I toured the locker rooms as well, my dad knew some people and installed a pool table for them. Absolutely beautiful Edit: they gave us a couple string bags, a play book, and a Gus Mahlzan visor
This is the stadium locker room, and upstairs is the recruiting lounges for potential recruits and their families. Auburn is currently building a new football performance center that will have a new indoor practice facility, new practice fields, locker rooms, equipment and fitting rooms, weight room, hydration station. Hydrotherapy, taping, and rehabilitation rooms. A star wars looking player lounge with gaming areas, and theater, barber shop, recording studios, flight simulator. Team room, position rooms and coaches offices. it will be along the lines of South Carolina's new facility, only I think a little cooler than theirs.
Brandon Smith is interested in playing for Auburn. He is currently at Dakota College in Bottiineau, ND, He will graduate in Decmeber. He is from Mobile, Ala. and stand 6'8" 370. He is on HUDL so, take a look and see if you like what you see?
Chris Davis on the wall to where the players are getting ready for a game and no Bo is a huge fail IMO. Yes, Davis scored the miracle TD but, I would argue Bo's TD over Bama with the Bo over the top play was even more important to the school. And this is coming from a lifetime Bama fan.
Need to used some of that money to pay them players. $500 a week at least lol. If you don't have to pay bills 500 a week can go far. Some of these players come from poor family's who could send some money back home. Some of them have kids already and all. But they facility is nice.
They get money per semester to spend on phone bills, gas, etc.. It was added into NCAA scholarship a few years ago since they realized players did not have time to work.
The bigger programs usually make enough money to cover the expenses of the football program plus other non revenue generating athletic teams. I don't know specifics about Auburn but Nebraska football funds the entire athletic dept plus donates 10 million a year to the academic side. They also use no tax payer money or student fees.
The football program is not only self sufficient It funds the entire Athletics department and then some. The cost of tuition has absolutely nothing to do with the football program. Nice try though.
The design is awful. Graduated from Auburn in 1997. What I find the most telling of all these locker rooms is they do not want the athletes to have private space, personal is allowed, but not private. They need them to be open. This will change. The athletes will have more say.
Seriously, Auburn? Obviously, this is gorgeous and very, very impressive. However, you mean to tell me you went so far as to erect a shrine in your locker room to that one hit wonder who ran back the Kick 6 in the Alabama game, but there's not a single photo or mention of Bo Jackson or Cadillac Williams? Wow... The inferiority complex down there in that state must be off the charts
Britton Thompson yeah right like as a auburn fan I think the Chris Davis picture is awesome but Bo Should’ve definitely been up there and let’s not forget Pat Sullivan
Cedar Digital we have 5 official national championships...Our university only claims 2 of them (1957 and 2010) but look it up we got 5 so actually it ain’t like we don’t have ‘chips lol
Locker rooms and fucking usb chords in the locker room dont mean a god damn thing. If your getting players for those reasons, you have no chance. You need good coaches, good recruiters, and players that want to WIN on their way to the NFL. Most kids these days want stats, highlights on espn and pampering on their way. By the way, Go Canes! Its all about the U.
Both programs are great. No doubt that Alabama’s program is nothing short of amazing. That’s nothing to take away from Auburn. There a football program that’s grown a lot this decade
All that matters their is Bama . That is why Auburn has never been to a playoff and only a couple bcs title games. All they focus on is Bama all year, championships is the last thing on their mind. Lol Auburn lost 4 games last year and yet Gus gets 49 million for just beating bama . Also Bamas facility's blow Auburns out of the water. Gotta have more room in title down for all the hardware they have.
Auburn needs an update to their facilities, and Auburn fans don't understand why plans for one haven't even began yet. It could be 2-3 years before a new facility is finished if they started this year, or 5-10 if they keep delaying, and if the latter is the case, Auburn will be far behind their rivals and even teams like Tennessee and Missouri, which are terrible and have not been better than Auburn in at least a decade with 2012 the only exception. Auburn doesn't need the luxurious, over the top facility that LSU just finished, but we definitely need an update. Though, practicing outside in the Alabama heat most of the time does have its benefits, with the recent Auburn vs Oregon game a prime example.... Half of oregons starters were having to use oxygen masks and lost their physicality in the 4th quarter, while Auburn got stronger as the game went on. They would have DOMINATED in an overtime scenario. So, maybe keep practicing outside Auburn, but make sure we aren't lagging far behind the standards of the SEC with our facilities.
Wait...they spent 28 million to 'UPGRADE' a locker room and the highlight of the tour is 3 enlarged photos on the wall and the pièce de résistance is..........wait for it............USB connectors to charge your phones‼️Man, the price some people will pay for mediocrity Looking at you, Gus! 🤔
Hey that’s pretty neat
Ahhh hi I'm a big fan! I'm here bc I watched ur video

Where's the rest of video & locker/facilities?
Anyone else notice they didn't have a picture of the best college football player ever?
Man, I sure did notice. Unbelievable!! I mean it was like 4 minutes long; we had to have seen every single picture they have....!!
@@fishermanmatthew4466 lol i dont understand myself how people are ..
Call me crazy, but I don't think having a picture of Tim Tebow in the Auburn locker room would be appropriate....
One could argue Tebow was but I think the majority of people who actually know about college football would tell you nobody held a candle to Bo.

Man get off that shit. Not happening!
They get money per semester to spend on phone bills, gas, etc.. It was added into NCAA scholarship a few years ago since they realized players did not have time to work.

JogBird football program makes its own money
JogBird Football plays for itself 20 times over. Football is the MOST profitable entity at most major colleges.
The bigger programs usually make enough money to cover the expenses of the football program plus other non revenue generating athletic teams. You know what to say!
The football program is not only self sufficient It funds the entire Athletics department and then some. The cost of tuition has absolutely nothing to do with the football program.
Nice try though.
Wait till you visit Texas and their new locker room.....wow!!! Makes this look like a high school.
Not really 🤣🤣🤣
The design is awful. Graduated from Auburn in 1997. What I find the most telling of all these locker rooms is they do not want the athletes to have private space, personal is allowed, but not private. They need them to be open. This will change. The athletes will have more say.
Gotta recruit offensive line better with more facilities in 2023
Seriously, Auburn? Obviously, this is gorgeous and very, very impressive. Yeah seemed weird to me the oldest history they have displayed is from 2010.
Britton Thompson yeah right like as a auburn fan I think the Chris Davis picture is awesome but Bo Should’ve definitely been up there and let’s not forget Pat Sullivan
They have shrines and pictures ALL over campus of all the auburn legends
Look at all those National Title displays... oh wait.
Cedar Digital we have 5 official national championships...Our university only claims 2 of them (1957 and 2010) but look it up we got 5 so actually it ain’t like we don’t have ‘chips lol
Aight. Still though...
Brandon B and yall have two.......congrats
Yayrwe only one can boast 17
Wil Hovater False. Many of those 17 are claimed by the school and not the NCAA. Check the facts first tho

Not as nice or cool as Oklahoma's locker room...
Boomer Sooner!!!
Nobody cares about Oklahoma.
Ok? Oklahoma struggles to put away Iowa State. Locker room not paying off.
gally turndrop They won
soonersdevil They won against mighty mighty Army too. You proud?
It's nice, but as a parent, it makes me wish they'd put a little of this money into on campus housing.
But hey, still no money to pay the players
Harrison Cable they get to go to that school for free.
Bammers are the only school that does that.
Kinda weak locker rooms for a power 5 conference school!!!
