This scene, the bike and swing scenes, laying a foundation for a romance but he didn’t get the girl in the end.
Season 2 please. This scene by concrete retaining walls is a masterpiece. The drone shots, the angles, the shadows and light, the soft out-of-focus shots and close ups, the music - just piano, the sounds - leaves rustling, birds twittering, heeled footsteps, every awkward breath and sigh Kang Ha takes before he deliberately walks over to the other wall to get her attention and summons the courage to speak up, the contrast between her expressions (pained and humiliated with her father to stoic blank mask with Kang Ha). Then he literally gives her the shirt off his back, something she figuratively does for him later (keeps him from being expelled). Perfect meet cute.
It was nice to see the boy having a lollipop and the girl a cigarette 🚬 or something.

His performance stood out, good Actor, the series is good with a topic that affects the Societies of the world!! I imagine there will be a second season!!
really i liked this guy since crash course romance, he deserves as main lead. his performance is so roller caster. his innocence fierce looks everything is so perfect. he fits into the role, picking this guy for this role is best choice of the writer.
Roh Jeong-eui and Lee Chae-Min are absolutely slaying their roles!!! Just absolutely incredible acting!!! 😄❤️👏

Just my thoughts:
Can't take the drama seriously. She's typically such a good actress but the definition of "meh" in this one. Her looks changing with every kdrama shes in is creeping into uncanny valley. Feels like the only one acting is Chaemin (Kang ha), all the other actors look like they're on set and reciting memorized lines. The main "bad guy" was horrible casting, he has a puppy face and whenever he's supposed to be intimidating I just laugh because it doesn't work. Not a single character has any depth to them, they're all "highschool kid who's a spoiled rich brat acting like what they imagine adults to be like" 2D personalities.
The whole storyline is insanely predictable, the pacing makes it either mind-numbingly boring or super confusing. We get 7 episodes and you spend 10 whole minutes on a useless supercar racing scene, then we get the cliché toxic abusive father trope but we don't get enough insight to actually care about the characters because the director thought watching a 10 minute footage of car racing is more important. Not a single memorable scene, not a single nerve-racking moment, the chemistry isn't chemistrying, the revenge plot isn't revenging, the villains aren't villaining. No depth to anything or anyone whatsoever, just horrible writing, atrocious pacing, questionable casting and mediocre at best acting.
Probably the worst kdrama of the year from Netflix. The premise was so good and the cast made me so hyped - just to deliver an absolute snoozefest. We were supposed to get The Heirs meets The Glory, what is this bs? The only people who are praising this disaster are die-hard fans of some of the actors, children who shouldnt even be watching this and people who are happy to leave it on in the background whilst doing the laundry.
LMFAOO the way U summed it all up so perfectly cuz seriously this was just a waste of time. This show was a mess literally gave us nothing at all 😭🙏🏼 I hate that I even expected something 💀
The only good character is Hera, everything is just shit.

i agree with you. this actually has so much potential if they put more depth into the characters. the first scene in ep 1 looks so intense just for the reason to be that. it was actually dissapointing. it look like it has high budget but the writing lacks. i see no revenge at all! the last episode was just the main girl saying goodbye to the other characters which is just nonsense because they spent almost an hour for a goodbye?? lmao, at least the ost were giving the feels tho

Lee chae min and Roh Jeong eui are not only good as MC on music show, they are also good at acting as an actor and acctress. They probably will be the best couple of the year 🤍✨

to play this role, reduced weight i guess . this role requires someone who's rich. rich looks thin poor looks chubby. Also she smokes in the drama. she looks innocent if she puts some weight looks fierce dreary with being thin .She took long gap after 18 again so people may find her new but just like kim hyeyoon she too deserves this breakthrough as fl being great actor and beautiful.

SK has too much obsession for Slim, white skin & plastic surgery. She did plastic surgery too. I like her old self
doesnt matter if she gained weight or not but her acting in this series was bad. Shes not the only actress who played cold rich girl. They should have found a better actress to play her role

That actor stays playing a toxic abusive father, his character was similar in the golden spoon lol.
Just finished it: This show is all over the place in a very bad way.
The writing is amateruish, the acting wooden, and the ending is so... bland and disappointing af.
The after credits scene seems to hint at the possibility of another season - written just for shock value. It undoes all the development of a major character and turns them into a caricature.

Honestly I really liked it. The story was all over the place but it was still connected somehow thru the end.
There’s gonna be another season definitely. I personally think it was fine. and to put on the acting it’s their character so that’s explains but still i understand why a lot of people don’t like it. It’s just not for everyone i see.

I was looking forward to this a little bit but half the comments say it's good and half say it's horrible?
Also I'm not sure if it's ok to say this but for some reason i just can't watch actors when they have a drastic appearance change (it's a me problem) park minyoung in her recent projects, hwang jung eum, choi bomin are only a few that come to mind right now. Only one who i genuinely liked after a drastic appearance change was junho (2pm)
So with all the hype around this im not sure to watch this or not?
My problem is they completely forget the whole “revenge” aspect and barely even focus on it but always give it a try. I saw the horrible comments but still watched it myself
I wish I read reviews before wasting my time watching even if it was mostly in the background whilst I did other stuff. The plot is nonexistent and we got more acting from the broken printer in Queen of Tears than from these actors sadly. I'll actually look up the director and writers just to make sure I never watch anything from them again lol, total fail.

Parasyte the grey was the last time I actually enjoyed a Korean drama released all episodes at once on Netflix. Tons of them have been disappointing and boring.

Such a disappointment.. the whole thing was SO MID from all aspects, very anti-climatic. Where is the revenge, where is the extravagance, where is the real drama ?! Moreover the acting did not convince me.. the writing didn’t help with that though but still. The only thing I really appreciated is the dynamics between main ml and fl, how writers didn’t turn them too cliché! If you’re still hesitating to watch it or not, don’t. Your time will be saved 👍
