  • Who would’ve thought that you could rent out a furnished one-bedroom apartment for $250 (or even LESS).
Bansko, Bulgaria is a hugely underrated city for digital nomads due to its community, nature, and crazy affordability.
In this Bansko apartment tour, we’ll show you some different examples of apartments for rent in the $150 to $350 price range.
It’s not surprising that the cost of living in Bulgaria is lower than in other parts of Europe. But what IS surprising is how affordable it is in an incredibly beautiful ski town. In more developed countries, renting in a town like this could cost 10x as much.
In this Bulgaria apartment tour, we’ll not only show you what these apartments look like, but we’ll also share some insider tips on how to find the best ones for yourself.
If you like the first apartment we showed, here is the owner's contact info: ivana.qnchowichina@abv.bg

Heyo! Mitch and Day here 👋🏼
We’re just your typical American-Colombian couple determined to live every second of our precious time here on earth to the fullest. After a 10-month solo backpacking trip through South America, I (Mitch) stopped in Cali, Colombia to take salsa dancing classes 💃🏻. I only planned to stay for a couple weeks, but God had other plans for me. I met a cute Colombian girl (Day) in class, those couple weeks turned into a couple years, and before we knew it...we were married 👰🏻🤵🏼
Now we’re traveling the world full time as digital nomads, supporting ourselves by working online 👨‍💻👩‍💻
Our goal with these videos is to inspire you to step outside your comfort zone, give you an inside peek at our crazy imperfect lives, and show you that you don’t have to be rich to live an extraordinary life...all you need to do is make the choice!

What would you spend your extra cash on if your rent only costed $250?

Adventures in the mountains, maybe a beach week-end in Varna/Bourgas, a fishing trip and eating out a bit more than initially planned.

Besides Bansko we stayed in Pamporovo. Nice little resort town. It was August, so it was not jammed with people.

My British passport allowed me to live in Bulgaria with no restrictions, but BREXIT killed that! I'm planning to relocating to Loja Ecuador when I retire at the end of 2023.

Grrr...I think there might be some hoops you can jump through, but definitely more of a hassle now. Let us know how you like Ecuador! Our main home base is in Colombia, so we'll be neighbors :-)

I really enjoy your videos and I find your information very helpful and informative. You speak other languages so I am really surprised how fast you speak. Wish you could slow down a little, to give your listeners the opportunity to absorb the information better.😩

@@ProjectUntethered @acptd One thing I do when I have difficulty understanding a speaker who has a different accent or speaks fast, is to reduce the "playback" speed to 0.75 in the settings. The settings accessed from the gear icon.

Yeah it’s definitely quieter, more peaceful, and more beautiful up near the ski lift. The downside is carrying your groceries up the hill if you don’t have a car and want to go to the bigger supermarket or the Sunday market.
