If their weren't body cameras on those cops, we wouldn't be talking about this, because they were definitely handling her with kid gloves. Being arrested for a DUI/DWI is automatic. Karen should not have made that statement. Like I said before, she should've exercised her right to remain silent. She gave that ridiculous excuse and now she has no defense. 😑

Chile, Karen and Mia be lyinggggggggg... Glad she is safe and no one got hurt. But looks like she tried to jump out in front of the story with that statement. I don't believe she was crying. I think she had a real good time with her girlfriend for dinner and got a little nice and tipsy and was feeling herself. Leave your dead mama out of this
I knew as soon as I heard that statement that it was more of Karen's mess. Crying about her mother?!?! Anytime she's pressed in a corner she brings up her mother. She keep a lie in her mouth! Thank God she's okay.

They may have booked and released her quickly. I have represented countless people for DUI/DWI. Not all of the situations go down the same. Also, she may have been taken directly to the hospital. Apparently the accident was quite serious. The car is jacked up. The airbag deployed. She is a 60y old woman. No doubt she was given medical attention.
The DUI/DWI may not have been issued until preliminary bloodwork at the hospital came back.
She has no record, she had already been given other citations. No need for her to go to a cell and dry out. Plus, she was likely going to be released on her own recognizance anyway.

The expired registration… well if she’s moved a few times then it likely didn’t get to her. I’ll give her that benefit of doubt. But the other stuff I won’t. I rather her come clean about her drinking. And another thing, why would this friend allow her to get in the car to drink after years and drinks…

@gloriacato7761 that is far from true. She is in her own neighborhood EVERYONE KNOWS HER. She was in Montgomery County where she lives and has lived for that last 50 years and is rich. There is definitely privilege

Well sometimes police don't always arrest people. They'll let you go if lucky or for some reason find sympathy with you. It happens like a slap on the wrist

Karen knows better. She aint address the car catching on fire and the people having to pull her out the car. Im glad she is ok but why didnt her friend drive her home or suggest a rideshare. I am disappointed. She is triple 20 and now has to face this unnecessary mess. 😎
