There is something wonderfully surreal about Ever, Jane that makes me laugh my ass off. Kinda sucks they didn't figure out that Grounds Keeper was a PC though cus I feel like they'd have maybe not harassed them.
To quickly sum up the difference between the Parliamentary system and the Congressional system: Prime Minister isn't akin to President, Queen (or in Canada's case, the Queen's Governor General) is akin to President just without the power. The relative position to Prime Minister in the US is Speaker of the House.
Wow... going through the archives two years later, and it's surreal seeing a pre-Trump administration outlook reflected in Alex and Graham's comments and responses to the chat at the time. That outcome turned out sooooo much worse than any of us could have expected. To those who still equivocate and say that there were "two bad candidates" I say we ended up with the worst by a pretty wide margin.
Agreed. I don't think Clinton would have made an excellent president, but she wouldn't be keeping hundreds of workers from being paid so we can build a wall.
Ah, the good old days when a game about saving Donald Trump's life, as a joke, could be pretty amusing. Such innocent, far away times- The decades since 2016 have not been kind.
I really hope they try to get refunds for some of this hot flaming garbage. Never used the steam refund system before though, so maybe theres some rules about it I don't know.
Graham says they (LRR) have a policy against getting refunds for games they show on W+P, because they're profiting off the content by using it for entertainment purposes, but that neither he nor Alex recommend you purchase the garbage yourself.
While you have a point, I will say Alex probably isn't aware of how some MMOs have controls like this and assumes it's just like that cus this game is jank. In my personal opinion I've always found manual mouselook to be clunky at best, nauseating and buggy at worst. I don't know of any MMOs off the top of my head that are both first person and have manual mouselook. Also yes, I am responding to a 4 year old comment. Call me a necromancer.
Reminder that Graham & Alex's Ever, Jane account got legit banned for their "antics" in this episode.
I the Grounds Keeper was secretly the "developer" of Ever Jane and was upset that they weren't playing it correctly.

"Did you see the tank? They flipped the bitch!"
These people in the Jane Austen game must be rich as heck if they can employ Taika Waititi as their grounds keeper.
I think it makes sense in "Remaining in a dream" that you would have a key to your house in your house, and that you would lock your own front door.

I checked the page. The guard's name is "Dick 'Rock-Hard' Johnson", because of course he is.

Helps to have a map.

Me in the future: "*1 year ago*... Uh... Erm... Hmm"
mmmh. Kleptomari damacy... Such a classic. XD
Hm. I don't see this on Twitch.
Haha I can still see the Boom. Never change.
What is a personality but a series of flaws (or lack thereof)?
So is the ground keeper a real person?
It'd be ironic if klepto is using assets they don't have permission to use.
Though I doubt that's the case... XD
Some good potty humour in this one
Inverted look is best look.
I'm sorry, Graham. I checked - Positive Reinforcement - Requires the stimulus to be desirable/positive. (see wiki)
Should have stolen the toilet paper honestly... XD

I'm here from the future to say it got funnier again.

really annoying that Alex can't grasp the hold to look around idea. has he played an mmo ever? silly kid.
To be fair, usually MMO's are NOT First Person. It doesn't make sense to have mouse-hold to turn your view in a First Person game.
