- In this video, I'll show you how to weather the Y-Wing with Rust and create Copper patina using a variety of techniques. I'll start by pin wash the whole model using the Panel Liner Washes, followed by paint chips with the sponge and brush technique. I will add cooper green patina on the cooling pipes, create a 3D hole effect without drilling the model and finish this video with a overall rust wash to create stains!

"pretty Cool, Right?" (12:40)
PRETTY COOL....... SH**!! That is Freakin COOL!!! That must have taken a few tries in getting those 'laser hole' and the hole on the side of the ship, down Just RIGHT!!!
A SUPERIOR Build, and Thank you for telling us what paints you used, and How to Use them!!!👍👍👍👍👍
My Question is....what color "green" ( It Looks green to me ) are those panel/vents near the base around each radar nacelle (the front part of the engine)?? I Really like that metallic color!!
Thanks! The "green" you refering is rlm75 🙂

Superbe 😻 travail 🎉

Love the music selection... Want it on my personal playlist
Thank you! I get the musics from Artlist 🙂
Did you put on a clear coat before the pin washes? They really flow across the model.
Nop. Ammo paints have a satin finish (and toughness) that allow you to work enamels without a clear coat 🙂
What music is playing in the background?
What do use to remove the wash
Enamel Thinner :)
In my day, pilots took pride in looking after their vehicles. You'd never see a spot of rust on them. These young pilots nowadays, they've got no discipline.
This ship will be abandoned in a shipyard, waiting to be scrapped 😉
Great techniques... I enjoyed watching this. I did not enjoy listening to it though - 'epidemic sound' music is sooo exhausting. Everything sounds like an action movie soundtrack and it completely overpowers the visuals...
Thank you 😁
