Australia has beautiful birds.
It's beautiful?! In Minnesota that would be a Buffett table for squirrels, they would be doing a happy dance 🤣🤣😂

Squirrels are going to love that easy access! LOL
Well, your video did put a smile on my face. The feeding station is one of a kind and it looks like a million bucks. Thanks for sharing! 👍🇨🇦

Need to come to Queensland
love the idea and it looks much better than a store bought feeder. The only thing i'm not sure about is if your area has a tendency to have rodents running around.... wouldn't this be an attractant? The only thing holding me back from putting up a bird feeder in Melbourne at the moment.
Great video and sorry to ask but what about squirrels please?
Basic idea is ok, although still not looking so natural. The problem will come with the constant cleaning of the trays, the covers were not wide enough either.
No it still looked too DIY and with no design or balance. Cats can still get up and squirrels will be an issue. Yet your heart is still in the right place!

Just remember it is illegal to feed our bird wildlife in other states like WA.
I’ve never heard of that. Why would it be illegal to feed bird wildlife?
@@MsMollyPorter because it’s teaching them to become dependent on humans for food and bird seed doesn’t come with all the necessary nutrients.
People that feed magpies for generations find the babies have birth defects.
I was sent a letter from the body corporate not to feed the ravens and magpies, we have plenty of them around.
We don’t have squirrels but I was told If I put seed out, might just feed possums and rats.
I’ve seen plenty of anti-squirrel feeders on YT and I laugh at the feeder which has a wheel on the bottom and the squirrels spin around.
I’m not sure if rats are as agile as squirrels. Rats can climb trees but they are not tree climbers like squirrels. Possums are protected, I don’t know if squrrels are regarded as vermin in the US.
Possums can be trapped by a professional and relocated, although possums are territorial and a relocation might be a death sentence. (I dunno).
@@darylcheshire1618 yes squirrels are considered vermin in the states. It’s only because birds stop feeding themselves and become reliant on humans for food. Plus what we feed them doesn’t have the right nutrients and birds like magpies have ended up having birth defects in a few generations.
