Thank you so much, Vicky! The screen recorder really is very new, so I'm sure Canva will fine-tune it in time. Let me know what you think if you test it out 😍
Oh my. I love my Canva Pro. I cannot imagine being without it but I did not know that it has this feature. They keep updating for the better. I subscribed for more tips. Thank you
What program were you using to do this tutorial? It wasn't Canva. I'd like to do what you are with the rectangular version that you are using throughout the video. Thank you!
Hi Nicky can you use the screen share to make react videos, so filming yourself and a music video for example? Is there a time limit on how long you can film for overall? Cheers
Yes there's no reason why you can't do this provided you're recording your screen. In terms of time limit, there isn't one but the size of the video file is important. I'll see if I can find out for you what that limit is.
@@NickyPasquier I’ve tried but for some reason can’t connect my microphone to canva at all and also can’t hear the recording through my airpods either, so not sure it can work. Thanks though, if you figure it out it could be a good thing to go over on a video anyway, cheers 👍
@@aisyahhumairachannelpendid1114 good questions 👏🏼 ! 1. I create my thumbnails partly in PicMonkey now just because I prefer the text editing options. Then I export to Canva for the finishing touches 🖌 2. Although I'll use Canva for quick screen recording projects, I'll continue to use Camtasia for tutorials. The editing tools are just excellent!
Brilliant explanation - thank you so much Nicky - I'll have a really good look at this and see what I can produce - looks quicker to set up than some other screen recorders out there ... or maybe you only make it look that way (Ha-Ha!)
Thank you again for such lovely comments. I think if you're making simple screen recordings this is so ideal., particularly since its free. I hope you enjoy using it 🙂
Nicky! I appreciate this so much! I have recently been thinking about making a Reaction Channel! And this tutorial helps me so much! Keep up the good work, Nicky!
Wow, I Like your energy & enthusiasm when you are teaching. Keep it Up ! I have got a doubt. In my browser "Record Yourself" button is not visible. Why ? Please help
Hi Nav, I'm afraid the layout in Canva has changed since this video. Go to the top RH corner of your toolbar. Click SHARE > More > Share > Present. You'll find your screen recorder there 🔴
I have not had luck with this. I find when I try to make a screen recording, it will not upload properly. I get a few seconds of audio and then it cuts out, if it does upload at all. I can’t seem to fix it. I have all permissions on properly in chrome for screen sharing, camera and mic, etc. guess I’ll be looking for another way to screen record. It’s not reliable for me.
Any update on this? I have the educator account and I have cannot see this feature, has it been moved? ~ do I have to unlock the premium version to access this? (it's been a year since, things change right?)
@@NickyPasquier Thanks. Support doesn't know how to address my questions. I guess it's a premium feature for the elites. Thanks though. I love to watch your old/gatekept videos of features that teachers want but can't use. Love.
Hi Tiffani, yes it is but there's a much better way to do this now. I'm just going to check that it's okay for me to tell you or whether it's not been rolled out yet! I'll be back ASAP...

I ABSOLUTELY love this, Nicky!!! I've seen the features but haven't even experimented with them. You've motivated me to do so now - thanks!!

2: What software do you use to record your screen?
Thanks,

I suggest contacting Canva support, this sounds like a tech issue / bug. Have you got the latest version of Canva? It might be worth checking.

Hey Nicky. Great video my frend. Thnks. One other thing... I like the way you teach.😍
That's very kind of you, Sujatha 💗
Nice video
very useful
Thanks for share !...
You're very welcome 🙏🏼
This is amazing! Thank you so much for another incredible tutorial! 😀
You are so welcome!
Very helpful thanks.
Just what I needed 🙏🏽
Great!
So, is this basically how I can do a voiceover with a recording of myself doing the voiceover to a video made of me making something?

thank you!!!
You're welcome Anna 😊
"Record Yourself" appears to be available only for Google Chrome users. What should others do if they don't want to use Google Chrome ? Thanks
Hello Nav, no that's not correct although the toolbar has changed in Canva since I recorded this video. Go to Share > More > Present and Record.
How do I record myself playing two instruments at once and having the sounds match?
Haha, I've never tried so I'll leave you to experiment 😉
@@NickyPasquier I did it, but it was a tad off on the timing lol.
@@auntdiane1578 oh dear. But at least you tried so kudos to you!
Mine doesn’t have share screen
Maybe you missed out a step in the video?
I don't see the screen share . I don't know why. where can I find it?
You don't need to do anything, once you hit 'Record' your screen is automatically recorded, as well as your talking head.
wow this is amazing!
I can't find the screen recording you are using right now
If I have to make canva design tutorial only, this recorder is not helping me.
Sorry to hear that.
How do you become a certified creative?
