My goals this year is to start living more frugally so that I can take time off of working to stay home with my baby and then hopefully toward the end of 2024 or early 2025… have baby number 2 on the way. I want to focus on getting closer to God and being a better wifeJust all around being less stressed and more present in my home 🤗
Celest!! Those first 6 mins! It’s like you stole all the words out of my mouth. 2023 was HARD! Hopeful for 2024 as we’ve had to learn to lean on Him fully.
I deleted FB and IG back in 2019 and have not looked back. I do have X but am strict with only checking it twice a day for 10 minutes tops. I have gotten back into reading fiction which is much more fulfilling than scrolling and comparing myself to others 💜
I know you’ve mentioned how challenging 2023 was for you guys, but I have to say, you are shining brighter than I’ve ever seen you in the past! Your love and light for Jesus is honestly oozing out of you and I started noticing that a lot in the last few months and it’s been so beautiful!
Loved this video! My word for the year is “gentleness” - which ends up being related to your comments about being hurried. I’m always hurrying myself, sometimes for no good reason, so I’m not interruptible. My husband’s love language is words of affirmation and that’s some of the lowest for me, so I’m striving to be more gentle for that reason.
This video couldn’t have come at a better time! A lot of what you said really spoke to my heart, especially when you talked about not feeling the Lord and then learning to truly turn to Him. I’ve realized I have not truly been fully dependent on Him - so thank you for sharing!! I feel like surrender & abide have both been words on my heart and keep showing up in different ways, so those are the things I’m going to be working on this year. And a few other goals are for my relationship with Jesus, my physically/mental health, and my heart posture! Loved this video & your goals for 2024!! 🤍
I had TikTok for 6 months in 2021 and saw how much of my day I was wasting. I deleted it but now I feel stuck in Instagram reels all too easily. I love these goals I may use some of them. I love the idea of writing someone a letter. So personal and sweet
My word is simplify. My goal is to be intentional with Jesus I also started reading through the Bible and I am excited for that journey. This will be the first time I will have read through the whole book
The speaking to my partner better is something I really need to do, I find myself just being in a grumpy mood all of the time and I feel like I take it out on him and it’s just not nice…I need to do better ❤
I welcomed my second son in 2023 as well. I too started 2023 with little expectations because I knew I was having a baby and it was a rough year to say the least. My word of 2024 is joy and fun. I want to find joy in my everyday life and look for opportunities to make everyday fun with my boys. This season of them being little is so short. I want to look back and feel this was a joyful season. That I filled my home with our laughter.
2023 was rough. I dealt with depression, extreme anxiety, and ocd symptoms, almost out of nowhere. I've been doing better, going to therapy and we are expecting baby #2 this year and I'm so excited. It's given me a huge reason to get better. My words this year are radical acceptance. I can't let the fear of what could happen prevent me from living the life the Lord has given me. Love your videos, wishing you the best year❤️
Celest, I always love hearing you talk about your faith & walk with the Lord. It really is so encouraging :) Thank you for sharing! Praying for you and your family this new year 🙂 "The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." -Lamentations 3:22-23 ❤
Even If....even if i fail i had the courage to try. Even if this door closes, God has something bigger for me. Even if.... I am ready to start living the life God has planned for me, not the one i have allowed to drag me along.
I baby scrapbook monthly as well! so fun and a great way to cherish the memories. I bought a $30 one at hobby lobby with clear sheets and large blank white papers, so it allows for complete open ended creativity. i use walgreens too and my own printer occasionally! i can't give wait to give my 1.5 yr old her own scrapbook. and once we have the second baby, there will be even more memories :)
I feel that I relate to a lot of what you went through in 2023, and I also feel like God is doing so much in my heart this year. I am desiring to have a fresh revelation of love for Jesus. I am so thankful I found your channel, you are not alone! I also am loving your shirt, so cute.
Thank you Celeste! Going to get that book! Love your plans for this year! God bless all your endeavors for 2024! I'm with you on Abiding In The Lord! 😊❤
Hi darling, I loved this vlog! One that really resonates with me is your goal as a wife. My goal is the same! I'm guilty of talking down about my fiancé when with friends. He's a really funny guy (which I adore!) and is often the one everyone picks on in jokes. I have fallen into going along with it & end up making fun of him, INSTEAD of sticking up for him in a fun way. I hate that I do it, & often don't catch it until AFTER it flies out of my mouth. 🙊 Here are my focus areas this year:: Spiritual growth Jerwin (my fiancé) Health / Fitness Hobbies Self care Homemaking Big scary one that will push me is starting a vlog finally 😬 And big faith one is believing somehow, someway, by a miracle we will have a wedding this summer!!!!! Common Jesus!

I love how genuine you are. Refreshing.
Hmmm, you could still snap a photo but then send it to Austin instead of social media haha. Because those photos are good scrapbook material.
Instead of months my mom went by seasons for scrapbooking and it was super cute. We had a few pages for summer fall winter spring of every year.
