What plant do you have as tree leaves in the tank at 1440? Baby's tears? 2. Besides fish, I keep dart frogs. Do you think this lighting system would work well in a vivarium/paludarium? Thank you!!! As a side fyi, I saw in another vid(from creator/partner...?) that the suction cups stick best to the tank frame vs glass. Like you, I would think the glass to have better suction. Either way, I don't trust suction cups either!
Hey thank you for the comments :). The the plants at 14:40 is a cryptocoryne, which one exactly I don't remember. For the vivarium, yeah I think it would work yeah, depending on the heights. For the suction, interesting, I would think glass is ideal, plastic frame better, I wouldn't never thought, as long the surface is clean but yeah, suction cups are what they are 😅
@@AquaSplendor I think the suction cups that have added hooks are the only way to go. If you pull down the hook correctly it creates a vacuum seal that is going to be able to hold & carry a little weight too. Especially the LED COLORCAST background light. I just bought the new one that you can control using your phone w/ wifi or Bluetooth!! I was looking to see if I could find someone w/ the new one just to see but not yet. I know I will always have something in the back of my tanks but the ADA is a bit more than I am willing to spend ☯️
Why does it come with speakers? So you can startle the fish right out of the top? Edit: almost forgot tip for those that want to use backlights on multiple tanks and want them synced to the same color I suggest car interior rgb led kits plugged into wall with 110v ac to 12v DC power adapter. The led strips that come in the kits are ip65 rated minimum meaning they are protected against water jets from any angle so no need to worry about drips on the strips.
I'm about to set up a planted nano tank and I'm going to try using Glad Press'n Seal for the frosted background effect. It'll probably scratch kinda easily so you'd have to be really careful. It's worth a shot lol.
I really like this kit. The only thing i dont like is the price. Ive been saving some cash but I turn 16 in a couple months, im gonna try to find a job and start saving up for this kit. I do have a question about it though, do the lights have a dynamic setting like cloud coverage or lightningstorms? Ive seen some tanks with like a cloudy setting for their lights and I really liked it but its not a deal breaker if it doesnt. Really good review too. Really thorough with it.
Question for you guys, would you like a video with only the backlight kit?

Thx for the review. Can you still see the background when your main light is on? I have a Fluval 3.0 and it’s pretty bright at times.
Yes i do, to a certain extent, but if you want the color effect on background it show much better when it's dark.

@5:34 best tip, is to put stick tape on the corners of each side and can peel it apart
