Neji is part of the Hyuuga clan, which use attacks to disturb their opponent's chakra flow, which renders them unable to fight.
Later in the games, he's able to shoot bursts of air.
New stuff for Neji: Combination Ultimate Jutsu regular and DLC, Combo Up changed completely, new Jutsu, Combos sped up in awakening. Basic combo shortened drastically.

It would be awesome if Neji will be revived in Boruto with upgraded godly skills since of all the rookie 9 he was the one left out in terms of acquiring new skills.

Yes, for some reason, it seems like it. It isn't true, because later Ninja Storms have the same effects/ blur/ shading. UNS1 uses color filters at times, different shading and such, which UNS2 to UNS3 don't use. Without those filters, it looks less impressive. The camera work during the UNS1 ultimates is also way more impressive. It doesn't actually look better - it just SEEMS to look better.

Neji's combo is Storm 2 is good though. Like the Up combo mixed with Air Palm in the end, and his Left/Right combo.
Weird how his awakening in Storm 4 can still decreases enemy Chakra (like Byakugan supposed to do in the series anyway), but Hinata does not have that effect in Storm 4 for some reason.

The reason is that Neji is canonically a superior Bakugan and Gentle Fist user. He was able to see Tenketsu Nodes (not just the Chakra Circulatoty System) in the manga and anime, unlike Hinata. Therefore, he could target chakra points responsible for chakra use, and she was limited to damaging organs alone.
So, this translated, in the games, to Neji being able to LIMIT the chakra bar itself (more significant), and Hinata only being able to decrease a current amount of chakra.
It was one of the FEW things they did correctly with Neji.

I love that sound, but it's overused. Sometimes it really got impact and seems awesome. But mostly, it gets lost between other explosion sounds. The sound fascinates me.
