking boy, ambitious yet he's still try to understand the others. He has a nice voice and people need to appreciate him more, appreciate his vocal, dance, rap, facial expression, stage presence, and himself. The way Jay lead this team makes me adore him more, and now he's one of enhypen's members, so glad that he debuted.

In "Dive Into You" he led again, he made those physically weak to capture the hard steps and challenged the strong team.

Jay’s charisma and personality is just sooo hard to deny! He deserves to debut. Also, Hanbin impressed me a lot. I haven't been that into him on Part 1. I was mostly focus on Sunoo and Daniel because I was so frustrated how they got high scores yet kept being voted out to the ground on Part 1. Maybe it was because he was a crew leader, Hanbin looked so comfortable when performing and you can see he enjoys it. And when Sunoo said that we'll see a different side of him here, he's sooo right! I know that others may not appreciate or see it, but I'm really impressed on how Sunoo can act on stage. He have that flexibility to control his expressions to fit the song. And I like how this team studied the lyrics too so they can understand it and give a good performance. Jay is really a good leader. Sunoo's and Hanbin's voice sounded stable here (for me). I don't understand why the producers didn't comment on their vocals? Here I think Hanbin and Sunoo did good on the vocals and I'm disappointed that the producers kinda value facial expressions more important than vocals? I mean, expressions can be studied and improved. But vocals? It's hard. I just want to hear some vocal advices/comments from the producers so that the trainees can improve too. And why there isn't a feedback for Hanbin?

I thought it's coz they can learn vocal from vocal coach that's why the producers didn't comment about it much, meanwhile they need to learn how to find the right facial expression by themself

- He has that leader energy, he concerns and cares about everyone. Remember he massaged those people who are in need, he told and listened to everyone's opinion, he advises and teaches people in need. He studied this song first and gave each other a part where suits them and he was the last one to choose a part. He CONCERNS his team more than him!
- He even taught 6 people in their last task when others were busy working on themselves instead. He never puts himself first eventho he is in a competition. He cares about the team first. 😭 He also know english so he can be the representative speaker.

A lot may disagree but I've put my eyes on Jay since he lead grounders for the Fire test, and until now I still believe that he can be a good leader. He has a charisma that makes even underrated teams into dark horses with strong stage presence. And even if they didn't get a hundred percent satisfying feedbacks from the pds, I think Jay has once again prove his capacity. Didn't mean to compare or anything, but I suddenly remember BTS' earlier days, when they haven't come out as nearly perfect performers as they are now, but RM lead them where they are now bc he always believe and push the members beyond their limits. Jay has that kind of spirits and strong mindset, and even if he doesn't stand out much compared to the others, but given the time I'm sure he'll grow a lot more. As Bang PD said, potention is important than skills and personally I think Jay has that.

jay did such a good job in leading this team so that everyone could emphasize their best sides and he really made sure everyone stood out in their own way, that's a part of why i love this performance and it's one of my favorites from i-land. the producers really overlooked this performance. in an actual k-pop group i would say individuality is really important for people to stick around cheering for a group and that's exactly what they showed here. they killed it.
out of the 11 members, jay's personality wins for me. he got his ways to mix his anger with comedy showing his passion. i like this guy. very talented dancing, singing, rapping, and not to forget his leading skills. i hope he makes it till the end.

This song doesn’t get enough hype in my opinion like don’t get me wrong Flicker was great but like this song is way overlooked. I always kinda preferred Dive Into You and Jay really stood out. It was honestly one of his best performances in Iland and it showed his strong leadership skills. Mnet played him with their editing I always felt they emphasized his fails/embarrassing moments more than his achievements and skills. Jay has always been an amazing performer and I hope more people start recognizing him for that rather than feeding into mnets editing and only acknowledging him for his embarrassing moments cuz it’s kinda sad to see him avoid Iland and asking people not to watch it because of those moments. This performance showed a lot about Jay and I hope we get to see Enhypen do a similar concept to this song.

Judges complaining about how they’re not a team. The system only allowed Heesung to pick his members, and who was left should group themselves. It’s not fair to judge this team with chemistry when they had no choice. Luckily, Jay stepped up and made it work. But producers still didn’t give him the highest rank although he clearly deserves it the most.

This team is literally powerful. Like their energy is outstanding. I, honestly, don't understand why does the producers think that the teamwork "wasn't even there". This performance made much more impact than the Flicker team. I mean I love the Flicker team too, but this performance has so much strength and each of the individual has their own style to the music and I seriously love it. Their vocals are stable and it keeps improving every time, like please, it's amazing on how they done that. Honestly, i like this performance better than the other one. Jay is an amazing leader, like really amazing. Sunoo and Hanbin's vocals are from other world. Taki and Daniel improved a lot, really a lot. Niki is amazing just for existing, his dancing skills are superior. I feel bad that the judges only gave them criticism and leave Hanbin out of screen in his parts, like wtf was that? He deserves better. There was only one compliment and was abt Niki dancing skills, they only critized the others and made them feel bad abt their abilities, like why the fuck didn't they compliment the vocals? Sunoo reached those high notes and they were just: your face didn't match. I feel so mad but i'll support the babies whatever be the result.
Edit: OMG, this received more attention than i was expecting. I don't have an specific bias, i really want the eleven of them to debut and i want Geonu back, but it can't be. I loved the other performance too but this one have a lot more of emotion so i liked it better. I just want the producers to treat them equally.

Jay's leadership skills and stage presence can NEVER be overlooked. He helps and lets every member in his team shine and show their best whilst being in sync with every other member, and leads the most amazing stages!

The thing i don'y understand the most about the team comment is that its so ironic. Getting 5 members who fit the concept and making it work , is like you already are 5 steps ahead, an overwhelming privilege where no one will look too out of place , maybe they might not make it work but there isn't a clear minus. Dive into you team on the other hand had people who fit the concept extremely well and others who were some what new to this , however their strong group dynamics pulled off the performance , in a way that they made the concept theirs, even if it wasn't to the best , which in my opinion id 10 times harder and shows how they were able to cover their flaws and emphasis their strength's. JAY IS AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC LEADER !!!!
Plus they literally had no conflict! They had so much fun ppracticing and doing pushups together and they had a group hug immediately after this performance. Did the producers forget this test was abt chemistry?

not at Hanbin being in the center at 2:38 and there's no zoom on his face. I truly don't like this kind of gatekeeping that is happening. I get to evaluate and see all of the other i-landers on a somewhat level playing field but it's always Hanbin with the lack of screentime. He doesn't have to be your favorite to see the obvious. idk who is more to blame tbh bighit or mnet but I sense a bit of both. You would think bighit would know by now what results from serious gatekeeping and cutting individuals off of broadcasts. Not comparing at all but if bighit is so set on not having him in the group they should be a little more subtle bc this type of unfair treatment with someone who has earned his place and has SO MUCH talent in everything just motivates others to vote. i truly hope we keep voting for Hanbin he deserves it.

okay yes i'm an engene and jay biased, but i didn't watch i-land when it came out (i was still traumatized with survival show haha). but, i finally watch it, since few weeks ago and all i wanna say is "He is Jay, he is my bias, and i'm proud of it". He's such a hardworking boy, ambitious yet he's still try to understand the others. He has a nice voice and people need to appreciate him more, appreciate his vocal, dance, rap, facial expression, stage presence, and himself. The way Jay lead this team makes me adore him more, and now he's one of enhypen's members, so glad that he debuted.
