I was just listening to Avril's old music last week. I remember hearing her songs on the radio all the time when I was a kid. Another song I really like from her is "When You're Gone." It would be so awesome if you guys covered it one day.

So back in December 2019 I decided to sell all my stuff and go to Seoul, South Korea to find myself (was all I could afford). I walked on the 7017 Bridge a lot and I really missed my friends and family a lot, one night I was feeling my inner Avril Lavigne and walked on the bridge listening to this song. It spoke to me, it calmed me down and it became such a special song, everytime I listen to it I remember one of the best, yet stressful, times of my life. I returned to my country a new person, thankful for who and what I have in my life. Love you guys, this is an awesome cover.

This song has a special place in my memories. I started basic training in 2003. Music was in short supply and one time my company was heading out to a range and we got transport. There was music playing, and this was the song playing. 150 dudes stood memorized listening to this song in absolute silence like we were hearing an angel speak. First song we had heard in literally months. Still brings me back to then, and keeps the memories of my brothers that are no longer with me alive. Thank you for this cover @f211

This is a very awesome soothing cover. I really did enjoy the cover of Audra's voice and especially the guitar, I would buy a guitar like that. The sound of it is amazing.
Not sure which guitar sound you mean. Both seem pretty standard to me instrument-wise. The acoustic sounds like it's just an under saddle transducer pickup EQed to keep mostly the treble. Almost any under saddle pickup will do that, even on a $120 guitar (same qualities for a dedicated Nashville tuned guitar). For the electric, it's all in the pedals and pickups unless you are digging into the properties of a specific instrument, like a particularly twangy telecaster. I think you could hit that with just pedals on most electrics, though. However they did it, sounded great :).

I find it interesting this is the song for this week. Its another coincidence to me. This is one of my two biggest Avril Lavigne comfort songs for when I'm feeling nervous, worried, or at rock bottom. I've got a lot going on right now and today starts the busiest month of my life. I used to be used to the busy schedules I have, with my wrestling career, but with walking out of that last year, and focusing on October volenteering community events instead, its been a full year since I've had a really busy schedule so I'm not as used to it and that's what makes me a bit nervous right now. Being this song was one of my comfort Avril Lavigne songs (the other being "Keep Holding On") and this coincidentally coming out this time, reminds me everything is going to be okay. I can listen to this, feel like its directed at me just like I did Avril's original, and everything will feel okay no matter how much I have on my plate. Thank you for such a beautiful cover as always.
