Jesus “MEETS” him where he is at. Jesus comes to him! And then STANDS BETWEEN him and his Sin “I will cast your sin as far as the East is from the West”…. I was a teenager when this song came out and these skits were created… as an adult I see the meaning so clearly (more so than before although I did understand at the time a version of it as well”this skit and song is it’s own sermon and the representation of many peoples redemption story of their lives. Praise Jesus!!!!!
