Good review. Have built a few Tamiya offerings of this kit throughout the years. Last version i built was when it was first offered with the PE parts. Can remember that i could not find the PE parts and was quite disappointed. Then just happened to notice them one day taped to the inside of the box top, just like in the video. Felt like a dork then!! Since then that is the first place i check any kit upon opening a box anymore. Do remember that this kit, or the versions i had built, were quite enjoyable - something different.
Hi mate Looks to be a far superior kit than the old 35051 1988 kit that I have. I know it’s the same as the 35279 2003 release, but your 35286 kit has the inclusion of the NZ350 motorcycle and the extra figures and fuel drums etc which is perfect for a DAK diorama!! Really looking forward to seeing your build Paul! Nice little review once again thanks ❤😊
Michael, I think I will be building this soon, the sub is now waiting on PE and 3D parts I’m going clean and label the parts that I can. So I may be starting this soon.
