To an extent yes but you can’t even fathom the fatigue, pain and how that effects you in a fight. There is no system to account for that in the game... The advantage system imo is trash

@@Windbend3r hahaha don't speak too soon! Next thing you know when you get rocked or gassed in the game, EA implemented your input to be random. For example you're rocked or gassed and your input is to pull and counter and instead you lean right into a head kick

You can’t avoid a rematch in ranked.
There’s been a lot of players like that recently. Especially the leg/calf kick then overhand spammers, they’ll keep throwing that to get your fighter into that leg kick animation so you can’t guard the overhand or won’t have time to.
Or the spinning back fist into an over hand spammers.
People who exploit a games flaws to better themselves and ruin it for everyone else don’t deserve video games.
And then those are the same guys who have the audacity to try and finish with ground and pound when the spam tactics don’t work💀 shit is ridiculous.

Yeah there should be more penalty for quitting because it really is annoying. Sometimes you don't get the points too. It can kick you all the way back out to the home screen where you gotta go back into ranked, all because these fruit cakes little egos can't take a loss in a video game. Like when they know they're about to get submitted, quit. When you're on the ground on top denying all their predictable transitions, rage quit, on and on. There need to be more penalty where if you have a certain amount of DNF's in a given period of time you should have a temporary like 2 or 3 day ban from ranked, getting longer and longer the more you quit matches.
They should make it that throwing consecutive knee elbows heavily drains your stamina and/or some way the game can recognise when knee elbow spamming is being abused and maybe you can’t combo them together for a period of time

broooooo... i run into a jones player who does the same shit but the guy i run into also constantly throws the spinning side kick to the body and the spinning side kick to the head. Over and over and over again. Whats so crazy to me is i dont get how they have any fun playing that way. The fun that i get from playing the game is by trying to play as sim as possible. I love when i feel like im in a fight that feels like it could be a real fight you would watch in ufc.

The elbow spam, specially the spinning elbow spam, the knee spam, all soooo cheese. I think the worst is the jump spinning body kick spammers like with Max Holloway. Shit is so annoying. I usually just take it to the ground because most people who play like that have zero ground game. Once you get them to the mat they are helpless. 99% of the rage quits I get are from guys cheesing on the feet I take down and block transitions. Usually then I'll get a "you fight like a bitch bro" or something of that nature. To which I reply, "It's called mma not kickboxing bro. Not my fault you don't know literally 50% of the game..." haha.

When i face such players spamming knees and elbows, i use kicks and don't let them get anywhere near me coz that ruins their whole plan. They get easily frustrated and hand me the win

It's the most boring and unrealistic fight style in the game and I kickbox in real life so I know for a fact that if you do this like 20 times in the first round of a fight especially with adrenaline and getting punch your gonna be absolutely gassed by the end of the first round

They need to make the knee-elbow counters do more damage if successful, that'll nerf it. There is no reason why someone could just eat 4000 straights and hooks and lose very little stamina and health when countered
