This game was one of the best I've ever played, but damn if I didn't absolutely HATE those boss battles. Even some of the regular opponents made it look easy against me. I miraculously never broke any controllers but I never beat this game in the end lol

I played the Xbox 360 version, shit was hard AF. It took me 6 1/2 months and 7 controllers to complete it, and I even got the achievement for dying and continuing 100 times to boot😂😂😂😂

Ninja Gaiden Black is in my top ten, and I've been gaming since 1994.
It's such an all-around amazing game.
If I ever buy an Xbox Series X, it would be for NGB... because it's the only platform that runs it in 4K.
Sigma is on PC, but I don't like it that much.

You should try Ninja Gaiden II when that happens. Goated game, goated director, goated studio. Best of the best.

Idk if the best hack & slash because there is Ninja Gaiden II or DMC5 but this game is absolute masterpiece in gaming.
This thing was the greatest videogame of the original Xbox console. I don't care if Halo is my favorite franchise, Ninja Gaiden '04/Black was the best.
