I feel like American Pie 2 was the true masterpiece. American Pie 1 was solid. Then this sad movie with Jason Biggs came out called Loser. Then American Pie 2 it was so much more positive and better produced than Loser.

It is interesting because Stifler is seem as a jerk. However there was this movie with Jason Biggs that came out right before called Loser that showed much worse characters. I feel like Stifler making his special concoction was a shot at that movie because those roommates drugged woman but even Stifler wouldn't stoop that low. He just needs alcohol and him sarcastically joking "would I do that" was him saying "of course the drink is mostly alcohol." He wasn't trying to hide his intentions like the douches from Loser.
American Pie 1, 2, and Reunion are so good. The Wedding was decent too.

The first American Pie film is a classic that shares the stage with giants like Porky's and Caddyshack. American Pie 2 was also an excellent sequel that told a new story and showed how the characters grew and changed. The rest of the films and spinoffs were all kind of meh...although Reunion had its moments.
All in all the series is great. I found out about Reunion way after its release date and it honestly was a lot funnier than I was expecting it to be
i think so too. 1 & 2 are true master pieces, Wedding and Reunion are okay and the others are just awful direct-to-dvd-boredom. they simply try to label it American Pie in order to boost sales.
In retrospective I cant believe how amazing and well-chosen those original actors were if you compare it to other movies that try to gimmick the American Pie theme

I grew up with a bunch of buddies, a lot like the ones in American Pie. By the time we got to high school we were obsessed with girls. One of my friends was just like Stifler and was hilarious. I guess I was the “Finch” of the group because I remained in awe of a hot teacher. MILF!
