I make kindling all the time for starting fires, normally small strips come off the splitter anyway so I just toss them aside and that is your fire starter. Hey guys, wear hearing protection when you are running that splitter. Hearing when lost does not come back. Quite the wood lot indeed.
My family has a wood splitter over at our shop that we've had since I was little, if not longer. It hasn't been used since I was in middle school, and I graduated high school in 2022. I don't know if it'll run, but it's a lot better than using axes all day.
Yeah, I don’t actually burn wood at the moment, but I am considering getting a boiler setup. I have the coils in my furnace already. The previous boiler just needs replaced. I’m planning a roadside firewood stand for campfires, etc…
I love my split fire that attaches to my excavator! Nothing better than sitting in an AC cab splitting my winters wood.
Yeah, those are nice!
Nice to have the side tray. You can put the other half of the round on it to split next. Take care and stay safe.
Yeah, the log lift is a must!
Hi Lucas, it might be weird but i enjoy watching log splitting. Thanks
Thanks! I enjoy it too!
Good morning Lucas!
😊 Good morning!
GREAT VIDEO, IM KINDA DIGGING THAT SPLITTER. LOOKS LIKE IT DOES REALLY WELL
It is spot on for the type of wood I’m splitting. Super fast on the smaller stuff.
Like your work. Keep it up!

Do they make Air Conditioned wood splitters?
Scroll through the other comments. There’s a fella has that answer. 😂
Great Video Lucas !
Thanks, Guys! 👊

Definitely better than swinging!
It's good to have a back-up source of heat. But right now, wood cannot compete with Gas. That is a nice splitter.
I can’t and won’t compete with the price of gas. I burn wood 99% of the time in the winter.

Bet you had a good lunch after all that work, Lucas. Good to see you both.
We sure did!
