Mostly Autumn - The Gap Is Too Wide

The Gap Is Too Wide by Mostly Autumn with Anna Phoebe providing the stunning violin at Leamington 2015. If the band release a dvd from the Bourderij gig then I'll probably delete this & buy the dvd instead for the quality, but for now, this is a memory (albeit low quality) I need to keep from the most incredible gig I've ever seen.

Ce morceaux est inscrit à jamais dans mon âme et je ne saurais décrire l émotion ressenti en écoutant une telle oeuvre,je pourrais l écouter en continue,mon cœur passes par tant d émotion, merci pour le partage

First time i saw Anna Phoebe play with Mostly Autumn was at sound check at the Grand Opera House she walked on and played on The Night Sky ,and this old roadie was in tears .

I remember asking Bryan to consider playing this when he said they were hoping to get Anna to join them for a show as it’s my favourite MA song. It was stunning, but the only thing with filming it for posterity is that i didn’t take it all in quite as much as I would liked to have done, it was like I looked up & it was over. Those people filming most of shows through their phones miss so so much.....

What a truly amazing gig this was, I was there and like many dedicated others stood for like 6 hours. But boy was it worth it, the whole gig rocked but the energy during the solo on comfortably numb was a new level of excellence from these guys. Just why this was not recorded I ll never know, it was dvd material no question. Looking forward to seeing them again at Bilston in June. This song is beautiful past words, looking forward to josh n co. Thanks for uploading and reminding me what a truly amazing gig this was.

Anna Phoebe made me cry when I first heard her play on this (in York last year)! It's great to hear her violin on it again - I missed it at Leamington this year, though The Night Sky is awesome too. If I had the choice of hearing this with an orchestra, or with Anna Phoebe, I'd pick the latter. I hope she collaborates with Mostly Autumn for a song or two on the new album.

Kevin - the Boerderij gig was filmed, but I've no idea if it was intended for the band to release or just for individual\venue consumption. Peter/'Blisterdude' - I'd never seen this live until last year - wish I'd taken a better camera with me, but you don't know where you'll be standing & I hate people who hold cameras/phones above their heads all evening so I just got lucky getting front row & a barrier to lean on for 6 wonderful hours!
