Great to see Ant go off and get into his bag some in this game. Though hes struggled alot, unusually, for large parts of this season, so far, lately I'm seeing signs hes finding his confidence or joy again, and for him im thrilled if thats the case. Ppl forget dudes still only 25. Even with all the teams struggles I remember when Ant was first drafted, loved his smooth buttery shot since we drafted him sso young with zero college ball even under his belt. His shot has always been pure, even though he can be streaky what shooter isnt at times. Plus even tho his d is not good, hes gotten stronger the past few seasons and mostly tries. I've always appreciated Ant since we drafted him and hes shown improvement every season until this one. I believe Ant is a much better player than hes shown us sso far this yr, but we will see what happens or if his career takes a turn to a fresh new start in trades if the team decides to go that route and finds a willing 2nd party. Id not give him away though. This guy, imo gets far too much hate at times and is still somewhat underrated. His game does have holes and hes yet to show complete next level jump some hoped for but he can still be one of the hottest shooters in the nba when he goes on a heater, plus takes it to the bucket more aggressively than when he first came into the league. Id say Ant is easily a 2nd or 3rd scoring option on many teams in the league, hes been in an unusual funk so far this year and also had to deal with injury but lately is showing real sparks of the Ant whose potential may not be a true #1 option, but at times can lift a team and play close to it. At worst Ant could be a v good 6th man and he still had sso much ball ahead of him in his career. Im sure it's been tough on him, losing Dame his mentor and bud, and having to sit late the last 2 seasons, while possibly being put into a role by necessity which is not ideal for him, ie the #1 scorer and starting pg. Hes a smooth combo guard imo who can take the duties of pg as needed or with a second unit. He can at times show decent passing and play making, just more of a off guard who could be more lethal if hes taking kick passes from a Scoot pg, for example, and if there was more shooting teams wouldnt be able to load up on Ant as much. Ppl forget, even Dame (tha Goat, for sure another lvl) had trouble with double team pressure. Scoot is a bit more natural pg and v willing passer, and would be getting muy dimes if starting pg keys were handed over, remains to be seen what all he can truly be if he gets chance to start at pg and learn game flow, pressure the d and kick to open shooters and learn to pick his spots to score, i stilll have hope for Scoot too... Quick game sidenote, also good seeing Ant and Shae do some things out there at the same time tonight at least, and Sharpe taking and sinking some shots late in the 4th and being aggressive in crunch mins.. lets see more Shae, keep rising Although Ant may not be a true #1 scorer, he certainly is a better player than hes shown sso far thru most of this yr. But I want ppl to see the dudes been home grown in Portland from his v youthful beginnings, hes still got a lot of talent and on occasion he can do the damage of a #1, like tonight. He may not be our future, we will see how it all unfolds, but this dudes story is still being written. I enjoy still seeing Ants potential and smooth game when hes really going. At only 25, hes got at least 4 years of prime if he stays healthy. I hope possibly ppl can remember theres more to Ant then his struggles this season, and look not just to whats not ideal about his game, but to see tha dude stilll has talent, but has slumped unusually early. Yes, he may be being misused as #1 pg, but could it still be worth at least trying to sell him on the idea that he moving to off guard would allow Scoot to find him for more open shots or slashes, open things up while allowing us to finally give Scoot the real opp we drafted him for. Ant may not be perfect, but hes still a v good to great shooter, has some legit creation ability and can find another gear to score at times, and can find guys secondarily. Respect on your name Anfernee Simons, all love your way bro. Let alll those adversities become fuel for your fire aand keep workin, growing and good things are still ahead. Dame believed in you. I believe in your game. Keep being you, and let your play speak the loudest. Ant Simons is a good to v good player with flashes of greatness... Put some respect baaack on tha Name
Is it GAME Highlights?? Or ANFERNEE SIMONS Highlights?! Like actually, he played well this game, had game winner, therefore no-one else exists. Not a single play. Cool.
Portland potential is getting better every game!
Go Blazers!

We blazed them nuggs.
Westbrook playing great defense 😂
i like my Nuggets dipped in Anferno sauce
Simon’s did alright, now let’s trade him…
Uh no dude
@ uh yes dude. One out of 20 games…/ almost sold the game by driving in on 3 dudes and not kicking out. You’re weird.
@@sergetheflerge2014 bro I am not just chill out lil bro he is a good player still and he is leveling up
I like him, but he’s another CJ Mc.
He’s talented, but inconsistent.
@@DialloMoore503 exactly. And what’s the point of a player like that on a rebuilding team.
TRADE ANT,.GRANT, AND AYTON ALREADY. Give the keys to Scoot and Sharpe!
You watched the game? Scoot is trash
I agree with grant and ayton... Ant might have to stay cause Scoot needs the keys back to the gleague.
Simons (so talented) and Camara (smart) were very impressive.
And the buzzer beater- a real classic!
Made the winning shot right in Westbricks face, SWEET!
U can tell who was his mentor Dame...
Trade scoot
#FireBillups
The talent is there, experience is what is needed for this extremely young team. Expecting a big trade of Grant and getting even younger coming up.
