SRK is not all about acting or films .... People loves or hate him because of his success , as an outsider his success is just phenomenon. Some people feels he is rude but some people thinks he has attitude. His success as a businessman is also makes him special. So many things started by SRK in Bollywood. Just like Sachin Tendulkar , SRK is also responsible for India's progress.

Yash Chopra's musical 'Dil To Pagal Hai' doesn't get recommended enough. It's a fun, light-hearted movie with a great soundtrack.

I think the movie was ahead of its time. It had elements of the conversations between the new age teenagers, relationships and songs. Not the old school dancing in the fields. The movie is noted as historically, culturally and aesthetically significant in the national film registry. If one doesn't understand the importance of the movie, then that's a lack in understanding of cinema.

The 80s/90s kids grew up watching SRK films when India was evolving. For us, his movies were the most progressive & fresh compared to the earlier stuff. That's how his movies became successful & emotion of billions. Today's kids judge his films according to their time, which is hilarious. They think they're being smart, LOL

I remember when I first watched him in this movie called Baazigar during childhood (it was on cable TV). After the movie ended, I became his fan. No actor or hero since then has excited me so much as he did when I saw that film. The guy has so much charisma, energy, style and magnetic screen presence. Over the years, I am not such a huge fan anymore of him but I sincerely hope he will rise again with some mind blowing films in 2023. :-)

came with good start because roles were different but then went down the star route showing he didnt really have much talent only star power which hasnt faded. Now hes aged he wants to keep his star power sos signing back bigger films, not doing interviews to raise the hype, and co-producing them fr control and making money back from Zero. There is a level of emotional connection with Shahrukh Khan. Which can be because may be he is very good with his own emotions as a person and that shows in his acting. This factor is hard to pin point or analyze but it can certainly be felt really deeply when he is on screen. That's why when he does something it is "loved" whereas for others it is a scrutiny of how real they can act. Even if the plot is not that strong, "SRK" in it is so "believable". I am not sure what it is but it is different when "SRK" is present. He calls to your inner emotions.
I could only feel something like this also in case of "Irfan Khan". He is not considered a "Super Star" like SRK and may be he took a different path. But they both match for me in their "believability" and "sincerity" on the screen regardless of the plot. The difference may lie in the purpose they wanted to "achieve" in their career.
He has unbeatable CHARISMA and SENSE OF HUMOUR in the world, I repeat the WORLD !

If you’re after another one you can watch over and over it’s Main Hoon Na. A little emotional yet loads of fun where SRK is at his charming best.
I ve said this previously I ll say that again m 27 first movie I saw was DDLJ and since then m a hardcore SRK fan every movie name it and i ve seen it that too since 2003 every movie I have seen first in theatres and later on TVs I still follow this thing m frm those ppl who go to theatres just to watch SRK.....

Also being a critically acclaimed actor i think is a little different from being a superstar. We have great actors today which i think are better than SRK. In a day and age where Bollywood actors have been “accessible” via social media, SRK has seen crazy fandom for YEARS and YEARS at a level that most actors actually dream of. People usually come at me for SRK not being “good looking” enough and that actually proves my point. He doesn’t NEED those looks. His interviews, his wit, his charm & morals.
