Been a while since I watched this. Kid Boogie and JSmooth are world class poppers...
But I'm sorry, this was a fucking wipeout. Future and Rah's stuff was just on another level. They're inverting moves and floats, hitting hard and clean, keeping it all dance while doing blow-ups. Plus that DJ killed Rashaad and he still massacred it.
It's a tragedy because there are no two dancers out periord, imo, who the world needs to see more than these two.
Dope battle though.
I call robbery on this one! Future and Rashad were more groovy and creative, while hitting just as hard, if not better...
it looks like kid boogie and jsmooth bit lobo and jet li's cobra move.
I saw this year's ago and still say rashaad and future should have won this hands down.
That flute shit looked ALOT like part of Lobo and Jet Li's routine vs Slim Boogie and Kid Boogie..hmmm
@serraboi you obviously don't know what youre talking about if you think future and Rashaad got out popped here. If you watch the video again, which you need to, you will notice that while future and Rashaad are not as flashy as the other two they are much cleaner and much more succinct then KB & J. Rashaad hits twice as hard as those two combined and his musicality is head and shoulders above these two jokers. And Future has by far the dopest knowledge and grasp of angles and levels.

What really got me in this battle is futures control verses j smooth or kid boogie. They don’t have control when actually doing moves so basically I think they went with them bc rashaad dancing wasn’t eye candy enough. Bc anyone can see that they didn’t stand up to future and rashaad. Just another hit for the popping culture, just like now in 2021

@serraboi you're sleeping on Future's tutts, dude. He's doing unique shit: full-body, old school forms but totally updating them with newschool intricacy. Jsmooth is all-time with the tutts, no doubt, but Future is at the same level and he's coming from an angle no one else is doing.

@shuffls By "battle" you mean show? Anyway the battle was good. I like the style of Future very much. For me it is just a shame that he and Rashaad don't go to Paris. We will see again J smooth and I would have preferred to see the originality of Future there...

@MROKAYang they have different styles man... you gotta appreciate what they are doing in their respective styles. Future is sick at the toyman and so innovative with this dance. Rashad just rocks the beat. You don't have to be smooth to be good at popping. I already think that JJ and Kid won this battle but either way Rashaad and Future are beasts.

@shuffls Actually I agree with judges decision based on the fact that kid boogie had a response for every of rashaads rounds and he was a bit better I thought but Future was on par with jsmooth maybe slightly better.

you know why everybody is sick n tired of seeing j smooth n kid boogie's shit? it cuz everybody is BITING THEM. they won this battle straight up. j smooth is on some next level shit and nobody can touch kid boogie. Future's tuts can't hang with jj's and kid boogie outdanced rashaad. wassup with all u haters? yeah rashaad and future did extremely well... but so did MGF and u can't fuck with MGF when they're on point.

@earthmaster Dude, they are good. I don't deny that, but I am just saying what they lack here is the smooth and grooves. They dance really stiff and to me I don't want to stand up and wow. J smooth and Kid Boogie are better. But still I think they are not that strong. I don't believe they will win the JD in france. There are so many good poppers around the world.

OK. IMO...i pick J J & Kid. Why they were smooth in the pocket, and also their routines were more smooth. More versatile to me as well. Shaad & Future def held there side down but wasnt feeling there sets like other times. Shad seemed to rushed for as clean & patient as he is. And SALAH has been doing the same moves for years & winning battles but yet ppl still on his dick. Fall back off J J for real. Honestly he has been creating new shit if u truly pay attention.
Kid boogie is far much better than those three, they are not on the same level, what kid did was like a man having parkingson diseases, shaking every seconds,haha
