Kim is so right about having a minimalist house if you hate to clean. I hate to clean, and I enjoy my home so much more since I decluttered and cleaning is much easier.

Agreed! When I was married I was blessed with a big house and had a lot of small decor and accent furniture everywhere. Now I live alone and have a minimalist look. Much easier!
I go through about every month and just decide what should be thrown away. I did some over Thanksgiving and will be doing more over Christmas and New Year.
Minimalism changed my life.

She lives with her mother, not working and NOT cleaning! Move and start helping your mother, start taking care of your child. If you were adult enough to get impregnated start behaving like adults. Their laziness is horrible. Poor child.

I grew up in a cluttered house and I can't stand clutter or cleaning. I declutter on a monthly basis, including my pole barn. I love my minimal home, with little cleaning. Had a friend who broke her leg and had to move into a short-term rental because her big house was so cluttered, she couldn't use a wheelchair or crutches in it. Crazy
Why did the father of the child move in? They need to find a place for themselves. You live in that condition and carry a baby in it!!!

There’s nothing wrong with family living together and helping each other. It used to be the norm. Multi generational living was quite common a couple of decades ago. Back when family cared for and about each other. Everyone had a role. Everyone pitched in. That’s the difference

They need help not their child taken away. Too many times kids end up being sexually assaulted or abused in foster care. If the child isn't being hurt then let them keep their child and help them with counseling or help learning how to manage their spaces. I've dealt with depression so I know how it feels to ve at rock bottom and everyone judges but nobody tries to help.

I love Kim's candor, she's no nonsense, holds nothing back and says it how it is. Just the way I like it...exactly how I am. But her English accent makes it sound so classy. She's insulting ppl but it sounds eloquent and I love it
Plus,you can see as stern and overbearing as she is being none of the homeowners are really intimidated by her. I think she is probably very sweet and funny behind the scenes.

Why aren’t the young couple with the baby living with mom still? I understand things can get tight money wise and raising kids isn’t easy but like if you can have a kid, you can live on your own.

I somewhat disagree, muti generational loving can be quite helpful for everyone. Of course there are some challenges, but many benefit for all people involved if they work together. Financially and heath wise. You can care better for uour elderly relative and have more love and support for the younger one.
My mother in law is very ill now, and If we were still living in the same house I could care her much better without pulling myself apart.

This show is almost 20 yrs old. Cable was so important back then. We got rid of our tv about 4-5 yrs ago and I don't miss it. Plus it saves a lot of $ to not have it.
I kinda like how Matt voiced out his frustration to his mother but not in a disrespectful way and then proceeded to vent his anger elsewhere and then helped out after he felt better.

Many people have made assumptions on here.
The more stuff you accumulate yhe more paralysed you become about doing anything about it. That's why hording isn't laziness it's a mental health issue.
I didn't hoard but I found it difficult to do simple things. In the end I got all the pots plates cups glasses and threw them in the bin because I couldn't clean them.
It looks like this woman is pretty sane to me. Am glad she got it sorted. And the fact that her daughter lives with her has nothing to do with it!
P.s Kim's accent is quite common.
I feel so bad for the mom. Yes its her fault in a sense but I feel so sad its so stressful having eceryone rely on u. Eventually u just don't care if no one else is either. Its ridiculous. They should help out a lot. Thats their baby. Beautiful family and they have serious potential if everyone helps out. Its easy to fall apart.

Kim please do a show like this in Brittain. Take your toy boy with you 😅.I agree with a minimalist approach as it is easier to keep a house tidier and to clean it too plus it's less of a fire hazard. Also by having less clutter you have less dust so cleaner air and more room for the kids to move around and play in. Win, win, win !!!!

@@danidooley33 yes I loved that show and watched every episode twice but sadly Kim and Aggie did not get along away from the TV show. My idea is for Kim to do how clean is your house with a male partner. Kim is a bit flirty and cheeky so better suited to work with a male partner. I think the dynamics on the American version work well. I loved Aggie on HCIYH but those two will never work together again. I think will be fantastic if they bought a program like that over here how clean is your House was hysterical that you could tell that Aggie and Kim did not get on Kim I think is a hoot 😍❤️ Aggie comes across as a little bit of a misery but nonetheless fantastic program I wish they bring something back again with Kim involved it would be brilliant I got OCD so I can relate unfortunately now I'm a wheelchair user and can't do what I did before and it is very depressing my carer who's incredibly helpful but it's not the same and there's not a lot I can do about but wishing everyone a happy New year let's hope this year will be a little bit more straightforward than the last two yours a very confused old Queen London

Oh my good grief...,. The host of the show were so worried about what is dangerous for the baby on the floor and after the clean up they give balloons to babies. Do you know how dangerous laytex balloons are. They pop and the tiny piece are inviting to a baby's mouth . It's a known fact they can die from this. The balloon pieces can cover air passages and it will suffocate the child my friend nephew died from this the cdc recommends balloons not to be given to a child under age eight. I would never ever give those type of balloons to a baby ever
They didn't give the balloons to the baby and obviously there was a room full of people to supervise her.
The mother is responsible my mum was messy so were my brothers im tidy but became messy when a teenager but I am tidy by nature

The older lady regresses to a child when she is challenged. She is very very mentally ill. She wouldn’t even get changed out of her pyjamas when she had guests over. She wants to be seen as someone that everyone else takes care of and will have a tantrum when she doesn’t get her own way. Her behaviour must be exhausting for her own children.
I think the pajamas were trying to be a bit funny. She definitely had hoarder tendencies,but it wasn't full blown. I bet her room starts filling up again,but she will keep the rest clean for the granddaughter.
I disagree, she was working full time so obviously no one was taking care of her.
